Can't complain about the location. Very central. However the rooms and service leave much to be desired. I specifically asked not to be put in a connecting room, however when reaching my room there was a connecting door. I returned to the reception to ask that this be changed. They obliged and gave me a new room. This was also a connecting room. This is where things started to go downhill. I returned to reception and explained this and was told that it was not a connecting room. I'm not sure why I would lie about such things but I was obviously suspicious enough that the receptionist left me waiting at reception while she went to assess the validity of my claims. When she returned I asked how she had got on but was completely blanked by said reception. Perhaps she was perturbed. Who knows. I was then transferred to another room. Great! Get in, the bed is broken. At this point I'm starting to feel like I'm being made an example of, for what is a very basic request: please don't place me in a connecting room. I phone the front desk for assistance as I don't want to drag my luggage back downstairs again and the person on the phone is very pleasant. I get moved to another room which is okay but has a lovely smell of musk and smoke to it. I give up on getting anything remotely nice out of this stay and resolve to just deal with it. Overall not a great start to the experience and I don't see it changing. I was offered access to the executive lounge for the inconvenience. I had booked an executive room and already had access to this. Fantastic service all round.

There was no early check in feature even to pay for it was not possible yet you offer late checkout upon request. Most hotel offer a pre arrival email for upgrades and such. The room was missing working lightbulbs in the lamp, wardrobe lights and hallway. We didn’t get to tell anyone because the front desk was always busy. These lights should have been checked by housekeeping when they inspected the room, easy items to check. Also the shower gel was obviously not topped up during cleaning because it ran out on the second day. Real basic things that unimpressed me.

Annoyingly well located but other hotels (and plenty of them) in the area are far nicer. Tip for anyone booking a dock view room, don't go for any emailed upgrade for £25 more. Whilst not even worth the £25 more, the upgrade certainly in my case removed the dock view. We had the corner suite, and the carpets are worn, tired and dirty, some of the blinds were missing, the air conditioning was there but may as well as not been as was just sandblasting the room with hot air. It was a big birthday for my wife so we ordered some champagne when checking in, waited 40 minutes and never arrived. Overall would recommend you stay away, and only book if availability is not there with other hotels. Would recommend the pullman, or holiday Inn over this hotel in a heartbeat. When did you let yourself go Hilton.... disappointing.

Let me expand on my initial review. The staff, with the exception of a couple, are rude and obnoxious. They insisted we had not paid through a well known booking site and in front of a crowded reception told us we had to pay to obtain access to our room. My wife did this and whilst I rang the booking site, she went back down to reception to explain that they had had payment. The manager promised to refund all charges, some 19 days later - nothing. Emails go unanswered not only to the hotel but also the support (non-support) team. The room was dimly lit, the bed uncomfy, the pillows could have been used to build the place, the heating didn't work and the breakfast was cold and missing ingredients. Location wise it is perfect, shame about everything else. Looks like I will have to take action to recover my money. I'd never stay there again, even if the stay was free.

Afternoon Tea in the Pima Bar. We arrived a bit earlier than the time our reservation was for. This wasn't a problem, met by very helpful and pleasant staff. We were shown to our table. Food and drinks arrived. Enjoyed a lovely pot of tea. Sandwiches were really nice and fresh. Good selection of cakes Jam & cream scones to finish. Later, moved to the bar area and relaxed with an alcoholic drink. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience 👍

An exceptional hotel, one of the best Hilton in the UK. Very high standards, a luxury hotel in the heart of Liverpool, opposite the Albert Dock development. The interior style needs to be seen and enjoyed. Mood lighting, funky wall paper and lighting. The staff are smiley, happy to help and chatty. On both occasions that I stayed I have been impressed with the high standards in the restaurant. Well worth a visit for a drink if not overnighting.

