Visited
with
my
boyfriend
whilst
on
a
trip
to
Liverpool.
I
had
never
done
any
climbing
myself,
let
alone
bouldering,
and
my
boyfriend
had
a
little
experience.
I
was
nervous,
but
the
staff
were
very
friendly
and
put
me
at
ease
instantly.
We
were
given
an
induction
and
talked
through
how
to
safely
land
should
we
fall.
Then
we
were
taken
to
the
climbing
walls
and
talked
through
the
different
difficulty
levels,
and
guided
up
a
basic
wall.
It
was
a
lot
less
scary
than
I
thought!
We
then
had
about
2
hours
to
do
as
much
climbing
as
we
liked.
We
had
a
great
time,
trying
different
sections
to
climb
and
challenging
ourselves.
Afterward,
we
got
a
drink
from
the
cafe
area.
The
cafe
sold
plenty
of
food
and
drink
that
was
suitable
for
people
who
can't
have
dairy
or
gluten,
or
who
are
vegan
etc.
Also,
all
the
products
sold,
including
coffee,
food,
other
drinks,
and
even
bouldering
equipment
in
the
shop,
was
all
fairtrade
and/or
locally
produced
and
ethically
made.
We
bought
some
Tony's
Chocolonely
chocolate
bars,
which
were
insanely
good,
and
a
firefly
drink
and
a
smoothie.
I
definitely
recommend
the
climbing
hangar!
It's
a
lot
of
fun,
and
there's
something
for
everyone,
whether
you're
a
total
beginner,
or
someone
who
is
very
experienced.
