Great location for flights out of Liverpool Airport. The room was very comfortable, including air conditioning, which was welcomed as the UK was having a heat wave. It was disappointing that we were not advised at the time of booking (the same day as arrival) about the breakfast issues! Other than that we had a great night's sleep and pleasant stay.

Clean room. Food was good for the price. Excellent for a one night stay for late or early flights. Never used before but definitely will again. Saves friends picking me up a late night or early morning. No problem booking online very easy direct with hotel.Check in after 2pm and check out at 11am good times.

Absolutely shocking!!!! £100 for the stay a additional £50 on arrival for holding deposit and additional £10 for parking!!!! The bed was rock solid, the room smelt like sewers, there was stains on the sofa! The shower went from hot/cold to warm the boiling hot to the point of burning my partner! On arrival we stopped outside as I see the sign for parking stating 24 hours £42!!! When we parked up and called the number the lady said well you don’t need to stay 24 hours! When we decided we had no other choice but to enter the story car park walked into the hotel I expressed myself to the man on reception who was very abrupt and said you have been given wrong information it’s £10! Still a unexpected charge! The air conditioning unit went warm/cold doesn’t do the job correctly! My partner actually slept on the floor! The bed was that hard! The food! Well don’t even get me started! This is a huge huge let down! I expected it to be good being Hilton but avoid!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was really clean and felt comfortable. The bathroom offers a choice of shower or bathtub and the shower is quite powerful. The only thing I can pick at really was not knowing the parking isn't free. You get a discount but it's still an unexpected extra £10.

Stayed here for one night just before early morning flight. No food consumed at hotel. Summary: Location - A short bus or taxi ride from Liverpool South Parkway Railway Station (15 minutes). Perfect for air travellers. Liverpool/John Lennon Airport just across the road. Hotel lobby to Departures in 2 minutes. Room - Clean and plenty of space. More than adequate for one night. Tap water was not drinkable during stay due to maintenence work in progress. Not a problem as hotel provided complimentary bottled water. No problem with airport noise. Service - Friendly & courteous staff.

Excellent location - literally in the airport. Stayed here with me 3 sons, really took the hassle out of our travel. Easy to get in/out of Liverpool from here, there’s bus connections and you’re right beside the car hire depot too. Breakfast starts here at 4am (6am for cooked breakfast) which is really good for early departures. The staff were excellent - Becca at reception handled all of our requests immediately.

The room was fantastic, a great size, and had everything that you required. The location is ideal, especially if using the airport. I was expecting to have a pretty restless night due to the planes taking off and landing, but this couldn't be further from the truth as I didn't hear a single plane. The staff in general were friendly and polite. However, not much was explained, such as parking, breakfast, etc, you had to ask these questions. My main gripe with the hotel was a £50 deposit was requested on arrival, which wasn't an issue. Both myself and the other person I was travelling with had no issues with paying this, as we were informed it would be returned when we leave. This has not been the case, and still on my credit card as a pending transaction two weeks later. Neither of us have had the deposit returned, even though the rooms were left spotless and the money wasn't deducted for anything else, such as room service, drinks, etc. Would I use this hotel again? I'm not so sure.

Friendly staff and clean spacious rooms. Perfect for a night's stay before flying early the following day. Parking easily accessable and free for Diamond members.

It's expensive but ok, more because it was close to where I needed to be for work. The rooms are spacious but I unfortunately had a room where one of the lights wouldn't switch off (or I obviously didn't find the right switch). The bed has a nice firm mattress, but cheap bedding. The sheets were flimsy and there was a blanket rather than a duvet and the pillows were more dilapidated 10yr old cushions than pillows. So, I didn't have the most comfortable night's sleep. There is parking at the hotel, but this is chargeable via the multistory car park. The breakfast, despite arriving 5 mins after hot food was available, wasn't warm and tasted like it had been standing for a while. Overall, this was handy for where I needed to be for work, but was very expensive for a place that looks tired and cheap.

The location is just perfect 2 mins walk to aiport for check in. Only stayed 1 night but the hotel has standard rooms and very clean. Reception staff were really friendly and make you feel welcome there. Provided us free snack 😋

A good hotel with a convenient location. We ordered food, paid, and then it turned out that it was not available, but the money was returned. The room is clean but there is no usb port for those who traveling from Europe.