Spent 5 days there and were possibly the worst 5 days I ever had whilst on holidays. Avoid it at all costs. The room my husband and I were in wasn’t suitable for guests, it smelt really bad like it had been closed for years. They kept the air con on at all times (it was already on when we checked in) and I can only imagine it was to hide the smell. Everything looked broken. The wardrobe doors didn’t close properly, the lights behind the bed only worked halfway, the curtain rail was broken. Our family paid a lot of money for what it was supposed to be a relaxing stay on a 4 star hotel and we were left disappointed (to say the least). After a couple of days staying there, we noticed that the carpet next to the bed was soaking wet. And as it if wasn’t enough, besides being wet the carpet was also full of bugs walking around and flying. Absolutely disgusting. We had already had problems with our cards getting charged overnight (which was something we had been trying to fix in the reception for days), but this was the last straw. It was only after we mentioned bugs in the room that the staff seemed to care about what we were going through. we were moved to another floor and got an “upgrade” to an executive room. the room was a bit better but nothing worth the money, really. Honestly, I was treated far better and was more comfortable in hostels than I was at Hilton. My husband and I tried filling a complaint form in the reception but we were told that they “didn’t have one”, ha. An absolute joke. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Liverpool. Minutes walk from shops and sights. Room really spacious with a massive bed and a really comfortable mattress and pillows. The hotel room and floor was very quiet but unfortunately ruined by the noise from the Aircon machine which was very loud. The room had no windows so we had no choice but to have it on as the weather was very warm at the time of our stay. We availed of the upgrade which included continental breakfast and complimentary drinks in a separate lounge between 6 and 8pm. It was good value for money. The coffee machine however didn't work either day A couple of areas were unexpected for a hotel of this standard. The top pillow had holes in the pillow case which looked like cigarette holes. Maybe overlooked by housekeeping but very off-putting. The room overall looked clean however the bathroom had a very slow draining sink and the shower area and bath especially the shower head in bath, were in need of a deep clean. The attention to detail in regards to cleanliness wasn't great in the bathroom area. Room service was difficult to access, the phone was not answering and when we tried to order through reception they were less than accommodating so we gave up. Again a small detail but it was unexpected for the Hilton. It's little things like the above that make your stay special and memorable and do take away from the whole experience

Loved this hotel. Nice executive lounge. I’d definitely recommend paying extra to upgrade to a dual aspect room overlooking the docks. Friendly staff. We parked next door in the multi-storey car park (pre booked).

I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was good with lots of options, location is great and is within walking distance to lots of museums, shops and places to eat. Tina at the reception desk was very sweet and went out of her way to make me comfortable. Also Joann was a sweetheart as well. I recommend this hotel.

Only came in for afternoon tea not a stay this time. Our waitress Chloe was absolutely lovely couldn’t be more helpful. Food was lovely although we have been to cheaper places and had much more choices included which was quite disappointing considering the price.

This is my third visit to this Hilton hotel in the city centre. The location is fantastic something that is very important to me with it being situated opposite the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping centre. On the doorstep for sightseeing and shopping. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. The Cavern is also just a five minutes away. I was welcomed on reception by Paige. What a lovely young lady very polite and professional and made it a wonderful start to my short stay in Liverpool. Five star Hotel and staff. Could not be more impressed.

Great hotel with a great location, great staff and ideal for events. My partner and I had our wedding reception here and would recommend it. Thank you for providing such a special day for us both.

Fantastic hotel ine the middle of Liverpool. Staff were great and very attentive. Hotel looks great with its very classical looking Christmas decorations. Rooms spot on clean and big. The view I had was great. Breakfast has a bit of everything for everyone.

This Hotel boasts a great location with easy access to all the amenities that you may need when travelling to Liverpool for the first time. The staff are really helpful and on point. The rooms are spacious and if you have a view of the dock it just adds a little more elegance to the room.

Lovely staff, couldn’t do enough for us. Location is perfect. Opposite Albert Dock/Echo Arena/Pier head/Maritime museum and adjacent to the Liverpool 1 shopping centre & bus station. Unfortunately the rooms are very dated and worn. There is little power in the shower, very poor. No fridge and no plug sockets near the bed. Room was too warm and A/C was not working.

  • 4/5 Nick W. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel but a little dated. Room was cold, TV small and no coffee pod machine. The rooms need updating somewhat. Apart from that, nice staff and great location.

Had a lovely stay at the Hilton, bed wa comfortable, room clean as well as friendly, helpful staff. Only negative would be there was no coffee/tea available in the room. I had such a lovely sleep, i missed breakfast due to being so tired, which was well needed but no cuppa to wake up to. Found this odd, lovely hotel though.

Stayed here for a conference this past week. Very nice hotel with fabulous facilities perfect for a conference. Amazing selection at breakfast. Bedroom was extremely well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. Really easy checking-in, check-out and bag storage. F&B fab for all meals. Short walk to the city and the docs. Perfect for a stroll in between sessions. Thank you.

