Good. Scenic area with many places to explore. Beach is clean but dog friendly. Some people don’t clean after dog. Many restaurants around. Would be great if people keep it clean as it is a beautiful place. Hilbre Islands are also nearby.

Came for a bit of an explore, New Brighton has a really nice clean stretch of beach and a good long promenade. Great for a walk and to blow the cobwebs away. Had a great day out watching the kite surfing too

A nice long walk along the front if you want to. A big morrisons and a few other shops. Nearby bars, pubs restaurants and chippies give plenty of options for food. Caught a nice sunset too

Lovley views and plenty of things to do. It has plenty of restaurants and chippys, kids soft play area, crazy golf, cinema, pubs/bar, large open fields, large stretchs of beaches, amazing sunset views, a castle, hotels, bnbs, art, statues, best views of liverpool, fairy garden, a porate ship, marine lake, ice cream places, airsoft gun range, arcades - too much. Plenty of things to do for free too. dog friendly and can also take in few restaurants such the marino lounge

As I've been coming for 60 years, I've seen some changes. There's no longer a ferry to the pier. There is no longer a pier. The outdoor swimming pool has gone. The boating pond is still there. Old New Brighton is still there if you look for it. There is a bus or direct train from Liverpool. I still visit.

Really clean beach. Nice to see dogs running around. Lots to do and see, worth a visit for a day or an over night trip if coming from afar.

A great place for a walk, with plenty of open space for children to cycle or dogs to roam. Lots of (currently) free parking and nearby shops, eateries and other attractions. Being on the coast it's always different, depending on the tide and weather. A sunny July day is very different from a blustery January day!

Great place to visit during the day or evening. Plenty of things to do. The shops, bars and restaurants are open and people are enjoying themselves. If you didn't want to go to those then you could walk along Kings Parade taking in the sea breeze or, tides permitting, walk along the golden sands. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Great place for a walk in the evening. Especially when weather is nice. Kept really clean nowadays. Well used by walkers and cyclists. Sometimes great photos of the wind turbines at sunset.

Cant believe the change in New Brighton since the 80's. Looks like millions have been spent upgrading the whole place and it is superb for a day out. Lovely promenade, clean beach, lovely town with lots to do and see. Well done to the council.

New Brighton has an old seaside town feel to it, popular with walkers, dogs and the occasional fisherman. Marina for rc boats etc. Swimming baths, restaurants and shopping available. Free parking, can get windy and remember to check on the tide if you intend to use the beach.

Nothing to complain about except Wetherspoons left a mess when they abandoned their project of a new hotel and refurbished restuarant and bar. There is plenty to do lovely walks, restaurants, cafes and bars, theatre, great scenery, clean beaches…the sunsets are to die for. Liverpool can be seen as if it’s just a short walk on a clear day, but no it’s not that at all but a train or bus journey from the Kings promenade or the New Brighton station...Visited here in June and Sept 2023

New Brighton is lovely. Visiting here reminds me of being a kid. It's changed a fair bit over the years. They have added a cinema, shops, restaurants and a hotel. It is a pleasant place to be. You have also got the promenade where you can walk or cycle the Wirral peninsula right round as far as West Kirkby. You have also got the marine lake which is ideal for crab fishing! Opposite and just a bit down the road from all of that, you have got traditional chippys, an old school arcade, kids fun fair sandwiched between a bowling alley/ bar and the theatre. If you venture up from the promenade, you will find a few cosy cafes, bars and quirky independent shops on a more traditional high street. Where the train station is also located. Getting to New Brighton by train about half an hour from Liverpool Lime Street or Central Station on the Wirral line. It is definitely worth a visit! My only complaints are; Fort Perch Rock is mostly closed, and it is now an escape room. There is a cafe there with outside seats, which would be nice in the summer. I would like to have a look around the Fort, though. There used to be a wooden walkway around part of the lake, which was ideal for getting close to the water whilst crab fishing. They have since removed it, though. The whole feeling of New Brighton is that they're trying to drive custom away from the local places by building the hospitality centre and shops right on the front. Like I said, if you venture up into the town, you can find some great little places. Good bit of history, look up New Brighton Tower on Youtube. Also I recommend having a look into the WW2 munitions factory, where there are frequent Ghost Hunts hosted by a man called Paul Mcnulty and Creep Paranormal Investigations.

Beautiful place for a walk. This place does host a few events with food stalls and attractions for kids. It is family and pet friendly. And even with no events on its a nice place to spend the day.

Plenty of parking, clean everywhere, and beautiful sandy beaches for the whole family and friends ds to enjoy. We had a picnic by our hosts and the whole experience was great. I hope we come back again.

One of our favourite places to take our daughter for a bike ride. Safe, away from traffic. It's just unfortunate that yesterday 23/09, there was so much dog mess along the entire promenade that it ruined a nice walk. Why won't people pick up after their dogs?

Haven't been to New Brighton since I was little, there are a good range of shops and the fair/amusement arcades, also public toilets to use, but we went for the walk on the beach, absolutely gorgeous and very clean, our dog also loved it πŸ’•

Nice walk along the prom to New Brighton. Lots of repairs to the walk and cycle lane has been carried out. Great place to enjoy a walk but a bit misty and chilly today though.
