Mixed emotions. I was in room 3 and it was relatively difficult to get to, but is was really nice and clean. Linens were fresh and TV remote was clean and well renovated. Definitely up standard to other Premier Inns. Technically though other story. Only a trickle of warm water coming out of the sink tap and black mold in the bath. Breakfast was also definitely under standard and not worth the money. The whole breakfast area was not cleaned, sticky tabletops, sticky chairs, dirty cutlery and fingerprints on coffeemaker and dispensers. Only to be toped by boss lady server. Bossy and unhelpful. Sorry doesn’t reflect the good ratings.

We used to live in the area and were there for three nights. Room was exceptionally clean and sleep was great. Meals were good value for money. All staff were helpful.

One of the older hotels and it shows. Staff are lovely but the building is falling apart and the rooms are dated. Also very close to a motorway and you can hear it all night.

To be honest one of the cleanest hotel ever stayed in room was spotless and quiet, was a little difficult to find tho but asked reception where 1-6 rooms are located. In overall well satisfied with all. They have a pub that closes at 11pm did manage to have a cheeky pint before closing. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again 👌🏼

Went to the brewers fayre for a meal. They have a great selection of food at a reasonable price. If you're in the area, pop in. Also, join the brewers fayre bonus club earn points to get money off

Stayed twice. Staff really nice and helpful. Building a little tired on the outside. Could do with a revamp. Perfectly placed for Chester Zoo and attractions.

The interior of this Premier Inn is great and in really good condition. However, the exterior of the hotel looks run down, with rotting timbers, rusty gutters and the exterior render badly needs a lick of masonary paint. The hotels main sign that faces the car park is so covered in mould and filth it's probably damaging to the hotel chains brand! I don't understand why this hotel is great inside but looks so poor outside.

A great Premier Inn as expected. Outside does look a little shabby but inside is up to the usual Premier Inn standards. Warm room and comfortable bed. No EV charging available, in case you’re wondering. Handy for Chester, 20 minutes down the road.

When checking in paid £9.99 for buffet breakfast. When I arrived in restaurant for breakfast was told there was no buffet, quite disappointed as didn’t really have time to wait for a fresh cooked meal. Other than that nice and quiet hotel, slept like a baby on a really comfortable bed.

Staff behind bar more interested in talking to locals than serving, went to get a coffee refill and was told you can go in the restaurant next door and refill yourself. To which I replied I would have done if I had been told when I got my first cup. Then asked how long was the wait for meals (last time I had waited 45 mins)she didnt know as she had only been on duty 15mins, not many in shouldnt be long, waited 40 mins. No interaction or apology delay. Staff in past have been good but felt this lady didnt want to be there.

Usual Premier Inn. Consistency is the word here. Overall the room was as it should be. Wifi worked. Service was quick and friendly. Only complaint I had was I was above the dining area and at 6.50am I heard a load of chairs and tables being moved which was annoying, but then my alarm was set for 7am anyway so bonus 10 minutes I suppose. View wasn't great from the room either. Looking down onto the bins, but it's a Premier Inn in Birkenhead, not the Ritz. Breakfast good and service excellent. Can't moan really 🙂 I'd stay here again if needed.

worse premier inn i have ever been. noisy room if you keep the windows open and smells of food comes in. breakfast was dried bacon and left over sausages from previous day or early morning. coffee matchine was broken too. there was absolutely nothing to like about this place. i will never go there again.

I bought a room late at night as plans changed last minute. Very cheap considering the quality of the room and service and the time I bought the room. If I'm ever in the area I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The attached restaurant had a pool table which was fun too.

Stayed 1 night, the receptionist was very obliging. The rooms were well appointed and a super comfy large bed. Convenient location and reasonably priced. The breakfast was fabulous.

Fantastic staff. Room was nice and clean. Good price, great breakfast, only let down by the fact it was a bit noisy.

Stayed here over the weekend and it's a very clean and nice hotel. We left my 3 month old sons Teddy bear in the room by mistake. Rang them up and they have posted it back to us Free of charge even after us offering to pay for it, I can't thank them enough. I didn't get the gents name who whent out his way on his day off to post it but thank you so much. Very happy with the customer service and hotel.

A Fantastic experience in an absolutely wonderful Hotel and accompanying Bar and Restaurant. We had a lovely warm welcome and the room was beautiful. The cleanliness was Spotless and facilities were in excellent. Car parking was extensive and I was able to secure a disabled access space close to the reception entrance. The staff were inviting, helpful and made us very welcome. We made use of the restaurant facilities during the evening and the Menu was ample with plenty of choices. The food was of excellent quality , served hot and tasted fresh. The drinks were inexpensive for an Hotel and there was a great choice. I discovered a new red wine that was spectacular and again choices of other beverages on offer were excellent. I will definitely be staying again and highly recommend it. A lovely warm and cozy experience throughout. A Credit to All the Management and their Staff Team. 5 Stars well deserved. Thank You for making Our stay so pleasant.

The room was to the usual Premier Inn standard, clean and comfortable, however the ridiculous policy of only 2 adults per room particularly in a credit crunch means that we will be going down the Air B&B route in future. How crazy is it that it was expected that a 16 year old can't book a room for themselves but would be expected to go in their own room despite there being an empty bed in our room. Goodbye Premier Inn, nice knowing you!

Noise from the fan of the kitchen plus the smell of the kitchen lasted from 6 45 am until 11 pm the outlook was shameful. The rooms very pokey and the carpet needed changing. Early in the morning from 6 am lorries were unloading beer and we could not rest. We were there for a holiday what a disgrace. I am bewildered how people give this in. great write ups. We were told our tiny room was one of the largest which I must say I find hard to believe. We have stayed at premier in constantly especially for holidays but this was unsuitable to be let as far as we were concerned. Premier inn are aware and no way should we have been charged. The room was very dark extremely hot and we overlooked old staircase and disgusting guttering ready to fall down and it needed replacing. We complained but nothing was done only an apology which meant nothing. It was not clean I went around with a cloth around the skirting in the bathroom and it was dirty.

Besides being on a busy road we had a great stay, the road isn't that noisy to be totally honest. The rooms where clean, beds comfortable with spare pillows. Breakfast was good. Staff where polite, courteous and very helpfull. Especially the guy who checked us in Steve I think was his name, his level of service far exceeded what I expected from Premier Inn

😠 Did not want to leave review here, but with the way they’ve handled everything I have to. Because I’m gutted. Filthy hotel. There was a roach in bathroom. We booked breakfast 8.30am to be told 9.40 they forgot to put the order though. Told us they’ll refund us as we left with out eating and still No...