This experience has been amazing. The highlight of our visit has to be the warm, welcoming greeting and service we received from Michael Douglas. An absolutely fantastic asset to any business. You should be very proud of him and we will most definitely recommend you to all of our friends. Thank you Michael and Thank-you Hilton. Merry Xmas. Paul and Donna. Room 623 x

Been here for a conference. Beautiful lobby with a coffee cocktail bar. I had the latte which is like a latte machiato tasted amazing. Tried the food catered at the conference and it is delicious and nicely served. I have not tried rooms, but the hotel in general is so presentable with modern interior, very clean toilets with sustainable taps and lights. The halls( Grace and Albert) where the conference took place had comfortable seating and were tidy and clean, with big screen and good sound syatem allowing the event to flow smoothly. I still must try the rooms on my nezt visit and maybe update this review. Location wize, it is perfectly close to many attraction just in front of Albert doke and behind it is One Liverpool shopping centre

Location is 5-star. You are within walking distance of everything there is to do but not the best if you need to work in the room. Room seems recently updated but poor desk lighting, only 2 plugs at the desk, no plugs on either side of the bed or elsewhere. And for women, bathroom lighting is awful for makeup, no plug for the hairdryer, and the makeup mirror is mounted strangely high. Only instant coffee in the rooms. Restaurant was mediocre. We had to ask for service on numerous occasions. And at breakfast, waitress was using her bare hands to put bread slices and other food items out, touching it all. Not Hilton’s best but again, the location is perfect. Would stay again but bring an extension cord. 😎

I stayed one night, I had problems at the reception, the room was paid for with breakfast, but the lady at the reception assured me that breakfast was not paid for, Very unpleasant situation. She just left without apologizing and another receptionist came and apologized and everything was fine ... until morning. The deposit you pay if you destroy something in the room was charged to me with an additional £27, of course nothing was damaged in the room. Getting someone on the phone to solve the case is a real lottery...in the end I got my money back. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean, the breakfast could be better for the price.

The staff is really nice and friendly. The room was on the executive level, 6th floor. Great view. Three stars because the bathroom has cracked floor tiles. The shower door doesn't close properly so water went all over the floor. The curtains are hard to open and close because the pull has broken. TV controller didn't work well. Executive lounge 6-8pm was good, free drinks and canapes. However some music would be nice. Breakfast was nice. Coffee was the best part. Location was the best part of this hotel, shopping center Liverpool One is adjacent and the Albert Dock is across the road.

Just returned from a 4 day stay here. 1 star is for the great location/view from our room and 1 star for a specific staff member (Joanne), very friendly and accommodating. Other than those, not many other positives about this Hotel. We stayed in a Executive Guest room as my Husband is a Diamond Member.. I was expecting a lot better for the money paid! The check in staff at reception were bog standard, both women stood talking to each other whilst we waited with our cases. The check in felt very rushed and I had to go back down twice to enquire about Wifi password/breakfast times etc. The room was poor for the price. Very old fashioned and nothing extra for being an “Executive Room”. Mattress had staining and the room felt tired. We had to ask reception to get the cleaner as they missed our room on the second day. The breakfast was nice, we felt it had a good selection and the Chef was friendly. The only other attraction was the stunning staircase as you walk into the Hotel, it makes a statement piece with the lights! I felt the I had the biggest smile on my face when we checked out and were going home. The Premier Inn around the corner offers everything this place does for a fraction of the price! I know where I will be going if I ever return to Liverpool.

We had a great time, the location of the hotel was perfect. Few notes: - Having traveled quite a bit around the world, staying at hotels like Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott, I do see a need for some upgrades and renovations. Rooms are clean and functional, but the ancient aircon system and absence of USB chargers or EU outlets was a bit disappointing. It's 90's style. - Service was very friendly, not efficient. We had a problem with the lock of our room (which I identified in 2 minutes to be fixed by placing a new battery). It took 2 friendly (from my side) visits to the front desk and a phone call where I expressed that I was getting impatient to fix it. 45 to 60 minutes sitting in front of our room on the ground. No apologies or anything else, except the technician saying sorry 6 times. I am not a diva or complainer, but I was definitely getting grumpy at some point. In the end we still enjoyed our stay, but disappointing service for a place where I did pay 15 GBP for a glass of wine.

To be honest the rooms are nothing special. They are very quiet but being top floor maybe why. Couldn't hear noise from adjoing rooms though. Disappointing no bar snacks, only an over priced menu. Drinks a little dearer than local competition but to be expected.