Great rooms, clean and nice views over Mersey. However, breakfast was terrible - the hotel was undergoing an overhaul (or was damaged and cordoned off) so 3/4 of the breakfast seating was closed off. It was absolute mayhem in the morning, the staff weren't helpful or sympathetic and the food on display was gone before you could pick your plate up. People were sitting on the floor or standing and there were people using the seating area to wait in too. I wouldn't come back here until the seating area has been resolved

Convenient for airport and for a short stay, but very basic hotel, and limited dinner menu. Basin tap not working properly, and low shower flow. Taxi ordered by hotel did not turn up, although not directly the fault of the hotel.

One of the worst staff , never seen so rude staff , Not helpful at all . Reception/customer care is worst and these type of people should not be given any place in Hospitality world. I do not have option to give NEGATIVE stars otherwise this hotel would be on TOP form BOTTOM Ranking . Payment for Online booking for Hilton in was deducted even after my cancellation ( had Covid) , Staff was so rude and unreasonable . not ready to listen anythng.

Cost £175. Room smelled musty very basic no dressing gown. I had to rush to this hotel as my lift to the airport let me down. The first staff member we met was not too helpful and a bit standoffish this what I would expect from a cheap hotel maybe. No water in room. I have stayed in budget hotels that supply drinking water this is a basic budget hotel so not expect any more. You even gave to pay a £50 charge in case you order room service or extras but can't see any extras. I would rather stay out of the area than this hotel. The premier in unfortunately was fully booked. I have stayed in both Hilton's abs premier in but now as bad as this. I would say avoid further inspection bed ooorly made and rip in duvet cover definitely only worth about £50 not £175 edited further cannot get to sleep as mattress awful. It is hard and.feel like I am falling off it. The pillows are very soft 3 just about gives lift. The fourth pillow is cushion size not pillow size and the mattress protector worn and old. I was offered another room but told they are all the same so it is really pointless. I have put two stars because it is in the right location for the airport. I don't know if Hampton is the poor man's Hilton but I will never stay in one again. I had a stressful day and now a stressful night

Staff are very helpful, no matter what hour. You are next to the airport, however you cannot hear anything when in the room. Rooms are very spacious.

  • 4/5 Laura W. 11 months ago on Google
Not as clean as u’d expect, room hasn’t been properly hoovered & stuff left in the shelves in the bathroom behind the towels, also the bathroom fan was thick with dust (lumps of built of dirt visible, pretty disgusting) Bathroom also has a really strong musty / damp smell. Struggled to find check out time while in the room, not easily found on the website or in any area in the room. £12 per night parking fee for guests. Breakfast was really good, staff are very very nice and really welcoming and friendly. Would stay again but won’t be my first choice around the airport. For early flights the location is ideal.

Though located at the airport it was very quiet in the room. Breakfast was good and meals are available for purchase which was good because no food delivery company delivered to the hotel.

I have stayed in a few Hiltons. This was the worst, there was nothing for Hilton Honour members, the surfaces was covered in dust mostly in the bathroom. The breakfast was only continental until 6am then you could have a cooked one. Not very good for people whose flights with check in before six. The location is great and the staff were friendly and answered any questions.

  • 3/5 Csilla B. 1 year ago on Google
TLDR: The rooms were sizeable, the breakfast was alright (if you get there early), and the location is great as it's right next to the airport/bus stops. However, the amenities and service (while friendly) do have room for improvement. Overall, way too expensive for what you get. Key issues: lack of local knowledge among concierge, privacy & safety concerns, no menstrual products at all, experiences/facilities will vary a lot from room to room. Details: I was there for business with some colleagues who shared a room, while I had one to myself. They had a much older TV than I did which was stuck on "hotel mode", so they couldn't connect any devices to it nor access as many channels as I could. I often travel for business so I am used to rooms having varying facilities, but it's still worth noting. They also had an issue with the cleaner entering their room despite the 'do not disturb' sign and discarding their food - while this got amended through free food from the hotel menu (which wasn't great), it was still disconcerting. As I had got in quite late due to travel delays, I didn't get a chance to go shopping before check-in. I called the reception to ask if they had any sanitary pads, to which the response was "I don't think so, but let me call you back". I waited about 30 mins before heading downstairs around midnight, where I had to wait longer for the concierge. He told me he tried to call but it seemed my phone was broken, and that there were no menstrual products in the hotel at all! Usually hotels will have something someone left behind. He then suggested I try going to a supermarket like Morrisons that "should be open late and it's just down the road". I went back to my room to put my coat on and did a quick Google maps search... Morrisons was a 25min walk away and, like all other shops in the area, long closed! Obviously I didn't go anywhere, I just laid down some towels. The whole ordeal was just frustrating and humiliating, especially as my colleague got a razor and a face towel with no issues.

