Very rude staff member questioned me about not shopping alone. I was with my mother and had good reason to be. I got told I had to leave and wait outside. Awful service and power happy staff! This was a middle/old aged chunky man and needs knocking down a peg or 1000!!! Power gone to his head. Will never return, even after this pandemic

A home goods store. Good selection of affordable Christmas ornaments and Decor. Also great selection of home decor, basic appliances and kitchenware. Small tool/home fixings section an pet section. I come here for art supplies as it’s cheaper here than at hobby craft. Parking is awful during peak hours and make sure you are parked in the appropriate parking designated for the Range otherwise you will get a £100 fine.

Bought a tube of electrical solder, which I hasten to add was not priced up, at the till got a bill for £4.99 about twice as much as you would normally pay. Got home tried to use it without any success. Have years and years of experience soldering, tried to solder a wire to a connector but after about half an hour decided to call it a day and went out to Wilco's and bought theirs. Couldn't have been more different after a couple of minutes job done. Wished I'd gone there in the first place instead of buying their rubbish.

Great stores, lots of choice for all over the home and garden. Picked up some gorgeous Easter bits and seen lots for home inspiration. Staff were very helpful and polite and the store is very clean with covid barriers still at check out. Very reasonably priced throughout.

Visited to purchase a particular item but sadly didn't, stock it .But we did buy other items we did require and at half the cost of another store and better quality yes staff most helpful and polite. You can only park upto two hours but it's enough time to do what you need such awesome variety of stock plus has a island store inside which was great we picked up some items for tea meal yes most definitely worth visiting and doing your shop .lucky for those who live locally but we will return as my dear wife has seen some items she needs .

Not a good experience on this occasion. Never complained about anyone or any company before. Needed to pick up bags of slate six in total which I have done in the past on many occasions doing our garden. Use the Range at least couple of times a month. This was for my elderly uncle. I parked directly outside and went in to ask if I could pay and load. Was told that I had to take all six bags into the stores by a member of staff who could have seen me loading. Two members at customer services both chatting and very dismisive. The sheer weight was ridiculous so had to do three at a time paying in two occasions. If it hadn't been for someone else and needed that day I would have told them to stick it. The girl on the till apologised and was lovely. Perhaps the two on customer service could learn a lesson or two from her. A member of the public actually helped me and said she had not been impressed with her experience. We all have bad days and rules etc to follow but this was ridiculous. They could have carried on chatting and watched me load my car instead I had to load twice and steer a trolly through the shop. I have put a review direct but no response. Rant over.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Asked 5 different members of staff about a specific item. 5 extremely vague and uninterested answers and zero effort to help us. Company should start paying their staff better and training them properly

A lovely pleasant place to visit, especially this time of year. We made a journey just to see their Christmas displays and decorations as they look really nice and great to walk around with little ones. The staff are friendly and helpful. An added bonus is having a small iceland inside for the hunger pangs 🤪

Although the selection of products was great the store itself was disgusting. Main walking aisle full of well overloaded crates, major health amd safety issue, and it was difficult to actually get around the store. When looking at certain good there wre no prices for certain items and even wrong items.

This is one shop I don't moan about when the wife says I just want to nip in here or can we pop in for some bits. I like all the range of the items they have but the freezer section is massively overpriced and sometimes they do have things blocking the isles but not all stores can restock at night or really early in the morning.

  • 3/5 Suzanne G. 6 months ago on Google • 43 reviews
Great products but a lot of things are not priced up, so you don't know how much things are until you get to the till. Also, they will not refund or exchange anything without a receipt and has to be within 14 days, which is far more restricted than most retailers, so worth noting.

Usual, slightly cheaper shopping experience, although I was getting a little tired of being in the way of the staff... Every aisle seemed to have a member of staff, re-stacking something, or further round the store, chatting away... Maybe I hit it at the wrong time, during work hours, as a few aisles blocked off with cages for re-stocking. I guess it saves time, doing it whilst the store is open, on this scale ? Seemed there were more staff, than customers....

Not to bad . Just went in for a look at some wall paper and it doesn't matter how good shopping from home is. When you can rip loads of samples off. Can't beat it.

  • 2/5 Karen R. 4 months ago on Google • 7 reviews
A good range of products and I do like the pictures/wall art & mirrors especially. Not perhaps as much as they used to have. What I do find at this store is the staff aren’t the best. Not really friendly no smiles or thank yous.

  • 1/5 Lexx L. 5 months ago on Google • 6 reviews
Like a jumble sale: nothing in any kind of order, nothing priced up (so it's pot luck until you get to the till), aisles filled with cages/promo ends, staff loitering and unhelpful (remember YOU are an inconvenience to THEM), till staff rude, always big queues. I avoid going at all costs.

Great deals, also got some ice land food in. Staff also helpful

  • 4/5 Anna C. 1 year ago on Google
Love this shop! Most of the time I end up in here for at least an hour looking at all of the sections. The queue can be quite slow sometimes. Their Christmas decorations are really good!