What can I say, it's a Hilton. It is not necessary to say anything about this hotel because its fame speaks for it. I can say that it is a Hotel that is very well located in the city and that it enjoys excellent views, you also have the facility of being next to the Liverpool 1 shopping center and the bus station that takes you directly to the airport.

The hotel is showing serious signs of ageing. A lot of broken items.. very poor sockets location . In fairness Extremely comfortable beds but a terrible shower. I spent a lot of money to stay here for yhe quality experience and I'm very disappointed. Cancelled my next stay as just not worth the extra money versus the other options

We had high expectations based on reviews and hotel rating. Unfortunately the hotel is very basic. Nothing fancy. Constantly understaffed, lack of attention to details, rude duty manager, poor executive lounge, and very basic breakfast which get crowded quickly with no sense of relaxation or enjoyment. Executive rooms were simple, thin towels, poor amenities, AC was only on cooling mode, can’t heat the room to a comfort of 22C… no bell person. And unfortunately aside from the location there is nothing about this hotel worse remembering or recommending.

Stayed in the city center while visiting family. Parking isn't great and could have had more thought when designed and built. Staff were great and available at all times. Hotel room was nice, not too big but sizeable enough. Lots to do right outside the door with a large shopping center and Albert dock next door.

Stayed here at the end of September for an early birthday week celebration. There was some confusion when booking it through the Hilton membership but got sorted in the end. Enjoyed the room we had on the 3rd floor. Bed was comfy and the cleaners did a good job every day to maintain a spotless room. The breakfast was underwhelming to be honest, not too many options and was edible but nothing to shout out. Can't comment on the evening meals as we eat out the nights we were there. Overall a good stay and it's definitely ideal for the location

Very impressive. Great location right opposite the Albert Dock. Tricky drive through the city centre and parking is in the Q Park opposite. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Clean and businesslike. Rooms are very comfortable. Gym is pretty bland - needs a make over. Whole hotel is a little cool (cold) but that’s better than too warm. Good breakfast.

Room was very dark for working in the evening, probably fine for a relaxing on holiday. Some staff were great, others not so. It's fine but I probably won't stay again.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for a business trip, we chose the hotel due to have it having an Executive Lounge which we were to use as our office/ meeting area to go through 2024 plans. Unforeseen issues meant that the whole day the lights weren't working yet no member of staff ever was bothered to update us or willing to discuss a refund due to the room being hardly usable throughout. Sad as I felt the bar/ reception staff were great and the room was okay. Location for Liverpool ONE and Albert Dock is good.

First time in Liverpool for a conference, hosted at the Hilton. ROOMS: The rooms were spacious and tidy. However, I did find hairs (not mine) in the bed. The bathroom products were nice, but the bathroom seemed to have a leak (rm 335), and the carpet was wet just outside the bathroom, which was not nice to stand in. The room temp was quite cold too. Last moan about the room....this is the Hilton and they have NO USB plugs??? Really? Come on Hilton. SERVICE/FOOD: The service and food in the restaurant was brilliant, and there were lots of choices at breakfast. Mostly good things to say about the service, but I definitely felt let down by the front desk as I was leaving. I had plenty of time to catch my train home, which was almost missed due to the front desk calling me a cash only cab!! Who carries cash these days? Thank goodness for tesco cash back! LOCATION: Wonderful location next to the Docks!

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed a 3 course meal with a glass of presseco each on a wowcher deal,we both had chicken wings for starters very nice, both our mains we opted for ribeye steak 10oz with chips and large flat mushroom and grilled tomatoes steak was £5 pp extra but worth it.Dessert I had upside down caramelised apple pie with ice cream very nice.My partner had cheesecake which would have been better with pouring cream.A very enjoyable meal and good value for money.

Excellent stay at the Hilton for 2 nights. Very comfy beds and good breakfast. Lovely decor for Christmas 🎄 Only thing that let it down was the shower, not much power and difficult to position without soaking the floor.

Extortionate bar priced way over what was published in the drinks menu. Pint of Stella , single gin and slimline £14.50. Should have been £12.60 according to the menu. Then a pint of Stella with single gin £12.24. Should have been £10.70. Only checked this out the day after. Do you charge extra for drinks on a tribute night or is someone lining their pockets??

We love staying at the Hilton Liverpool with the general location and proximity to shops, bars and restaurants. The general experience was good and the quality of the room as expected though a couple of glitches with a blind missing in our bathroom (privacy issue when using facilities) and a bumpy start to service with the Executive Lounge offer. We did receive excellent service in the Pima bar on our return to the hotel following dinner. Breakfast great as ever and a great start to our Sunday.