The worst Hampton by Hilton hotel I’ve stayed in. Rooms are unwelcoming with outdated furnishings, poor maintenance and lazy housekeeping. My room had several broken items which housekeeping hadn’t thought of reporting. The whole place needs to be rennovated. I’ve enjoyed the free breakfast at other Hampton properties, but here it is bad. Most of the staff appear demotivated which is a sign of badly managed property. If it cost £50 a night my review wouldn’t be so critical, but for a similar price you will find better properties. The one plus point is that it takes about 2mins from the hotel reception to the terminal. It’s fine for one night, but you’ll be pleased to checkout.

Had a terrible experience at this hotel last week, which hotel management are refusing to acknowledge, and are trying to palm the blame off on to anyone but their own shortfalls. GLASS was served in my food, which I bit in to and swallowed, further glass was then found inside the food. The General Managers attitude has been appalling, demanding to see “medical evidence” instead of actually having concern around how the kitchen is run. I will never, ever, stay with this hotel again purely based on the handling of the incident, Samantha Stretton the GM is a disgrace and could have handled this professionally. Also when trying (and failing) to formally report the incident, I incurred £16 in call charges which they are also not offering to help with. Do not eat at this hotel!!

  • 4/5 Tim P. 2 years ago on Google
Generally a good experience. I only stayed one night, but the room was of a good standard; the reception staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was generous. The downside is the the car park. While it may not be the hotel's fault, as a guest I still had to pay an additional £4 surcharge to the taxi driver so he could enter the car parking area literally for a few seconds to drop me off. This stupid system only makes both the hotel and the airport look mean-spirited and that's bad for business.

Stay well clear of this hotel , no restaurant opened, Breakfast was a disgrace with the only hot food options been Sausage and Bacon. The safety bolt on the room door was broken. Customer service was also poor , left waiting 20-25 mins for a drink , don’t have enough staff , don’t expect a reply any emails you send as you will not receive one.

Either renovation or damage repair mwleant there were no public toilets and my colleague had to drive half a mile to use one, they wouldn't open up a room. When we asked for coffees they were very reluctant as only 2 of our party of 8 had stayed their that night and they were coming towards the end of breakfast service. When one wanted oat milk they looked as though we asked them to the meaning of life

Conditioner pump did not work. Suprise £50 damage deposit upon arrival, food left on hall way carpet all night. Staff friendly, ideal location to stay for early flight late arrivals

Stayed here in October 23, for an overnight stay before flying out on holiday. The hotel is now accepting more permanent residents such as homeless/drug users. These residents were roaming the corridors at night making a lot of noise and banging on doors throughout the night. This is not the atmosphere you would expect in a hotel associated with the Hilton Brand. There are reviews of a similar nature on trip advisor. That said, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the location so close to the airport is great, so if you are happy to put up with the above then the rooms are nice enough. I did complain and I did receive a refund, however I still think that other guests should be aware before booking, so they can make a choice.

  • 2/5 Andy W. 6 months ago on Google
We popped in for some drinks and food before check-in opened for our flights. The staff were great but the quality of the food was poor and very over-priced, and there were no customer toilets open. Next time will just go in the airport instead.

Perfect location for the airport. 25 min drive into centre of Liverpool. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast could possibly offer more choice, if possible, but appreciate staff and facilities on site might be an issue - no drama for myself. Car park on level 5 which was nice and safe, £20 for 24 hours.

