😠 Day two waiting for my delivery that should have arrived yesterday! Promised that it would be here this morning and i would recieve my 1 hour time slot by 6.15am today... still no time slot, parcel STILL sat doing nothing at the Irlam Depot! Absolute disgrace :@ DPD used to be very good... my advice... People often mention parcel, delivery, driver, service, time, deliver, company, customer, parcels, waiting,

Driver didn't even try to bother to deliver. I tracked him on the app carefully, when still estimated to be 10 minutes away I got a notification saying I'd been missed. I ran outside as soon as I received the notification, ran after the van but driver sped away. Spent all morning trying to find complaints procedure but there are no humans you can speak to whatsoever, even if you try the depot itself. I tried every method of contact available. Very upset as I was late for work to wait for the parcel and will now have to do the same tomorrow as I have no option for collection as it is my broadband box. Time wasters and awful customer service, no accountability whatsoever. Will be contacting Three to complain about DPD's service to them, hopefully DPD will actually listen to them.

Has to be one of the worst delivery service going. They don't always drop a card to tell you where they have left your parcel, but on this occasion they dropped a card that you had to scan for delivery details. When first scanned it said they would deliver the parcel on the Monday after 11am (I received the card on a Friday). No delivery was made on the Monday so rescanned to check where parcel was. This time it said it was at the depot. No address details but the information sounded like they wanted me to collect it but where from? No address. No phone number. Really rubbish company.

Failed to deliver my parcel two days in a row, the driver pretended to visit my flat and sent picture of completely black screen as proof. Called dpd and they said the driver couldn't find my parcel in the van. Third day they decided not deliver and wouldn't let me pick up the parcel. Completely useless service considering I paid for next day delivery.

DPD is the worst courier service in the world if you are working. It's a Kafkaesque nightnare trying to get your parcel. Can't leave item with neighbour, nor a pick up shop and my depot does not allow face-to-face collection. So, either you pay a tenner for weekend delivery, regardless of your item's value, or your goods are sent back to the retailer after repeated and inevitable failed deliveries. Joke company.

I asked for more time so you give me less than 10 minutes, really that is just not good enough, I cannot sit around waiting for your driver to turn up at my property when you have only given me 10 minutes. I have a life please consider this when you are sending out emails to tell us when the parcel will arrive. please cheque this today because I was given less than 10 minutes from the e-mail arriving to the driver at the door. there is also a poster in my window saying which address the parcel can be dropped at, but your driver seems to have ignored this completely, thank you for the worst service I could ever imagine, that could be given by any delivery company, total and absolute waste of time, I feel for your drivers when your infrastructure is that poor, what hope have they got of being able to give a satisfactory service

Currently have two parcels held at the Irlam office both just saying "delayed due to unexpected issue in your area". When I call to speak to dpd customer service there just as useless and essentially read off the tracking information rather than looking into why it's delayed.

They never really attempt delivery, they just slip you the note that they “tried” and by the time you get the email “sorry I missed you”, they are long gone. Customer service is a joke, I tried to explain my issues (third parcel same issue by now) and they reply with the same generic “they should have attempted” “But they didn’t!” “They should have cause they have to so they did”. Like yes thank you for not listening to what I am saying, but do go ahead read off your generic script that says the opposite of what is actually going on. Literally thinking to quit services that use them as delivery company, too much fuss always without a miss.

If it had been possible to leave zero stars I would have! Useless! They made absolutely no attempt to deliver my parcel whatsoever and then attempted to blame me & dropped it off at the shop miles away from me for me to collect it. Hardly the service I paid for at all. Awful response from the customer service line too. Would not use again.

Sad to say the same, but cannot believe the lack of professionalism with this company. Sending pictures of the wrong house, waiting in for hours on end only for them to say sorry we have missed you when they have not even rang the door bell. Would not recommend.

