Very handy location and all staff are beyond lovely - they're so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and all have TVs, free water, tea and coffee facilities and air con. I think a hairdryer was available but I didn't find it in the room so I guess I had to ask for it, but I went without and that wasn't a problem. The hotel is up some stairs so it's not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We were completely forewarned about the music from the bar downstairs which I really appreciated. I wore my earplugs but it still took me a long time to sleep - that said, over my 3 night stay I got more used to it and started to sleep better. My 3 year old daughter didn't notice the noise at all! Good value hotel in a really central location, and I'd happily return.

This has a central location, which is both positive and negative: many places of interest are in easy walking distance but we found it noisy, with music from nearby bars playing late into the night. It's ideal for stag / hen parties but less so for a family stay. We visited over a weekend, which might have contributed to the party atmosphere. All the staff members we met were friendly and professional (5 stars for them). The room was clean and attractive but if you'd like a cuppa, bring your own kettle.

Hotel and staff brill. However music blasting from nearby bars until 4.30am is ridicoulas.

If you want a good night's sleep, don't stay here. It's as simple as that. The bed may as well be on the dancefloor of the bar beneath it. There is currently a less than average club singer, killing a range of tracks and with the speaker vibrations also coming through there is no chance of sleeping. My advice: avoid at all costs (especially with kids). If you do come, bring ear plugs, although tbh I'm not sure they'd be much help.

Very satisfied of our stay! We booked quite a bit ahead for an excellent and low price. The quality however was amazing! The hotel is tidy clean and provides you with all basics. The rooms are even relatively large imo. The bathroom is very modern and clean as well. The location is superb as well. The only downside I could think of is a bit of noise, I personally like the ambiance and the windows are closable and there's earplugs against noise if you need so.

We are a middle aged couple and like to eat, drink, be merry and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Location is great right in the heart of the action. Reception are friendly and very helpful, rooms are very clean and have air condition and a great shower. Beds very comfortable and lots of space although we did have a room with a double and bunk beds. Walk down the stairs and you are in to the Irish bar with live music 7 days a week. Eateries are plentiful as are the bars on your doorstep. Reception advised us to get a 2 day open top hop on hop off bus tour as it included a river cruise along the mersey. At £22 each it was a bargain and we took full advantage and saw plenty of the city. If there were one consideration to think about I'd say be aware you are above a bar and the music goes on into the night. That being said we were on the first floor directly above the bar and although we could here the tunes we had no trouble drifting off. We are definitely staying there again. Word of warning... dont get tempted to stay at the Adelphi, yes its a bit cheaper and it looks grand but its awful according to guests we met on the tour bus.

The room was spotless and modern and the staff were very helpful. It was close to all amenities and it was a lovely walk down to the docks. There was some noise from the pub underneath but it was turned off at a reasonable time and we all had a good nights sleep.

Excellent location in the heart of all the bars and eateries and the brilliant shopping centre right on the doorstep.Young lady on reception was kind and helpful , room was modern and spotlessly clean. If you have mobility issues I'd ask for a lower floor as we had 3 flights of stairs to climb. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return without a doubt.

I stayed for a few days with my brother towards the end of march 2023. We were both impressed at how central and close it was to everything in Liverpool. The hotel had a few restaurants and all the amenities close to it. Transport links were excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. One lady personally did our room gave us extra toilet rolls and extra towels. The room was very well presented, I liked the fact they put free bottles of water, and provided plenty of supplies to make loads of cups of tea. The only downsides were the stairs as u enter hotel or go in esp for those with mobility issues and the beds were a little narrow as me and my brother are big guys. But overall a excellent experience, would definitely book again sometime x

Clean and perfect for what we needed. Not much space in the room for 6 of us too get ready but with the price we paid we wasn’t expecting too much. Great place too crash and go and enjoy Liverpool.

Couldn't be positioned any more central to the town if you tried, good attentive staff, nothing too troublesome for them, our room was comfortable, maybe steps on arrival could be awkward to some, we were forewarned and even with my wife not being agile she was able to use them two or three times a day, music may be loud for some from the bars adjacent but it didn't bother us and we managed to sleep in the comfortable bed, many thanks to the kind attentive staff who are a credit to this hotel!!!

Very good hotel, room was spotlessly clean, good size room, staff very friendly and helpful. It's located in the centre, it can get loud during night time, as there are pubs and clubs around the hotel. I would still recommend it, it's quite cheap.

Although the room itself was nice there were no windows in the room. There was a disclaimer on the website saying that live music will be playing in the pub below until 2am which was fine. However on the second night the music went on until 6am! Which I was not prepared for. When talking to the reception staff about this she claimed that this was a last minute decision made by the manager to let the band have an after party, but when looking into it further their Facebook page was advertised that the band will extend their gig until 6am. We wouldn't have minded if we had some notice of even if the receptionist was just honest with us. I would not be returning here again as the crowd of drunken men Infront of the entrance was also off putting along with the LOUD music. What was even more insulting was the fact that they didn't even use our correct name!

Clean modern room, excellent friendly staff providing professional service. Very noisy in a vibrant lively part of the city

The hotel is really easy to find, right opposite the train station, on a local bus route, right on the door step of the city center, carpark is local and cheap, the hotel staff were lovely, the hotel and room was clean and spacious, basic but modern. It was just me and my partner, we had requested a room for two with a double bed, and received an email to confirm that was what we were getting instead we got a room for 4 (2 single beds and a bunk bed) not to much of an issue as we just pushed the beds together, there was not coffee making facilities which I was disappointed by. We stayed on a busy bank holiday Saturday night, and our room was situated right above the very busy loud pub below, but after 2am it became nice and quiet, so try not to get these rooms if you want a decent night's sleep!!

The room is very good (we had double bed and 2 bank beds), clean, confy. The only problem is that the hotel is above a bar and there can be noise - we had the misfortune to hit the football final and we didn't sleep until about 3am.

Horrific Hotel. Avoid at all costs. Music playing loudly until 6am and management were aware that this band were in town to play prior to the event and none of the guests were notified. I was staying with my sisters and 6 year old nephew who had no sleep at all. When we complained the next morning we were lied to and the staff told us they were unaware that the band were playing until 6am however their Facebook page said otherwise. Really poor customer service. Wouldn't recommend especially if you are with a family and have young children.
