Arrived
here
for
an
overnight
stay
on
Saturday
around
4pm.
After
eventually
navigating
the
car
park
(surrounded
by
derelict
buildings
and
a
petrol
station)
we
found
we
couldn't
get
to
the
foyer
to
check
in
because
a
large
wedding
party
was
having
a
photography
session
in
the
entrance
blocking
the
way!
Wet
through
with
torrential
rain
we
had
to
push
our
way
past
to
check
in.
Then
we
had
to
push
through
them
again
to
get
to
the
stairway
up
to
the
rooms.
Wedding
photography
in
a
the
hotel
entrance?
...
Really!!!
Climbed
2
floors
with
pealing
wallpaper
and
flaking
plaster
to
find
our
room
which
was
clean
but
no
towels
and
no
hair
dryer
both
of
which
should
have
been
supplied.
Looked
for
the
phone
to
contact
reception
but
of
course
there's
no
phone
either.
Used
our
mobiles
to
phone
reception
and
request
our
towels.
They
apologised
and
said
they
would
bring
some
straight
up.
After
20mins
waiting
I
walked
down
to
reception
myself
and
asked
for
them
in
person.
The
receptionist
reached
under
the
counter
and
produced
4
towels
(one
of
which
turned
out
to
be
badly
stained
with
what
we
hope
was
fake
tan
but
could
have
been
anything).
The
room
was
fairly
clean.
The
bathroom
was
also
clean
but
most
fixtures
and
fittings
are
broken
or
tired
and
the
tiles
cracked
in
places.
Sealing
around
the
bath
has
come
away
so
I
presume
the
floor
under
the
bath
is
constantly
damp.
Bath
tub
floor
flexed
worryingly
when
used
as
a
shower
as
if
it
wasn't
supported
underneath.
Tray
with
tea
and
coffee
on
was
much
too
long
for
the
table
and
so
easy
to
catch
and
tip
up.
One
of
the
electrical
sockets
didn't
work
and
crackled
when
we
tried
it!!!
View
from
our
window
was
what
appears
to
be
a
taxi
junk
yard
and
a
small
collection
of
rubbish
bins
and
skips.
The
grounds
of
the
hotel
at
the
front
appear
well
kept
but
the
rest
of
what
we
witnessed
was
not.
We
will
not
be
visiting
this
hotel
again.
Avoid
at
all
costs.
