I recently stayed at the Premier Inn John Lennon Airport during a trip to Liverpool, and I found it to be a convenient and comfortable option for my travel needs. The location of the hotel, just a short walk from the airport terminal, was incredibly convenient for my early morning flight. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed, including free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. One downside of the hotel was that it was located in an industrial area, so there were limited options for dining and entertainment nearby. However, the hotel's on-site restaurant and bar provided a decent selection of food and drinks, which was convenient after a long day of traveling. Overall, I would recommend the Premier Inn John Lennon Airport for those looking for a convenient and affordable option for their stay in Liverpool. The hotel's location and basic amenities make it a good choice for travelers on a budget or those with early morning flights to catch.

Stayed before catching an early flight, easy to find, welcome was great, room perfect. We had dinner, a mix of small plates and drinks at the bar was lovely for an airport hotel. My daughter left her phone at the table and met Morgan bringing it to the room when she went looking for it. Morgan deserves a special mention so cheery, positive and helpful made my daughters night returning the phone would definitely recommend 👌

Booked in here overnight before an early morning flight. Clean comfy room with everything you need. Great food in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 Mins walk to the airport with a bus stop outside for access to/from Liverpool city center. This hotel is perfect for its purpose and I will stay there again.

Great location within walking distance of the airport terminal. Staff very responsive (at reception, bar and restaurant) and efficient in all areas. Room fairly basic but more than sufficient for a good nights sleep. Clean and tidy, including the en-suite bathroom. Cost reasonable but extra to pay for parking in an open yard adjacent to and behind the hotel. Appears easily accessible in all public spaces.

The hotel is in a brilliant position for the airport..Great parking, good staff, good food and a great room. You can see the airport and at 5 in the morning the airplanes start revving up.You know what you get with a premier Inn.

You know, everybody (including myself) say that you can go to any Premier Inn and expect the same quality of rooms wherever you are in the country always comfortable, clean and quiet. The one at Liverpool John Lennon airport is an exception. The staff here are the most attentive and friendly I have ever come across. The food is cooked to a high standard and served with a smile. Nothing is a problem here, well done!

1x night stay before going to the airport the following day, we traveled from Birmingham and our flight was an early one. 5 min drive from the airport. The price was good, parking was around £5 for the night

Be VERY CAREFUL if you are dropping off family/friends at this hotel. My husband and I dropped of our daughter who was staying for one night before flying from the airport next morning. As we had travelled a long way to drop her off we stayed for a quick cuppa before heading home. WE STAYED 52 MINUTES. We have now been landed with a fine of £100.

Stayed in this premier inn, in Liverpool for Eurovision weekend and I can’t fault it absolute superb service from the minute I arrive check in was easy and the guy on the desk was very friendly and chatty. The staff who served me in the restaurant on an evening were amazing, can only remember Kimberly’s name but the other girl was young and had long black/brown hair in a ponytail, all staff are an absolute credit to the company. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great cooked to order pizzas 🍕 in restaurant - can choose your fave 3 toppings. Rooms clean and as expected from a Premier Inn. Have pay for parking for each 24 hour stay.

It was cheap as chips - £53 for a family room, but it would be nice to have a better mattress. Sharing a Queen size double that wobbles around every time you move ain’t comfortable.

Nice clean room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Food a little expensive and unfortunately air con in my room wasn't working. Staff said the only way to change temperature was to go down to reception (as they could do it from there) every time I needed it adjusting. Made things a little uncomfortable during the night. Apart from these 2 things everything else was great.

Only stayed one night, I was in the area on business. Met some colleagues in the bar for drinks but we went elsewhere for dinner. Really friendly welcome on arrival as was the team member in the morning at breakfast. The room was fine, as expected in a Premier Inn. It was a warm room but opening the window wasn't an option as even though it opened my room was road side and I could hear the traffic. I am a light sleeper though. Good location for me for the business meeting, easy to get to.

I visited a friend here who I had not seen in ages. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the hotel deserves praise for the way it looked. Services received whilst there were exactly what I hope they would be. 5*

Excellent room, facilities and breakfast. The 86 a bus gets you into town for £2 each, stops right outside the hotel. Great little hotel👍

I booked the Premier Inn at Liverpool Airport for a base for my Maltese friend who visited Liverpool on 1st Jan 2023...she said it was amazing and her 4 year old daughter said the best thing about Liverpool was the Premier Inn bed lol...I would highly recommend the Premier Inn at the Airport for a base for any visitor to Liverpool...you have everything around about for shopping especially the Mersey Retail Park all very very close...walking distance...and lots of buses stop outside the hotel going to and from the airport and city centre bus station in Liverpool city centre....the hotel is only a short walk from the airport about 250 metres

Perfect place to get to Liverpool airport. It's literally a 5 minute walk to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Very clean and comfortable as you would expect from a Premier Inn and excellent value. It was cheaper than getting a taxi to the airport or parking at the airport and no early start and rushing to get there. Relaxing and an easy early morning short stroll. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

For an airport hotel, it's a walk to the terminal, about 5-10 minutes, all on footpath but in the ice and freezing weather, walk with caution. Typical PI, on the road leading to the airport with parking, no frills but there is tea/coffee in room, no USB charging points, but good hot shower, comfy bed. A bit noisy from other rooms late at night.

