So much to do and see. The drive through was thrilling! The opportunity to be so close to these animals was certainly appreciated by all in the car. The walking area produced a petting farm where little goats etc were accessible & we witnessed many excited children enjoy it. There were also paddling boats for hire. A lemur walk through. Giraffes and elephants. A wide variety of animals. Food was good. The donut stall was fairly priced with 5 donuts going for 4 pound. The ice-cream however was definitely overpriced. Coffee was being sold for £2.60. The bbq area offers the chance to have a cook out and you can always bring your own food with plenty of picnic tables available throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to spend a day! So much to see and do, and fabulous for kids. Although the place was busy, there is ample parking. It's great to see all these fabulous animals. Love the fact there are lots of picnic benches around the park, and it's a great idea to take your own picnic. However, food and drink prices are reasonable at the various outlets. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a great time at this zoo for my birthday!. It was quite quiet but the weather that day was overcast. The animals gave a great viewing of there characters. The animals looked all so happy playing away, even saw the big cats have a carry on with each other. In the safari part of the zoo not once did I feel I had to hurry along for the other cars behind as there is two lanes! Which I thought was a really good idea. Will definitely pick this zoo again!

Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is a great place to spend your day with family and friends. Lots of things to do and animals to see. Everyone can enjoy it, no matter how young they are. You have to book your tickets in advance, but doesn't matter, because even if the weather is not too good, you still can enjoy it.

We decided to come to Blair Drummond and ditch sightseeing Stirling castle. I have never being to a safari park before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Be warn that it’s online booking only. Once inside, there is so much to do and see. We spent over 5 hours in here. Some food outlets were expensive but that is to be expected. The adventure play area looks amazing too. I wish my boys were here with us as they were thoroughly enjoy it. I’ll definitely be coming back. Money very well spent.

I'm delighted to share that our visit to Blair Drummond Safari Park was truly fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the sections and had an amazing day with the kids. This place is an absolute must-visit for everyone. The diverse attractions and the opportunity to see wildlife up close make it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Always a fantastic day out. It's not cheap but it is worth it! We were £52 for an adult and 2 kids during the school October holidays. That price included a pick your own pumpkin. We spent a further £20 on ride tokens (this was a little bit too much actually as we were left with tokens to burn). And then more on a burger, pizza and donuts and toasting marshmallows. Some activities are surprisingly free which is a great! The swan boats, go karts, play areas, and the big slide. It's a full day! We were there from 11am till 5pm and didn't stop for a second. It also has something to cater for all ages. You are never too old for the Safari park. Some of the enclosures make me sad though! The elephant in particular just looked so unhappy!

First visit in many years, with our 2 kids aged 8 and 4. Fantastic day, spent 6 hours in the park and there was still loads more that we didn't see and do. Safari experience is great, well managed so you don't feel rushed/crowded and have time to enjoy watching the animals. Huge variety of animals definitely something for everyone and a good play area for the kids as well as the rides, which cost extra. Plenty of seating for picnics and a decent selection of food for sale throughout the park. They have 2 gift shops, one where everything is less than £5, which is a great. Our kids spent ages choosing and got 3 gifts each for a total cost of £13. Animal talks/feedings are good but really busy so get there early. Could probably do with a few more of these sessions on busy days.

Decided to have a day out with my partner. We had booked tickets online and spent a good chunk of the day here. Loved every minute seeing their variety of animals. Even caught the Birds of Prey show which was also an educational and amazing experience! Will definitely be back, maybe even take in one of their Keeper experiences to get hands on with some of their animals. All the vendors were reasonably priced within the park also with great parking.

