I visited this furniture shop today and was amazed at the personal, one-to-one customer service that I was provided with. Reg greeted me as soon as I entered the store and is possibly the best customer service advisor I have ever met. He was friendly, informative and couldn’t do enough to help me decide what product to purchase. He was so attentive and didn’t rush me at all. I was allowed to wander round the store and try several of the products at my own pace. I will definitely go away and think about the options that I have and return to the store to make a purchase as the customer service I received here is phenomenal. 5th April: Having visited this furniture store again today to follow up on my previous visit, I was immediately helped by Derek who was pleasant and polite and went out of his way to try and assist me with my query. Unable to solve my concern in store, he then contacted me twice by telephone after my visit and came up with a solution to my query. Again, I was really impressed with the dedication of the staff in the store and the customer service I received. Keep up the good work.

Excellent help and advice from Derek on choosing a leather suite for the first time with the various quality and colours of leathers available. Delivered on time with utmost care by very polite and professional lads. The suite looks amazing and so comfortable. I very highly recommend Jones the Furnishers Ltd.

My wife and I recently brought a chair and a three seater sofa from the store. We were greeted by Derek on our first visit, he talked us through the different choices we had but put no pressure on us to buy anything. he was very helpful, kind and really couldn’t do enough to help us with our purchase. Having received our furniture which we love we felt it necessary to recommend Jones the Furnishers to anyone who likes to receive good quality furniture and excellent customer service.

I would like to give a big thanks to Ian and Derek at Jones, i ordered a Parker Knoll sofa and 2 chairs and the material was faulty they both had to fight hard with Parker Knoll to get a replacement, this week i had my new sofa delivered by Jim and Des, who also did a great job, and i could not be happier, we have used Jones for many years and would recommend the excellent service, this is why we go to an individual retailer instead to the big stores. keep up the good work and thanks again Judith and Roger Tebbutt

Fantastic service from Derek at this store, he could not have been more helpful.Although we have decided not to purchase at this time for several reasons ( none to do with Derek) he was most gracious in his response to our email telling him that we had decided to put the purchase off. We knew of this place as my Mother had used them before, it is a fantastic store if you pop to a ‘Chain’ furniture shop and then go here you will really notice the difference. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m sure if I said can I sit for a couple of hours and read a book to test the sofa? Derek would say of course, and probably bring out tea and biscuits! When we do decide the time is right we will definitely return here.They also stock a wide variety of Brands and are very competitive on their price. On the Parker Knoll sofa we had gone in to look at initially they were cheaper than a ‘Chain ‘! I can only come up with 2 minor negatives, they do not offer any kind of purchase plan, but in this day and age it is easy enough to apply for an interest free credit card and if you have have issues with walking very far it can be difficult to park. ,

Excellent service when I visited the store today. Derek was extremely helpful and informative but with no pressure. I would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends. Can't wait to get my Stressless chair.

The customer service at this store is faultless! We bought a rather large footstool and were given every assistance in fitting it into the car - not easy :) I then enquired on another occassion about replacement cushions for my Duresta Sofa. Nothing was too much trouble for Derek down to checking sizes pricing and arranging and keeping me updated on delivery. Absolutely amazing customer service and I wouldnt go anywhere else for my furniture needs - brilliant!

I found the store easy to park at, the salesman (Derek) was very helpful and not at all pushy, and I had lots of time to consider my options. I didn't feel rushed into a decision. I bought a lovely sofa from the store, which I am very happy with. The delivery men were excellent and had a tough job getting the sofa in. I would recommend anyone to consider the store. It's nice to have some shops left that are not big chains.

Whilst Jones the Furnishers might not be situated on a prime retail park in a modern building, their quality products and professionalism should not be under-estimated - and certainly a worthwhile visit. We visited their showroom today and received a friendly welcome, with the greeting encouraging us to browse and that their help was available if needed. During our browsing we did approach Derek who answered all our questions and gave advice without being over-bearing - certainly a refreshing change from most salespersons. We selected a couple of sofas that met our requirements and again approached Derek to work out costings, which he did quickly, again without pressure. We were glad to place an order for a couple of Parker Knoll sofas and now look forward to receiving a call to arrange delivery in a couple of months. The slogan on their receipt couldn't be more accurate 'we hope to give you satisfaction which you expect from a family business where personal service is still important'.

Excellent service received from Jones so far. We dealt with Derek & Eddie and they made a great double act. They were both very thorough with checking and double checking as we had many aspects to our order. We were very pleased with the price and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Extremely polite and friendly and happy to use a local family business

We recently purchased a sofa, armchair and footstool from Jones the Furnishers. Derek and Ian were most helpful throughout the process, we highly recommend this company.

We bought a sofa from another major retailer and after waiting several months it arrived and had 5 different manufacturing faults. After a couple of months of emails and phone calls to the major retailer, we were at a loss as to what to do next. We went to Jones to ask advice. They were extremely helpful and we finally got our money back. We then ordered a different sofa from Jones which was delivered today. We dealt with Darren and Derek who went above and beyond to help us. Their customer service was outstanding and we would highly recommend them and Jones the Furnishers. Jim and his colleague who delivered the sofa were excellent and a credit to Jones.