Stayed here many times before but won't be back in a hurry. Even though we were warned about limited breakfast it was disgusting. Stale bread baps and dry cold bacon. Floor and surfaces dirty. Cleaners were vacuuming adjacent rooms at 7. 20am and continued even when asked to stop disturbing us. Disappointing this time.

  • 1/5 J 8 months ago on Google
If you like your breakfast, avoid at all Costs, the “hot” bit has burnt Cumbernauld sausages and rashes of bacon, that’s it !!!! Mould on the oranges, green bananas and out of date apples that’s are like sponge inside. I am only here for the location the rest is utter garbage !!!

  • 1/5 diane N. 6 months ago on Google
The closeness to the airport is this hotel's only plu, however the cigarette smell was so strong you could taste it as you tried to sleep, other guests actively smoking and heavily drinking in the halls. The complimentary breakfast was supposed to set us up for the day but mold discovered on our bread as we were already eating it was the end.

Great location if you’re flying out of Liverpool. The room was quite nice, clean, and comfortable, but the water in the shower never approached hot. Food options are seriously lacking. The young front desk staff worked very hard, but were responsible for too many duties—-checking people in and out, taking dinner orders, tending the small bar, and selling snacks and sundries. Certainly not a bad hotel, but it doesn’t feel up to Hilton standards.

What a gem, booked this to be close to some work in the area is right by the Airport departures but on the roof of the car park opposite Really easy to find, very well signposted on top of Multi-Storey and can park right out front. Can view departures from hotel and get the lift down to be outside there Car parking is £15 for each night car is left if you want to use it while having a short trip away Restaurant and bar on site (limited during refurb right now) Staff superb and helpful Ideal for stay before going away to extend the holiday a bit Took a while to realise curtains were not really thin but that window had a blind that can be pulled down! May have been tired when I arrived tho

Room was good bed a bit high but comfortable ,bathroom ok , tv decent size .Restaurant refurb still not completed ,Chickenburger dont bother spicy flavour and hot but chicken ? chips just about edible ,ditto other halves Panini , 3 curry options on the specials board , alcohol prices on the high side . breakfast choices very limited bacon sausage and toast comprise the hot option no good for vegetarians.Staff very efficient welcoming and friendly so i didnt moan about the food not their fault Would stay again but only if assured the restaurant was fully operational , the only food outlet open on the airport in the evening was Greggs .

Our first time flying from John Lennon. Booked interconnected rooms which worked great for me, my wife and two kids (3yrs / 12yrs). We know the food situation wasn’t great due to refurb work so we had dinner at a nearby Toby carvery before parking in the long stay. It location for us having a 5am check in was superb. 30 seconds walk to departures meant the kids had extra sleep. Despite the proximity to the airport we heard no noise despite watching aircraft land and take off. Good air con too. The breakfast situation was limited but we grabbed fruit, cereal bars and pastries to eat before security. Made our trip seamless and we paid £120 a room which seemed good value for the location.

Got to the room, the safe was broke and hand cream at the side of the sink was blocked, it was reported at reception and offered another room, but we declined because we had unpacked some things and didn't want the hassle. Had to contact reception again, ironing board wouldn't stay up! One was brought up to the room and changed. Went to get a shower and the shower head kept dropping down so we had to wedge it up with our face clothes, and the conditioner was blocked so that was an issue. I have to say the staff were lovely and location brilliant BUT you need to sort this as out in the rooms, the large mirror was dirty. Sorry but this is honest feed back, please also look at your menu, it is very poor.

  • 3/5 Dan W. 8 months ago on Google
Great location. Very basic and uninspired buffet breakfast included. Lift and the access is odd and includes two separate lifts to get to upper floors - unless parking on the top floor of the car park.

  • 1/5 Jason M. 2 years ago on Google
Where to start! Though most staff were great, it only takes one bad apple! Room smelt of the drains, realised at 1 in the morning how to solve the problem, the trap in the shower drain needed water in it. Strange stains on the ceiling, bed uncomfortable, room to hot and airless, even with air-con on minimum. If we weren't so tired on arrival we'd of asked for a room swap on the smell alone. I know some of these things are hard to rectify, but as with yourselves I work hard for what I earn and some cheaper hotels do it better!

