Eaten here a couple of times now, and both times, it was absolutely lovely. Food was great, service was quick and very friendly. Also stayed here for a few nights too. Rooms are comfy and surprisingly quiet to say how busy it can get downstairs! Really good value, well worth a visit if you're in the area

The waitress was polite and jovial. Polenta was crunchy as over fried. The supplini de telefono balls were okay, bit bland. The Calamari was itself cooked well but bland. Cannelloni was bland. Zero atmosphere. Very long wait for a Β£4 coke. The communication of management and staff was sub standard. Over priced menu. We were made to feel awkward when handed a Bill. They had no clue we had a manager goodwill gesture, assured over three phone calls to rectify a prior poor experience. Will not go again.

Nice place and friendly staff. Pesto serves Italian tapas all day. Very tasty, very good selection of wines and drinks. Desserts were nice but very small for the price - like tasters.

3nts bed and breakfast plus large family meal on Saturday. Large bedroom, not flash but comfortable and clean. PESTO was marvellous, enormous selection of delicious small servings, all Italian. Service in restaurant excellent

Great place over all, food and ambience is lovely, been twice and had the Italian 'tapas' small plates menu which is excellent value. 3 dishes for between Β£10-13. I have a good appetite and couldn't consider desserts. Reasonable bar, I'm a real ale fan and the hobgoblin is good. Service can be on the slower side, nothing problematic but if you are in a hurry plan accordingly. Well worth a visit.

Nice setting staff are friendly. Food takes a long time to come and service time for drinks can vary from quick to a long time . Expensive for what it is but food is good quality, a little on the rich side for my liking.

I came here for food and it was excellent. We ordered sporadically from the menu but the staff applied the 3 plates for x amount to the bill for us! Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food was great and it was nice being able to sample multiple things off the menu!

Food was average. The pork belly meet was tough and over cooked and fat was pretty much not existent and definitely not crispy. Carbanara had no seasoning in and on the dry side. Calamari was again on the tasteless side. I've heard really good stuff about Pesto. I know that it was a very busy time, so kitchen staff may have been overrun. I will definitely go again to see if it's any better.

Great selection of food is an ideal place if you don't know what you want to eat. You can have a bit of everything. I think it is an efficiently run chain restaurant with a personal independent feel and quality to it. We didn't book and we were seated straight away. It can get very busy here when the offers are on and the car park usually spills out onto the road. Staff are very friendly and attentive. There are plenty of staff too. Food is always great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Food good as always however would love to see return of some more salads. Service excellent as staff are attentive without hovering over your shoulder. We were served by Julieann who was wonderful. Parking can be a little difficult as car park is only small

We didn't book in advance as it was a last minute decision, it was very busy when we arrived but we was seated very promptly. Service was quick. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Food was absolutely amazing. As the fussy vegetarian in the group even I found the variety of vegetarian dishes adequate. Plenty to pick from. Even more if you eat meat. Food came piping hot and delicious.

Had dinner here a few times. Tapas style restaurant but pizzas and British food as well as. Had a nice dinner, good staff, nice atmosphere and at a decent price.

Called in here for so.e lunch and what a surprise. Our server was very pleasant and polite. We opted for the tapas menu Β£11.99 for 3 dishes. There was plenty of choice, and the food was not a disappointment. We had 6 dishes between 2 of us, and this was most sufficient. The choice of desserts was good, and portions were plentiful. I would highly recommend a visit here.

I cannot thank the staff here enough for everything. I was staying the evening before a funeral, was an emotional wreck after a long journey to a place I’d never been before and had forgotten some important things I needed for the next day. They could not have been any more amazing, the kindest people, they sorted everything. In addition to the hospitality the food was superb and our room for the night was clean, cosy and comfortable. I’ll certainly stay again when I visit for a yearly anniversary for my friend. Thank you so much to the staff on duty on Monday 2nd October xx

Awful experience will never go there again. We asked for them to ring us a taxi and they refused said it was managers discretion. We are in our early 70s not rude or abusive normally walk but was very tired. This has happened before afterwards I was told that they will always ring taxis but clearly inconsistent. I would have thought that no restaurant would alienate their customers in these challenging times. We normally eat there about 25 times a year but not again.

A lovely pub/restaurant setting with a country atmosphere, the staff are friendly, polite and more than attentive. The food is incredible, the choices on the menu is fantastic and vast. Would highly recommend Pesto's, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Tasty tapas style italian food. The scallop & prawn dish had very little seafood in it and scalding hot so no flavour left but our other dishes were nice. It's a decent enough place for a group of friends to eat at and the food is good but it's definitely frozen or delivered pre-made, it isn't freshly made on site. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our meal and the service is fab. I'd absolutely go again but I'd give the expensive dishes a miss as you're not getting a value with those.

We had a group of six attend on a Saturday evening. No wait to get in. We ordered about 15-20 different tapas and desserts as there was many good options. The bruschetta funghi was by far my favourite- this ugh everything was excellent. The virgin mojito was excellent as well.

Warm and cosy restaurant although it's quite big. Service was brilliant and the food was just as good. Had a tapas type sharing meal but will be back to sample a main meal each next time.

We had a great meal and we were spoilt for choice. However we all (four of us) all selected something different, one of our group is a vegetarian and she was amazed at the choices she had. When the dishes arrived all well presented. Average cost per person was Β£20.00 each, and we had four dishes each. All very good, could not fault. Our server Charlotte was the best, she will be missed when she starts her travels.πŸ‘πŸ‘

A little bit out the way Italian style restaurant with a good atmosphere, lovely staff & great food. Our second time here & just as good as our last visit. We ordered from the Lunch again, which has a very good variety of dishes to choose from & very good for sharing. Choice of three items from either the Β£9.99 or 11.99 menu. Food is all freshly prepared, well presented, tastes amazing & hot. The wine & Aperol Spritz where both reasonable priced. Would recommend & revisit.

It was my first visit here since it became a Pesto restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent, attentive but not overly, the food was delicious and the setting is very comfortable. I will certainly dine here again.

Poor food quality. Bread stale and meals either tasteless or over-seasoned. Nowhere near the 5* standard of Pesto at the Yacht

I love this place and have been several times recently, I keep suggesting it to friends for meeting up and they have all agreed it's fab. Lovely food, good portion size, excellent value and great friendly service. I'm sure I'll be back again very soon. They also do takeaway, breakfast and allow dogs. What's not to love about this place

Had dinner here; really not bad at all, but it's a bit expensive for the actual quantity of food that you get. The principal upsides were that the service was excellent, and the entire restaurant was as clean as a whistle.

We were taken here by local friends when we were visiting from Sheffield this weekend. We had breakfast both days and dinner on Sunday evening. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience, both the quality of food and the superb service. A real gem of a place 10/10 xxx we will be back x

This is lovely inside with great staff, service but I chose badly my tapas was dry and dull. But my 2 friends enjoyed theirs so I think I just did myself wrong, with it all. Average prices don't buy water it's 4 pounds !! Ask for tap style

Oh my what can I say about the food and service apart from absolutely 5 stars. Possibly one of the best places I have been and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Very reasonably priced as well so not one of those places so stuck up with their own self importance that feel that they can charge Β£70 for a slice of toast with some patΓ© on it. Try the dark chocolate desert. It's to die for. A+++++++