Tips/pros and cons: Arrive early doors if you have small children as it's easier to view the first sea lion event and the small animals next to (brilliant display). The small train ride an adult needs to give a token too. Most rides my four year old was too small for so I was allowed to accompany for free. It's 5 tokens for £10 or 2.50 each. As I had two kids (purchased ten tokens), I was left over with one due to train). So, I'd avoid if you have equal numbers of kiddies. Better rides on offer anyway, Although the staff were great on the train. BBQs lit up and available on park near Jurassic area and plenty of picnic benches all over the park (bring a cool box with BBQ bits or a typical pack lunch if you want to keep costs low). The pedal boats and the pedal go karts near the old boat dock are FREE. Memberships - for kids for the whole year (park does close during winter), it is only £35. Amazing value. Type of car - remember soft tops can't go via the drive part of park with lions, but you can view them really well from viewing point. Superb outdoor play areas for kids. Outstanding actually. Changing rooms and toilets scattered throughout. Cons: it's more expensive than it was a few years ago, but with this in mind, they kept staff and animals going throughout COVID. And the things they have to offer are still a little cheaper than amusement parks. SUMMARY: Brilliant day out and can easily spend all day there. I highly recommend

How lucky I feel to be able to visit this amazing place on my trip to Scotland. This is no less than a wonder place. Huge huge parking. Multiple rides spread across the park which includes paddle boating too. Huge playing frame. Very close encounters with the animals. My highlight was the sea lion show - a must watch. Could easily spend 7, 8 hours here. A must visit!

Fantastic day trip for both adults and kids . It’s beautifully laid out and a fantastic experience to see all the animals. The animals are well looked after and have plenty room to be happy . There’s a lot of activities for children and a place to enjoy a coffee for the adults .

Absolutely amazing day! There's so much to see and do! The Jurassic Area is fantastic, although slightly daunting for smaller children. There's a fabulous play park, when we were there the boat to the monkey's was still off, it may be back on but there was a walking area where you could walk and hope the monkey's came out! The seal area was also being refurbished. Still plenty to see and do. Not forgetting the drive through the Lion and Monkey enclosure. Amazing day out!!

Had a great day out here. Booked tickets in advance so entry to park was easy. We were their early so no problems getting parked. Great to easily see so many animals. Kids loved play parks and the new dinosaur experience was great. A few rides not in operation due to COVID precautions. A great day out that we all enjoyed.

We had an absolutely amazing family day out here. It’s the first time we have been since the opening of the Dinosaurs bit. The kids loved it. The dinosaurs are the best I’ve seen outside an American theme park. They are huge! The park itself was clean and had been updated a lot since our last visit. One of the best parks I’ve been to in the UK. The kids play areas are great. The fairground bit was brilliant too. Loved our whole day!

A great day had by all, great drive through the safari with the animals looking relaxed and healthy, kids very happy to see, then stopped for lunch. Staff seemed happy and very helpful everywhere we went, the massive climbing frame was a massive hit. About 15 runs up and down soon tired them out, enjoyed the dinosaur area too!

Great day out for families and individuals alike. Lots of amazing animals to see. My personal favourites are the macaques in the drive-through safari and the Birds of Prey. It was a super windy day today so I didn’t see as many animals as normal in the safari but I’d want to be inside if I were them too. On the flip side the weather conditions made the bird show even more impressive than usual. I went to both the 12 and 2pm shows (winter times) and they were amazing. All the birds and keepers put on a great show with Audemus the Saker Falcon being the highlight for me. His flight was stunning. Overall it was a brilliant day out as always. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, and I’d recommend going to more than one of the bird shows as they fly different birds in each one. Book in advance if you intend on going as they don’t sell tickets at the gate.

An amazing day out for young and old. Our kids favourite place to go to. Really good park with separate areas for each age group. Good selection of animals and the drive thru is a must. The petting zoo section is amazing and has helped get the kids used to being around animals. The annual pass is well worth it as it seems we are never away from here. Always have to finish our visits with a trip round the dinosaurs and a visit to the Dino donuts stand 🦖 🍩

We had a family day here and booked the BBQ area for food. We took our food, got the bbq sorted and the At side of things went really well. The only downside being that as there was a few of us, we had 2 tables and one of the tables was on the grass out of the area and on a bit of a slope and it meant that when the inevitable rain came, we weren't covered on that table. The park was good, felt the flow of the park could of been better like others we had been to but a good collection of animals and my son had a good time with the few fairground style rides. Overall a fun day but not one that will have me rushing back in a heartbeat.