The hotel is very convenient for the airport. Parking for the hotel is on the 5th floor of the multi story carpark. My partner and I felt the mattress was not of the quality you would expect at a hilton. I slept OK, but my partner had back ache. There is a small bar, prices were very high. £5 for a pint of lager. There was a small selection of food available, but no vegetarian options unless you had margarita pizza. There is no proper restaurant. Breakfast was not great. Strange bread, scrambled egg was strange ready made stuff. The bacon was ok. I tried the hot chocolate. It was way too sweet. The espresso was good. On a positive note, the staff onsite were really helpful and friendly.

Great service by the friendly and efficient team, spotless rooms and communal areas. Restaurant food poor from rock hard pannini to overcooked burgers, overpriced. £10 a night car parking IMHO opportunistic. The final straw, running out of beer!

Left a gold bracelet in room on little shelf above faraway bed. Alas said bracelet was NOT found. I knew exactly where it was so whoever cleaned the room has found said gold bracelet and kept it, as when phoned was informed it wasn't handed in. Very angry to say the least 😡😡😡

Booked 3 rooms for a family holiday as we departed very early the next morning. On arrival the Receptionist team were friendly, helpful and everything was clearly explained. Rooms were clean, and we had an excellent view of the airport. Well worth the stay and will certainly use again.

Just avoid this place unless you really have to stay somewhere close. Room 304 stunk of sewage due to the evaporated shower trap. Begs the question, when was the shower last ran??? Had to run the shower for 20 mins to be sure. Traps take weeks to evaporate. Receptionist tried to tell me it was intentional by design. I’m a plumber. Don’t try to kid me. Manager said it’s getting looked into as an issue. Imagine having to sleep in a room that stunk of sewage. We complained but at least we got an air freshener at 11pm. Took from 9pm to well after 10:30pm to get some bedding for the sofa bed. Sat in the room waiting to put my young kids to sleep wasn’t fun. The sofa beds are not sleep worthy, as confirmed by the receptionist. I, a 16st man, attempted to sleep on it because I couldn’t put my children through the discomfort of the sofa “bed”. The floor would have been a better idea. Receptionists weren’t very helpful. Offered free sweets and £8 for a poor nights stay. Laughable.

The room was spacious and tidy. But the breakfast was not good enough. They closed the restaurant's self service just at 10 am. I arrived at 9.30 am and the supply in the breakfast was reduced by the time. I requested for eggs but they said, sorry finished. It looked like any one came after 9.30 (may even earlier) for breakfast would be eating the left over by the early arrivers . The restaurant was open until 10 am for breakfast and they should keep the same standards throughout this time, I should have been treated equally. Also no complimentary water bottle was given in the room. I booked two rooms. No clear guidance was given about the car park payments system before booking.

I was staying on business and the hotel was really comfortable. The staff are great. The hotel is across the road from the airport but no sound gets into the rooms. The only fault I could find was the Aircon unit in my room made the occasional racket which was disconcerting but I am.sure maintenance will fix it. If you are flying out of Liverpool I would recommend staying. Short business trips are also recommended but not as a base for a holiday. All in all a very reasonable hotel.

  • 1/5 Nicole F. 1 year ago on Google
Where to start?! The staff on the front desk are rude, combative and disrespectful. The room had a dirty bathroom with black hairs all over the shower, the toilet had a permanent stale urine smell coming from it & the towels smelled like they had been cleaned in a dirty oven. The bed was awful, it felt like concrete slabs not a mattress, it is so bad i had to move and sleep on the sofa. The Air Con did not work on any setting, until the early hours of the morning when it made the sound of a spoon in a blender and carried on periodically. The only positive I could note is how spacious the room is.

Good points - position, if you are flying from John Lennon Airport, my room was spacious, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Not so good - the 'free breakfast' was poor, at 7am cooked food consisted sausages, beans, tomatoes and sorry looking hash browns. No bacon or eggs. There was white or brown bread but no marmalade, just a shared jar of strawberry jam and a bowl of honey. The cereal selection was mediocre. I have never seen a poorer breakfast buffet. Evening food was a poor selection of bar food.