Took about 10 mins to check in as only 1 staff member on the reception desk who was on the phone. When I finally checked in, the bathroom tiles were cracked on the floor. To be fair, when I raised it I was offered to move rooms which was great, but it meant carting all my stuff between rooms which were not close. The next room had a funny smell and no foot-stool with the chair and the both rooms don't have a socket near the bed. Nicer view though. Bed is comfortable.

Due to reputation & the brand I was expecting something special but was disappointed. It was clean & functional but Ive stayed in nicer rooms in budget hotels. Also very disappointed that the bedding & pillows were duckdown. I've been vegetarian for 30years & dont use animal products. Quite upset about that. No mention on booking & no options to book synthetic

Located within the southern end of Liverpool One, this excellent 4 star hotel provided a terrific venue for a Frankie Valli tribute night via the Executive Lounge, and retreat from a second day of shopping and visiting the fabulous Albert Docks. The hotel facilities, customer service and ambience were all up to standard for this solid brand.

Nice hotel, great spot. Brekkie, as always in Hiltons, was superb. Loads of choice, everything cold was cold and everything hot was hot. Bar service was great although choices were very limited - one lager, one IPA and the IPA was off on the 2nd night (this might be global supply issues, who knows?). I'm gold, but was missing my two bottles of water in the room. Rectified at the front desk. Exec loung was tiny and rammed with eager seniors at 6pm sharp. It was however moved upstairs for night 2 with more room, which was altogether note relaxed. Would return, but a couple of minor touch-ups would make it perfect.

Hotel of preference when visiting Liverpool. My family and I had the opportunity to stay there back in July 2020 the rooms had a decent size and one of the corner suites was beyond excellent; massive and nice design. Clean hotel, we had a nice rest after tourism. Nice food at the bar and the hotel also counts with an executive lounge. The staff were and I am sure they still are excellent! I hope that they are still working there and I hope I wrote their names right; Saha, Shibcy, Mihoi, Niki and at the reception the Reception Manager back then, Rosi made our stay in the hotel and our visit to Liverpool just amazing. The hotel is close to any place that you would like to visit by walk, so perfect location for us. Right behind the hotel was the bus stop which took us to another placed that we visited, very convenient. When I think about hospitality, this hotel and their service comes to my mind! I give you 6 starts ^_^ Apologies that I did not write this review sooner. I hope that Id have the opportunity to visit you soon. Regards! S.

Update - Increased from 2 to 4 stars following the excellent handling of my issues when I followed up with the hotel. Staff very friendly and an excellent breakfast as well as one of the best locations in the city. We would stay again following the way our issues have been handled in a professional and friendly manner. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our TV did not work for the duration of our stay, even after reporting this immediately and following a 20 minute attempt by an on call staff member to repair it. I said that the coaxial cable was snapped at the back, which was the issue but this was ignored and the TV remained useless for the duration of our stay. We only had x 1 bath towel between two of us for two days and after reporting this we were told that a delivery of fresh towels was not received and nothing could be done about this.

Location was good, breakfast was good, room not so good, for a king de-lux, it was very basic, not very clean, empty water bottle on floor, from previous client. Had ironing board, but no iron, no bathrobe as advertised, and was charged more than advertised price. At Hilton Gatwick tonight, much better room, at half the price

Wonderful few days at The Hilton Liverpool City Centre celebrating my Mum's birthday. The hotel is well located for the Liverpool attractions and shopping. The staff are all friendly, kind and considerate and made my Mum very happy with all the attention for her birthday. Being a Hilton honors Diamond member I was upgraded to an executive room on check-in and during my stay enjoyed the benefits of the executive lounge which had an excellent spread in the evening. Looking forward to returning very soon.

Lovely room and breakfast. Very comfortable bed, really soft. Air conditioning worked well which I find is rare in hotels. A good sized room with a king sized bed. Breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with loads of different options. I wish I had been hungrier as it was all really delicious.

We were hosted by British Indian Origin here! The food was so delicious, I regain my India food flavor after 6 years! The service was good, drinks and the Indian dancing was superb. The management of this facility gave us a warm reception and it was so lovely. They were so handy at our request, at here we never fall short of anything we could request. I would recommend for anyone to come at this hotel.

