Excellent professional kitesurfing tuition and equipment setup. I needed a one to one coaching session so Adam took the time to establish my learning objectives beforehand. The Bluetooth helmet/headset system made it possible for Adam to communicate and advise easily whilst I was out on the water. Found the session very beneficial with new skills and techniques to work on. Would definitely recommend Northern Kites for both beginners and intermediate riders wishing to progress.

I went to Northern Kites as a complete beginner. Adam and the team were very welcoming and easy going, as well as being great teachers. Ben & Nige had me up and riding in no time! A few weeks later and I’m now out riding independently and am hooked… Adam also offered great advice when it came to buying my own equipment, and I did end up buying most of it from Northern Kites with zero sales pressure! If you’re thinking about getting into Kite Surfing then I would 100% recommend Northern Kites.

Amazing instructors and kite school! Super helpful made the whole experience super fun. Really went out of their way to make the kiting fun and safe.. one of the best beaches I’ve found for learning on.. plenty of other kiters to chat to and learn from.. really nice to have a hot shower.. can’t wait to go back..

Had an epic lesson with Ben. He was professional, fun and always kept safety a priority. He got me up and surfing in light winds, helping be combat my lack of confidence with larger kites. Great experience so far learning to kitesurf with these guys. Communication has been brilliant and the tuition second to none. Couldn’t ask for a better introduction to not only a sport but a thriving kitesurfing community up here in the mighty north. 🤙

Really amazing time on the taster day with Adrian & Carl! Fantastic instructors! We started with the basics and progressed fast to get kites up and flying in no time. Really helpful guidance and allowed me to progress really fast. Felt safe the entire time. I can't wait to get back for my next lesson: I'm pretty sure with these guys I'm going to be up and riding in no time!

Had a fantastic session with Michaela and the girls at Rhosneigr - have been kiting for years but never learnt many tricks Always wanted to be able to do a back-roll but always lost my nerve. With a bit of encouragement and some expert tips, Michaela had me back rolling within half an hour!! She was amazing. Lovely vibe with Adam, Kayla and all the instructors at Northern Kites - feels like a family and community, not a business. Would recommend Northern Kites to anyone wanting to have a go/ get involved in this incredibly fun, exhilarating and sociable sport. You only live once :) give it a go!

Adam and his team are amazing I now just about class myself as an independent kite surfer at the age of 57! The club is truly inclusive and feels like a community. My son is now also learning and one of lots of people of all ages being taught by a group of supportive teachers. There is a genuine wish and enthusiasm for you to learn and progress. This is a club and sport that I think has huge benefits both physically and with mental wellbeing/health. Thank you Adam and team.

Great lesson. Nige was super attentive, very clear with his instruction and tweaks. Made a lot more progress than I was expecting. Very good facility, friendly feel and will definitely be back for more lessons.

Great first lesson on the kite. Adam looked after us really well and got us to start being able to manage the kite on dry sand before our next lesson in the water.

I have had a quite a number of lessons before, but I progressed more in three hours with Nige than all my other lessons combined. Nige was patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. Northern Kites clearly care about the progress of their students and I'll definitely be back for more lessons

I can only echo many of the other positive reviews of the school/club. Adam will go out of his way to try to accomodate your needs. My 2 teenage daughters have had severel lessons with the school and have loved every minute. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and leave you safe in the knowledge that you are in safe hands. Given the location, conditions and high standard of training, I would have no hesitation in recommending Northern Kites to anyone wanting to learn to kitesurf

I was on Tour in Liverpool and booked by short notice a 4h lesson. I have never Kited before and felt in really good hands. As an Absolute Beginner I could not think of a better first teacher to get to now the Kite world. Although we had to wait for the perfect wind conditions i had the feeling we used the short time we had as effective as we could. I will definetly come back !! Thank you

Having no knowledge or access to the sport, I contacted a couple of kitesurfing schools with limited availability. I found NorthernKites school website very easy and intuitive. Booking up was easy and plenty of info to prep prior to my first lesson. I joined up October, thinking I missed the season I was welcomed into the club feeling part of the family. Adam and his team have really been accommodating! with a very “can do” approach to what’s needed. I was introduced to my Instructor “Nigel” super positive about my first time! Starting off with engaging and intuitive briefing with background to the sport, breakdown of equipment safety and surroundings! The knowledge and attention to details makes you feel able to tackle each segment with confidence. Now having completed my third lesson, I can say everything has been very professional, lots of fun and leaves me inspired to achieve more on every visit! Looking forward to my next one! Thanks guys!