Delivery driver Nawaab is a liar he said he tried to deliver my parcel even though I was outside washing car at the time he claims, the next day I tracked him he said he was 15 mins away then it said he had been and I wasn't in again when a neighbour saw him pull up walk through the gate of our complex take a photo of the car park then drive off again! Customer services are just as bad they said he has been told to bring my parcel to me within the hour, he never did.

I spent all day waiting to get my parcel. The driver did not ring my doorbell even. Your services are poor. Your driver clearly just made a visit around the property and without even ringing the doorbell left after taking a picture of the front door. How is a customer supposed to know the driver is waiting? FedEx, Amazon all of them have rang the doorbell in the past. It's you that like to be special

Was meant to have a delivery last Thursday - been told every day since there’s been an unexpected issue in the area so they can’t deliver (irlam depot). It’s now the fifth day they’ve said it and I’ve been told by customer service today the exact same thing (unexpected issue in the area) but no other information at all. Why is no one telling me anything? So frustrating. Paid £40 for delivery for that Thursday. God knows when I will receive this parcel.

Worst shipping company I have ever dealt with in my life. The driver called me while I was in a meeting. A few minutes later, I called him back but he didn't pick up the phone. Ater that, I checked the website and found that they have returned the package to the sender. This process costed me two weeks to have my parcel delivered to me after that call!!

Would give 0 stars if I could. My parcel was due to be delivered to my work yesterday by driver "Mohammed". I received a notification to say "sorry we missed you" so I checked the app to see a picture of somewhere that was not my workplace , not even on the same road, and that delivery would be attempted the following day. I decided to change my delivery to collect from a local drop off point as to not confuse poor Mohammed as his navigational skills are clearly not that great. The parcel was meant to be delivered to the drop off point today but looking through the parcel updates I discovered that at no point during the day did my parcel even leave the Depot. DPD managers should be ashamed of the service their staff are providing..... Or should I say should be providing.

I’ve just spent 40 mins of my life chasing a parcel that was waiting for collection 50 mile away, turned out it wasn’t even mine after receiving a ref number via text. The problem wasn’t the error in communication but the impossible task in making contact with anyone alive at DPD through their dysfunctional automated systems …Im staying away and leaving well alone

I can't believe what kind of company this is! They did the same mistake to my parcel for the second time. Everyone be aware about sending or receiving parcels with dpd from eu. There seems to be an issue as it's the second time that my sister send me a parcel from the Netherlands and same issue again. Uk system doesn't show full details! No full address, no name nothing! When i call to try to resolve i get usless females on the line and all keeps saing contact dpd in NL. My sister did but everything is fine from there side i have the lable and booking and it's all correct, it's the uk system again. They refused here to fix the issue and didn't even want to listen at all as they can't do the security check they say as my details are missing!!!!! How dare you how is it possible that you do after 1 year exactly the same you only can blame others ...have you really never released that there is an issue with your system with parcels from Netherlands ???? When my sister contacted dpd nl they said they keep hearing same problem about uk since brexit! Are you such an extremely poor and bad company that you never released and resolved this since brexit time????? Just UNBELIEVABLE!

Total joke, Driver arrived at my road but couldn’t gain access due to roadworks. Could have taken it to the local pickup point for me to collect but decided to mark it as delivered. My parcel has now been stuck at the Irlam depot for 2 days. Asked if I could pick it up from the depot but was told that you can’t do this anymore. Don’t know if I will ever receive my item. Would give them zero stars if I could.

Very unhappy with this useless company. I ordered my coffee on Friday to be delivered on Saturday and paid extra for that!!! Today is Wednesday and my coffee still didn't arrived!! If you try to call them they will never answer!! I wouldn't leave a bad review but I own a coffee shop and they left with no coffe over the weekend to serve to my customers! Also I had to buy coffee from somewhere else having to spend an extra £100!!!not happy with DPD!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Your driver in Greater Manchester, Abdelkadir, is a liar. Not only did he not knock on my door, he never got out of his van. Simply parked up, took a photo and drove away. Stop hiring cowboys. I took an unpaid day of work. I saw him park up from the window. Its a shame my cctv was not recording. I would plaster it all over social media to show how your cronies work.