Expect a high standard from the Hilton. The room was tired and quite threadbare. Bed was comfortable, all linen spotlessly clean. Bathroom in great condition with a good shower. Bar had run out of beer except for one brand on draught, they must have about ten pumps so that was poor. Breakfast was fabulous, huge choice, everything piping hot and good quality. Staff in breakfast area excellent at clearing tables and refilling empty trays etc. Good location.

My cousin and I had afternoon tea here. The food was fresh and of a high quality. The staff were polite and efficient. We were there for a few hours and even though they needed to get the restaurant ready for their evening guests they didn't rush us. They discreetly prepared the tables around us which I thought was great customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel because if the rooms are anything like the restaurant your stay will be outstanding. I haven't gave the rooms a star rating as I've not had the pleasure of staying in them.

My daughter spent the night before her wedding in the presidential suite with her bridesmaids and my husband and I stayed a few doors along. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were impeccable and anything we asked for was brought to the room. Staff were friendly and attentive. When my daughter and her new husband returned in the evening, the bedroom was tidied up and looked beautiful with rose petals. Breakfast was the best we’ve had ( and we’ve stayed in SO many hotels. Definitely return, with the greatest of pleasure. Xx

Great location and in general very good rooms and friendly customer service. Also a good breakfast selection. Unfortunately, the shower has an altered spray on it which meant I couldn't enjoy a nice shower during my stay.

Located right by the docks and the town centre, our stay was great. The rooms were clean and modern, with plenty of space. The Executive Lounge was lovely, as was the large breakfast buffet which served a mixture of foods (continental, pancakes, waffles, hot food, cereals etc). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the onsite parking was very convenient.

Look, it was OK, but for the cost, it should be closer to perfect. The room was a bit tired, mattice too bouncy, broken floor tile in bathroom, shower gel not replenished. Breakfast was great, room quiet, though air conditioning very loud. I think there's much cheaper rooms available in the area which probably offer the same level of quality, hence the 2 star rating

Great 'Marshmallow' soft bed & pillows, well proportioned room. Good security measures and perfect location for all the wonderful attractions Liverpool has to offer, within walking distance of Albert Dock (across the road!) and the city centre with its fabulous bars, restaurants and shops is literally on your doorstep, a 2min walk away! Make sure to get the parking discount from reception when leaving if you park in 'John Lewis' car park (2mins away).

A fantastic hotel, lovely clean environment throughout, the staff were all incredible, if you visit Liverpool, this is possibly the best hotel for location, you are literally just minutes from everywhere, the bus station, the docks, the shopping centre, the M & S arena if your going to see a live show. The breakfast buffet was excellent and so much choice, catered for every need. Thank you Hilton Liverpool, had a great stay.

An excellent experience from beginning to end. Your every need catered for. Coffee machine in the executive lounge wasn't working but staff got you a coffee whenever you required it. All staff members friendly and appeared to be happy in their various positions.

A little pricey but you get what you pay for nice rooms well equipped nice bathrooms and nice manned car park out the front if your lucky you might see some super cars parked out the front , around the corner from the hotel there’s the famous “LIVERPOOL” sign and a few more things you can take picture off.

Went to see Frankie Valli tribute. The room was packed, with tables of 12 people. There were two tiny saucers with 4 blobs of butter on between 12 people. Starter was tomato and basil soup which l can't eat so was offered potato soup which was lukewarm but nice. We didn't get any butter so l asked for more. We waited 10 minutes for 4 blobs of butter to come so the soup was cold. The bread was lovely, the meal was served about 8.30 which was very nice. Tribute was very good but far too many people squashed into the room which was roasting. Won't be going again. .

Beautiful hotel with large rooms. A bit old, but not outdated, they could invest a bit more for the price that you pay for a room. Four stars because the cleaning it is a bit poor here and there. Also there are various elements, furniture or decorations that are visible deteriorated. Overall it is a good hotel to stay, much better than others hilton across Midlands and above.

Didn't look exclusive and upmarket in the area of the hotel we visited. Not as good as expected, felt like we were treated as Joe Average, not as a valued customer, for our afternoon tea. Hotel corridor and adjacent areas looked shabby and slightly tatty for a so called top establishment.

Had a lovely stay here however we had upgraded and spent quite a lot on the room and found it a bit dirty. The headboard was so dusty and around the bathroom sink had dried Toothpaste. The rest of our stay was amazing.

Prices of alcoholic drinks were extortionate. We got put in a disabled room too and weren't sure if all the rooms were just wheelchair accessible rooms. We were only staying for the night so didn't bother requesting a room change. Staff are lovely.