Great choice to sleep over if you have an early flight. Expect about nine minutes walk to the airport. Bed was confy and the bathroom was tidy and good sized.

Excellent location for an early flight from Liverpool Airport. Easy check in, room was spotless, lovely comfortable beds. Bathroom very clean, plenty of hot water. Did not use the restaurant.

Had a one night stay here, bed only - really comfortable bed, room was perfect with a wee sofa etc too which was lovely. Staff were friendly and drinks were a good price! Had a great nights sleep (had been up from 2am that day) and check-in/out was easy. Bags kept there safely while we were out and just picked them up on way to airport. Close to bus stops also - the 86 which takes you straight into city centre.

Walls are thin like most other premier inns, got woken up every hour one night from doors shutting and foot steps up and down the corridor. Everything else was fine, just the sleep experience was a nightmare, wont be staying in another premier in again.

I had three weeks not including weekends at this hotel while doing training for work. Lovely staff. Very welcoming. Breakfast good. Also it's a short walk from the airport 👌

Just your standard hotel, probably a little on the dated side around the hallways and rooms but pleasant enough for a nights start before flying. Very close to the airport

Surprisingly comfortable with some great provisions like Baylis and Harding body / hair / hand wash and clean comfortable bedding. Kettle in rooms with tea and coffee was nice. Hairdryer in rooms too. Careful with the hot water - it is seriously searing! Nice to provide more pillows in the room. The bed is decent in terms of comfort and the breakfast for just over £10 per head is not bad at all! They had elements of full English all hot and ready to eat, cereals, pastries alternative soy milk, fresh fruits and games for children too. Plenty of parking available at a cost. The car park felt safe. Two small recommendations for improvement: 1. More towels in rooms e.g. Face towels and one more floor towel 2. Some takeaway cups at breakfast would be helpful for people to get a hot drink to go if rushed.

Standard Premier Inn. Rooms nice & clean. The food is good. Service good. Drinks are an absolute rip off £5.25 for a pint of Worthington Cream Flow. Absolute disgrace, and you'll need a bank loan to drink here

Pre holiday stay, got exactly what we ordered, room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Got the meal deal for dinner and breakfast and this is where they shined . Everything we ate was well cooked and tasty. Would stay here again if flying from john lennon airport

Typical Premier Inn, you know exactly what you will get. They do charge for parking. There is a restaurant inside the building and the food was very good. Staff were very nice which is normal for this chain.

Usual reasonably good rooms. Friendly staff, friendly restaurant staff, food good value. Very convenient.

I would stay here more often if they did not charge for parking. Typical Premier Inn, reasonable restaurant, rather soulless hotel. When you add breakfast and parking it looks less good value for money .

We have, as many have, stayed in lots of premier inns, and we feel this is by far one of the best, excellent staff in both recption and restaurant area, good rooms and a perfect location for catching a flight, small downside...having to pay for parking..

Very nice. Comfy beds as you would expect and really nice rooms. The bar and restaurant were really friendly and helpful. Food was also delicious. Would definitley come back

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and pillows, slept well. Breakfast was chaotic and they were really understaffed for a busy Bank Holiday Monday breakfast but it was tasty. They weren't doing food/room service, yet still put the menus in the room but with no sign to say they weren't doing food... Bit frustrating as no phone in the room to enquire so a journey to and from reception wasted but all in all a decent stay for the price.

Great staff. Easy location to get to. I'd recommend booking a cab/Uber before flying as trying to get a local pickup is impossible. Premier Inn breakfasts are as usual, great.

Nice place nice and clean staff are very nice and one member helped by giving us information on a bus service as we did not want to drive. Very nice breakfast again staff members so helpful would recommend but let me just add this is no 5 start hotel so don't be so picky and fussy because staff are there to help not to be abused over miner things show respect

Always enjoyed our stays here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The check in and out is self service touch screen. Parking is plentiful and right outside the hotel. Lifts are available in reception. The bar and restaurant is good. We choose not to stay for breakfast but ate locally elsewhere better value for money. We did have our evening meal here and really enjoyed the food. Location is near the airport and a short drive into the city centre.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the past twelve years and cannot fault it. On this particular occasion I was so glad to arrive after a long drive in treacherous weather because I always know that I’ll be welcomed by friendly and efficient hotel staff and that my room will be clean, warm and comfortable. The food is good and not too expensive and the Speke shopping centre is only a few minutes walk away with a cinema and lots of shops and restaurants.