  • 4/5 Paula Y. 1 year ago on Google
At the moment some great bargains on hyacinth bulbs. Good sized bulbs too. Couldn't resist. Lots of Halloween stuff & gearing up for Xmas. Range of bird foods & treats. Certainly tons of stuff for cats, dogs, parrots & small mammals.

  • 4/5 Fahad H. 1 year ago on Google
Good bit of supplies. Great for arts and crafts! The collection of paintbrushes is amazing !! Hald of my kitchen is filled with their items! Good quality and good looking. The staff members at checkout counter could do with a bit of training on customer dealing. It is busy and overwhelming but doesn't give you the right to be rude for no reason. Not one but two such interactions sadly..

Great shop, Loads of varied stock from garden and pets to paint and paintings and everything in between, the only little detail I found was wrong was no prices on certain items, but overall its well worth going, the prices they do have are low too so plenty of money to save here.

I honestly used to love a monthly visit to the range to see what goodies they had in store but after my most recent visit, I left rather un-impressed by my visit. Now this was my first visit since the start of the pandemic but I didn't think covid would have such a bad effect on such a large store. My honest opinion, you would be better off going to B&M for your shop, I don't like to say it but one of my once favourite places to shop has really took a dive in the quality of product and selection on offer. Don't get me wrong, they do have some cracking little bits in at a good price but you have to be prepared to dig around the shelves to find it.

Got an iceland inside if your partial nice big shop pretty busy due to Christmas most likely

  • 1/5 Ricky A. 2 years ago on Google
Omg how disorganised is this shop, such a disappointing visit. I'm a fan of the range so thought I would visit my local one ( the range in Bournemouth is 100% better) the layout here is such a mess you would need a lot of time to look around everything. It's like they were in such a rush to open they didn't give anything a second thought. such a shame and not worth a 2nd visit

  • 4/5 Craig S. 2 years ago on Google
Good local store. Always plenty of everything you would visit The Range for

  • 3/5 Christine A. 2 years ago on Google
Although the products are always good quality, the length of time queueing was excessive….clearly not enough till staff for the time of year.

  • 3/5 Geraldine P. 2 years ago on Google
Very disappointed that they have Christmas decorations on display but they don't have them for sale. Been 3 times now and I feel that the display should be removed if they are not in stock. All they can say is to order on-line and pay £3.95 delivery. Not good customer service.

  • 1/5 David H. 1 year ago on Google
Easy parking and laid out OK. Some areas had no lights on, so made it difficult to see items. Wanted assistance as disabled lifting an item, bathroom cabinet , was told they weren't allowed due to health and safety rubbish. So poor service....

  • 1/5 Adrian K. 1 year ago on Google
What an absolute joke this place is, more one can tell me how much an items was and even if I wanted to purchase it was not for sale due to being ready to stock the shelf’s. Was told to go online and have a look ???? Is this not a shop???? If I wanted to order online I would have done.. customer service at its finest.

  • 2/5 Alan D. 1 year ago on Google
Upon visiting this store today, we were very dissappointed with the customer care and service of your staff. We would have bought more products from this store if we had been helped by the particular staff members we approached, however they seemed to busy and distracted to help, and so we returned several items back to your shelves and went elsewhere

Five star quality, Five star Covid-19 procedures. Love the Xmas display - Well done Team.

  • 3/5 Mark W. 1 year ago on Google
Usual well stocked Range chain, some what spoilt by the 6 or so overly excessively aggressive speed humps now recently installed in the retail area. Will ruin low cars and damage suspension if your not careful.

  • 3/5 Katerina P. 1 year ago on Google
products not in the right place sometimes end up paying more than expected when at till due to this error and quite alot of things not priced up in first place makes it a difficult shopping experience.

Most staff on the tills ok but when making enquiries or trying to find something, some people working on the shelves make you feel as though you are interrupting. So if I can't find what I'm looking for I just walk out!!

I used to really like The Range until they brought Iceland into the stores. What an odd decision. The aisles are now narrow and because the cabinet freezers are running continuously the stores are unbearably hot. A very unpleasant shopping experience. I feel for the staff having to work in such an unhealthy atmosphere especially during the present heatwave. U

Love this place for home devote and bits and bobs. Could do with better ventilation though as really hot during warm weather .

  • 3/5 Dimples S. 2 years ago on Google
Staff unhelpful and somewhat rude. I felt like I was bothering them after I had to ask 3 different staff members about the location of an item, since it was moved from it's usual location. Customer service is important and their job, so I don't understand what the attitude was about! Summer Range is much better, so I'd stick to that branch.

Don't like that you can't leave the store without going through the checkout, which means you have to queue, even when you haven't purchased anything. I understand there is a one way system, but I had to try and social distance around people, who clearly didn't want to move, just leave the shop.
