This is a really good pet store that also offers grooming and veterinary services. There is a wide variety of items for many types of animals, sometimes not the cheapest but does offer a good selection and many items that you won’t find in other pet stores or supermarkets. The staff are always very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and are always around to help answer questions. Great shop.

*DO NOT BUY A PET FROM THIS STORE! PLEASE READ! Me and my partner was.told by one of the store members to buy 2 rabbits which we was looking to do anyway. We noticed one of the rabbits was sneezing and was crackling the same day that we brought it home. Turned to the vet to find out it had an upper respiratory tract infection. And then tested positive from a swab for a bacteria that's common in cattle o_O even though they covered some of the vet bills me and my partner still had to pay for the anti biotics to cure this bacteria infection which me and my partner did in a heart beat! .the pets at home workers kept telling us that it was caused by stressed. Bacteria isn't caused by stress as any person with common sense would know. Bacteria thrives in poor kept places so we are not so sure that they have been looked after properly during their time at the store. The vets upstairs won't even back us up or give us the results that tested positive so I can only think that pets at home have already spoke to them privately about this matter. My advice look for a decent pet breeder and a separate vets. Me and my partner are heartbroken as we are struggling to get the two back together again and can't even get in to get neutered until the end of September they have been separate for almost 2 months. Please don't go here if you care about animals. They are living things the same as us. Eat , drink , sleep breathe. Go somewhere else.!

Great store with friendly helpful staff. Also the bonus of peoples dogs that love a stroke on your way around! Plenty of choice for all types of pets and helpful advice. Not too pricey. Good quality products that you can rely on.

Very good quality with competitive prices for any products. My better half‘s dog requires today visited her to drop my daughters dog off who is having a little operation. Just added fish bought from this store to my aquarium. Disease is clearly visible. I'll be back in the morning and you'd better hope none of my other fish become infected. I'll not be buying from you again that's for sure.

Didn't give me a specific time to collect my dog from groomers. Didn't answer my calls. Charged me extra for being late and they had my old number. Also, charged me extra because she had some mats. Bit overpriced for a groom.

Used the groom room booked online paid deposit.On turning up things you expect as standard i.e de-shedding are extra When paying the bill I was told I had to pay the full amount and the deposit would come back later separately So the £15 deposit was out of my account for another 5 days a good job I could afford it not happy won't be going back

George has again had tremendous care by vets4pets. Post castration, he is now well supported at home in his recovery jacket. My thanks for all the teams consistent, loving care.

Staff very helpful .Good selection of products for all pets. Usually a selection of small furries to tempt you into a new pet. Lift and stairs to the vets and grooming room upstairs. It really is everything under one roof.

Regularly missing our food in store / not stocking it and hard to get. Customer service is not great. Not specialized service or sense of urgency to help. Knowledge isn't that good

Plenty of car parking space here and very central so easy to get to. Lots of pet food, accessories etc some of which is reduced. Bought two items and the young lady counter assistant couldn't have been more helpful as she got me to sign up for the App and therefore got another 10% off. Definitely visit again as made to feel welcome!! ☺

Found peace looking at the fishes in the tanks, stress levels dropped from level 8 to level 2 instantly. Dogs are allowed into the shop. Ideally placed an next to Poundstretcher and Tesco's Parking is ample.

We don't buy much in the store (the odd dog toy), but located upstairs (lift available) is Vets for pets. This is a first class service with really great staff. They may be a little pricier than other vets, but it's money well spent. When we first went there our dog had been unwell for some time and our previous vets had tried several things and had seemingly given up. Nacho and his team got her better first time. The quote for what she needed had seemed like a lot, but after surgery we were told the vets had done more than expected and we were not charged for this. The store and vets are open much later than our old vets and when we needed them we were able to get an emergency booking as a new patient on a bank holiday weekend; some charges applied, but so worth it.

We were trying to book an appointment for a long time and booked the only available appointment the receptionist told us they had for December. Both me and my partner took some hours off from work and went. there was a problem with their system and despite the fact that we had an appointment confirmation email they said that the only thing they could do is wait for all the other appointments they had to be seen or book another day. a mistake that is from their end I would expected to be handled better and not with this disrespect.

I love this place really friendly staff who don't mind if your dog has a little accident. We've had 4 guinea pigs from here all healthy happy little chaps. Always have our dog food and happy to give advice

They need to look up the meaning of the word Service. 1 member of staff (about 6 out the back smoking) waited 10 minuets to be served with some fish only to be told that they are not for sale today, but will be tomorrow. No explanation, nothing. Will not be going there for anything again.

Great staff but I seem to have to order most things I need as they seem to be out of stock. So it's mainly a collection point for me. Eg Wainwright's Dried Dog food. Scrumbles Grain Free wet Dog food...

Amazing vets but timings not accurate. Says it’s open at 9am been trying several times since 9am says it’s shut

Went in to buy 2 goldfish, had to look around for a staff member who was busy in conversation with another staff member, when asked to buy the fish the elderly member of staff asked what size my tank was! I replied 40 litre, she replied I can only sell you one for that size tank I was gob smacked!! She persisted in calling me Sir I found this extremely patronising as you could tell it was far from natural. I said you are joking, she persisted to call me Sir again. I replied Oh forget it. WON'T be going on there any time soon!!!

Took my Spaniel in to be closely clipped all over, which was carried out very well. Appointment time kept ok. Nice big Car Park outside. Lift to get up to 1st floor. Will look forward to going again very soon.

A good range of products at quite reasonable prices. Loads of free parking. Vet on site. Unusually helpful staff - they really seem to want you to leave happy. My only quibble is about the veterinary service which seems to be money driven so any opportunity is used to inflate the bill.

Went today to buy a hamster ended up with two hamsters and two rabbit's 🤣 brilliant staff even tho a customer was rude and having ago at the staff they handled it brilliantly. They still managed to help us with everything we needed and nothing was to much trouble. Excellent staff in already difficult times.