Terrible! DPD is even worse than Hermes, at Hermes they at least deliver, DPD does not honor delivery times or deadlines. We lose a day of work and they don't care!!! Abdul, the driver, also terrible, took a picture out of nowhere to say he tried to deliver and I wasn't there.

Useless. Ordered a parcel and paid extra to have it arrive by 11th April, as I need it urgently for an overseas trip on the 13th April. Parcel has been showing as “at our depot” since 11th April, no changes at 2pm 12th April. Called customer service to be told it hasn’t been loaded on the van today. Do not use this service

DPD van driver with reg KV20 UTS seen in rush hour traffic on M6 this morning at 7:30pm. Started by tailgating me and continually flashing his lights when I had nowhere to go as traffic was heavy. Once I moved out of the way, the driver held alongside me and kept honking his horn, shouting and throwing vile gestures. Eventually he moved on and proceeded to do exactly the same to the next driver. Should be locked up. Trying to intimidate people on the roads. Wouldn't use a dodgy outfit like DPD for my deliveries when they employ these idiots.

Spent all day waiting for my parcel and the driver has changed the time 3 times then not bothered to turn up and take it back to the depot. I paid for next day delivery.

The drivers can’t be bothered to ring the customer or follow basic instructions when i paid for next day delivery and stipulated where I would like my parcel to be left if the driver could not gain access to the property…the fact I was in my home all day waiting for this parcel for the drive to fob me off is a joke in itself.:and now I’m £200 out of pocket thanks to dpd and I have a very angry client … thanks dpd , quite possibly the worse courier company in the uk.. if you know what’s good for you avoid at all costs… I’d even use evri over this lot and that speaks volumes in itself!…

Really terrible experience The driver, named (Ihsan) just dropped the parcel to some other random wrong house. and the customer support lady was absolutely rude and pathetic. Wasn't ready to listen or extend any support at all.

I have had 3 deliveries "missed" this week whilst being home the whole time. Your driver has the time to take a photo of my apartment front door but not the sense to ring the bell and wait for me to come down from the 9th floor. I see a pattern emerging within dpd of claiming to be a great business but employing the worst type of delivery drivers, those who NEVER DELIVER. All parcels now cancelled with senders and refunded whilst they can chase the parcels back

  • 1/5 Khalid M. 1 year ago on Google
lacking basic common sense to leave the parcel at a local trusted DPD collection point, or local retailer, instead caused the parcel to be lost! customer services do not accept nor process complaints, no specific complaints department available either. avoid if possible. on a number of occasions have held onto a parcel for upto a month and eventually return to sender without a reason, causing a parcel delivery time to extend beyond direct delivery from China. on one occasion the driver did not stop, but recorded a failed delivery. I saw the van drive by as I was by the front room window.

Not happy to go there. They should consider it when I told them that I came here from Manchester, 30 minutes drive to reach there. But they don't care it.

  • 1/5 Zed 1 year ago on Google
The worst delivery service, they never ring the doorbell, never leave it in a safespace or with a neighbour and never turn up to collect parcels, don’t know how they survive as a business. 0/10, useless, wouldn’t recommended to a friend.

After waiting in cold for half an hour to pick up my parcel I was told to call customer service as they don't give parcels out due to covid but received a text to pick up from their depo in irlam.

Not been found for them to deliver parcels from Amazon very dissapointed In there, lack off interest and motivation to find the new build, other couriers have found it without the aid of a Sat NAV

Dpd cowboys who rob parcels. Disgrace of a company

  • 1/5 J 2 years ago on Google
General manager like smashing peoples property, doesn't pay the staff properly. Hence why all your parcels are battered when you get them. He forced a shift manager that had covid to work too. Worst place I have ever worked. Sometimes they book too many agency staff and send some home at midnight when there's no transport and they don't even get paid.

How on earth can someone even offer such a horrible service. Five days delays, sometimes they don't even bother to try to deliver.