After a long disappointing day at the airport we were relieved to be found rooms here. Perfectly located for the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and well decorated. Disappointedly however for me the bed was too hard and spoilt my sleep. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The coffee was perfect.

Perfect location, just across the road from the airport exit door. Reception is on the fifth floor and we were met by a delightful, warm, friendly receptionist. We had checked in online and had a digital key but needed a physical one for the electrics. The hotel was warm and gave a cosy feel in the bar/restaurant area. The chef and girl working behind the bar were welcoming and smiley the whole time. Thank you for making our overnight stay a pleasant one. CJ. And SJ

You could not ask for a closer hotel to the airport. The service ....was outstanding and I mean outstanding. Room was a little tired but clean and functional. Bed was firm and comfortable. Need drinking water in the rooms because you can not drink the tap water. Thanks though for one of the best customer service experiences I have had.

First of all if you are looking for a room and rest between 2 flights this hotel is excellent location, note that other hotels are available nearby. I found the room price slightly on expensive side and I think premier inn provides better value for money. On arrival also had to pay £50 refundable deposit for the bar and restaurant which I partially used up. I had chicken burger on the evening and only was OK, the breakfast wasn't as good as the one in premier inn. Would I stay here again? That depends, but would not be my first choice.

This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I'm sure! Brilliant location when using the Airport Fantastic Breakfast available from 4Am for the early travelers and included in the Room prices. Very good value for money

Service was brilliant. Staff are friendly and professional, responding helpfully to any request. The beds are a little hard and or shower has a slippery floor. Sound proofing is amazing and the air con works to cool the room, if a little more noisily than I'd like. The vegetarian menu is distinctly lacking but my husband liked the burger. The Mac and cheese was fine. Parking is right outside. Although the signs at the carpark entrance say £45, it is actually £10 with a card from reception. You pay that charge at the hotel.

The hotel in general was not what you would expect from a Hilton chain unfortunately. I stayed here a few years ago and loved it but it’s definitely gotten a little run down now. The bed/mattress was the worst part - it was so uncomfortable you could literally feel and hear every spring in the mattress when you so much as took a breath. I was honestly really surprised and disappointed because I really did expect better. I know without a doubt I would have gotten a much better night’s sleep at a much cheaper hotel chain. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. It’s unfortunate this hotel isn’t to the standard I know Hilton chain hotels to be and I won’t come back to this hotel again. The staff who I encountered were really lovely though so it’s unfortunate the hotel itself hasn’t been maintained well. It’s in a great location if you need the airport - that’s about the only good thing.

Rooms are reasonably clean. Though colleagues I stayed with reported bins not being emptied or rooms dusted for days on end. Dinner menu is reasonable, but one night there was no food available in the evening, and for several days after we waited 1hr+ for our orders to come.

I had an enjoyable stay here before an early flight. I arrived at 2pm and I was given an alternative room to the one I had picked due to it not being ready. The staff were friendly and genuinely interested in my upcoming trip away. The room was the same type as I'd picked but a floor lower, so I can't complain. The room was spacious and had all the usual amenities you could expect such as ironing board, kettle and TV. You can hear the odd rumble of planes taking off and landing but that is to be expected given the close proximity to the airport terminal - which is ideal for early morning flights. I had the continental breakfast at 4am and it was adequate enough with cereals, pastries, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juices as well as toast and waffle making facilities. Visitors should be aware of the mandatory £50 deposit for incidentals. If you don't spend it i.e. at the bar for a beer or meal, the money is refunded in about 5 days. Overall a pleasant stay and I'd return again without hesitation for my next trip from Liverpool Airport.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the ambience is relaxed. I didn't enjoy my experience of the restaurant - they had run out of my first choice, and what I did order took over 40 mins to arrive. The burger and salad looked (and tasted) like 3-day old discarded fare from a barbecue. The staff did give me a free drink although in honesty I would just have preferred a decent meal.

Having my flight cancelled at the last minute is distressing so to find this hotel right beside the airport able to accommodate me and also feed me was a great relief. Rooms are large and functional and restaurant, while limited menu wise, was perfectly adequate for dinner and a drink. Breakfast also included and really good. To top it all off the views are amazing! And only a 2 minute walk to the airport the next day.
