Really good gym friendly knowledgeable staff .

I am in the area for 3-4 weeks and asked about a months membership here, the best price they could offer was £50, which is their set price for a one off/1st month membership. The member of staff on duty asked the manager if that could be reduced (on my request) but they were not prepared to do anything. Pure greed! The gym itself was nothing special at all, just one big cold room with 2 people using it. How they stay afloat I’ve no idea. I went to Holywell Leisure Centre and joined straight away for £27, and the gym is a lot nicer!, much better atmosphere and they also have a spa, sauna and steam room etc. Go to Holywell, don’t waste your time or money at this place.

Recently joined this gym. The staff are very friendly and approachable, I was given a detailed tour of the gym and the facilities before I committed to join. Prices are fair with optional charity donation. Good to support local businesses who do charitable work. The equipment is good, does what its suposed to do with no shortage of TV screens! The changing rooms/showers are very clean, tidy and spacious with more than enough showers and locker space. Overall great local gym and I cannot think of a single negative. Recommended

I do like the Lyons Den Gym,it has a good range of fitness equipment available.I know it also has a variety of classes going on upstairs.The Gym is never very Busy when I have been.So there is no real wait to get on any equipment that you might want to use. The staff there are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I happen to be a bit on the extra large size.Mind you,You can never have to much of a good thing Lol!!. Joking aside everyone in there have Always been friendly and encouraging towards me. Which is nice ,and tends to put me at ease. I always ask them to put on the dry sauna,as well as the steam room.Ready for me to use after my attempted work out. Shower then home. I feel welcome and if you like me are a bit self conscious. Don't be,go and enjoy yourself.Hope this helps you out.

Very friendly staff, fab classes, great facilities. Easy access. What's not to love?

Had a session with my wife and daughter this morning and it was an absolute pleasure. Beautiful setting and Tommy our trainer gauged our individual fitness levels and abilities perfectly. We have booked to go back again in 2 days. We would highly recommend Lyons Den Fitness.

Great gym i have been a member for some time i mainly attend the classes but occasionally use the ladies gym i also use the running track great for those winter months and dark nights as its a safe outdoor area to run or walk all the staff are Friendly and helpful classes great workout Good all round gym also have excellent hair dressing salon and beauty salon on site

Everything about this gym is spot on from the huge variety of machines, free weights and classes covering all bases. The owner and trainers/pt’s know their stuff. The Den is a family gym and the support, friendship and encouragement is hard to beat.

Pilates with Neil is brilliant! I can fully recommend it, he is very knowledgable, I go because it is good for me and you only have to do what you can, no pressure!
