Pollards
Inn
was
good
value
for
money.
Hotels
in
the
area
are
generally
much
more
expensive.
It
is
situated
in
a
good
spot,
not
far
from
the
main
road
from
Chester
to
Hoylake.
It
is
set
in
the
middle
of
a
really
nice
little
village
with
some
nice
easy
short
walks
to
exercise
off
your
breakfast
at
the
Inn.
Breakfast
was
good.
A
choice
of
cereals,
juice,
coffee
or
tea
and
a
full
English.
Served
in
the
conservatory.
Nice
to
eat
with
a
garden
view.
Decor
of
the
pub
nice.
The
rooms
were
comfortable.
I
wouldn't
go
as
far
as
saying
the
rooms
were
the
height
of
luxury,
but
good
enough.
Good
for
a
night
or
two's
stay.
The
bed
was
comfortable.
The
floor
was
very
creaky,
but
it's
an
old
building
I
guess.
The
heating
was
easily
altered
by
changing
the
radiator
thermostats.
Apart
from
breakfast,
we
didn't
eat
at
the
hotel,
but
it
looks
like
it
might
have
been
nice.
We
didn't
suffer
with
noise
from
the
pub
at
all.
The
pub
appears
to
be
dog
friendly
and
there
was
a
dog
bed
in
the
room
despite
not
having
a
dog.
I
think
it
would
be
a
nice
touch
to
get
rid
of
this
for
people
without
dogs.
It
was
a
bit
weird.
Big
car
park.
We
couldn't
get
the
key
to
work
in
the
front
door
of
the
pub
the
night
we
stayed,
but
luckily
there
was
still
someone
still
on
site
who
answered
the
door
and
let
us
in.