Always a pleasure staying at a Premier Inn. You just know you are going to get great value for your money ey. This hotel was spotless. Rooms were so clean and you can go in and not worry. The check in process was quick and although we didn't eat in the attached restaurant this time we have eaten there before and the food was great. A quick and flat walk to the airport and on a bus route to the city centre if required

  • 5/5 Chrissie M. 1 year ago on Google
The room was not large and it was not as quiet as it has been at other Premier Inns. But it is an airport hotel so probably to be expected. The staff were lovely and helpful The breakfast was very good and well worth the money. I had the continental breakfast and my husband had the cooked breakfast. There was a lot of choice and both breakfasts were delicious. It is about an eight minute walk to the terminal which we did easily with luggage, we would have got a taxi if the weather had not been good. X

Typically Premier Inn, which we're big fans of. Checked in at the kiosk. No staff anywhere in sight. Checked out by dropping our card in the box. No staff anywhere in sight again. We went to the bar about 9.45pm and they'd stopped serving food. Our flight got cancelled so we were at the PI late so this was very disappointing. Others in the bar seemed to be ordering from Domino's! VERY noisy night, which disrupted both our sleep. And I'm a heavy sleeper. Walls and floors sounded like they were paper thin. Continental breakfast was very good although their coffee machine must've needed serviced. Location is perfect for the airport.

Really helpful staff on reception and easy check in. I was disappointed that even though the bit of cardboard on our door didn’t say ‘DND’ - no one cleaned the room and claimed it was due to Covid? However I’d stayed in a different premier inn the night before and they had cleaned the room? Another note was the breakfast, my other half got me a glass for some juice and it had lipstick stains all over it (obvs not cleaned) and the bacon didn’t taste all that great.

Great hotel in a great location, staff are brilliant rooms are very clean which is a credit to the house keeper's and the beds are amazing, and to top it off, the breakfast is superb, credit to the kitchen and waiting staff. This is a fabulous hotel. Recommend.

Stayed here many times... this is the first time I've been disappointed... lovely friendly Staff but the food was awful, Dinner and breakfast.... and we didn't sleep on the second night with noise from other guests from 4am. Room was very comfortable and all the Staff were really lovely... its the kitchen that let the Premier Inn down, this time.

  • 5/5 John C. 1 year ago on Google
Staff were excellent food was lovely.Bus at the door to Airport and city centre. Will definitely stay here again. Cab will cost under 20euro to Liverpool one from the hotel.

  • 2/5 Helena D. 1 year ago on Google
The room was satisfactory, breakfast was nice, staff were nice but I had to give it a 2 based on 2 things that happened. First was that I opened up the sealed spare pillow cases which had stains on them and they smelt like greasy hair. The 2nd thing was that my daughter used a towel, patted herself down while the towel was still folded as she opened it up her faced changed as she turned the towel round there was several skid marks on it. 100% poo and I wasn't going to smell it to clarify. Absolutely unacceptable. Staff were apologetic but nothing could really fix that.

The room itself was fine, no frills but clean. We stayed on a Saturday night and there is a community hall next door, music blaring til gone 12 and the people above us sounded like they were trying to come through the ceiling. Awful night's sleep. Stayed for dinner, food was ok. Never asked if we needed refills on drinks or asked if we wanted desert. Waitress generally rude won't be staying again.

  • 2/5 Mark B. 1 year ago on Google
Seemed very short staffed with long waits for the bar. Rooms were great and clean. Car parking confusing with parts of our group told different things. Overall this could be a great hotel but the lack of staff ruined the experience.

  • 2/5 Jarret H. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip. Unfortunately my rooms electrics had issues when the above room was using their shower. Asked to move and was told nothing else was available and to wait until tomorrow. Asked again the next day and was frustrated to be told the same thing. On the final night I was moved to the room next to mine and walked in to a flooded bathroom. I was then moved again to an acceptable room. Parking, while not controlled by the hotel, is very pricey. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel.

  • 1/5 Alexandre B. 1 year ago on Google
Staff is fine. The big issues with this hotel are: - need to pay extra for parking! - need to pay extra for decent wifi (free wifi is ok for texting but that's all) - no bottles of water in room - no tissues in room, have to use toilet paper...

  • 5/5 Gareth P. 2 years ago on Google
Cheap rooms nice and clean friendly helpful staff and nice food the only downside is that you have to pay £5.00 for parking for 24 hrs

There should be softer pillows, thiner duvets available as thick, warm duvet=sweating at night even with open window.