The safari park has so much to do and see. From the lemur island to seeing tigers wandering around. It is fun for all the family. We made it just in time to see both the sea lions being fed and doing some tricks, and also the birds of prey display which was informative and visually stunning. Would highly recommend coming here for a fun day out to see a wide range of animals.

took my 4 year old daughter on a trip with my local kids club. She absolutly had a ball. we actually spent more time driving through some of the enclosures than we did driving there. it is really easy to get there and staff were really friendly and helpful. there is also a shop that is for kids to pocket money where toys are £5 or less which i thought was really good

  • 4/5 G. V. 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful place to spend a family time. The exposition is impressive. The kids have the opportunity to appreciate the animals. The difference “shows” were presented but more dynamic is the bird of preys. One inconvenience is that the “shows” run with a short time to see it all.

  • 5/5 Zoe C. 5 months ago on Google
Loved going to pick a pumpkin and watching the bird show went to both bird shows for that day. Absolutely fantastic the way they interact with the audience. 10/10. Had great fun and would definitely return.

Went especially for the Christmas Market and was very disappointed. Turned out to be about 8 small sheds, 3 of which seemed to be made up from the contents of the gift shops (which were empty/closed) and some other random overpriced items you probably wouldn’t want to receive never mind buy. There are also a few different fairground rides for the younger children. Safari park itself however was worth visiting. No sea lions at present due to their enclosure/pool being rebuilt, boat trips not operating due to covid restrictions (I think), and although there is a chimp viewing platform, there was no sign of the chimps. All other animals seemed to be present and correct. Especially enjoyed the lions and tigers and with the park being quite quiet there was plenty of time to see everything at our own pace. One more thing though was that the restaurant was closed. There were take away options available though and the seating in the restaurant was available to eat inside if you do wished. I always recommend a visit to the safari park but don’t expect much from the Christmas Market.

This park is such a lovely day out with family. It is more spacious and beautiful than we expected. We spent 5-6 hours and still couldn't visit some spots. Happy to share that there were plenty of really good baby changing rooms, which means less wait, and less mess! From safari drive through to walking lanes, and from theme park to animal talks, everything is fantastic. The dinosaur walk through gives Jurassic Park vibes. Flying Birds of Prey Display is so much fun. Seeing Giraffes and Elephant so close to us was such a wholesome experience. In short, we loved our visit, and would definitely come back anytime soon!!

Great place to go for kids, theme park (most mechanical rides to pay extra), gift shop, slide is free. Cafe is limited but good enough. Toilets good. Animals good. Good day out, plenty to do in a reasonable walking distance, mostly flat.

You have to book your tickets online in advance of going for a day out which is fine just wanted to make sure people were aware! Had a fantastic day there today having not been for a few years! Lots of animals to see! Today’s highlights for me were easily the baby sealions Otis & Barney who stole the shoe for me😍 Also the baby Alpacas Pippa & wee Steve O absolutely gorgeous! Also tigers were very lively today which was great to see! We spent around 6hrs there today & that was without children so you could easily be there from start to finish!

Best zoo in Scotland, or even in entire UK. You can see progress they made through the years, so many small things improved, you can easy spend there one of best days in your life. Zoo is operating on booking only and in winter months they’re closing drive through quite soon, remember that. For me always it’s the best to visit early near the opening time.

Great day out for the family. Kids loved it. So much to see and do. Better rides and eating facilities than Edinburgh Zoo. Really good facilities and everything is pretty easily accessible. Would return again, had a great time.

Family day out with 1 year old and wife to Blair Drummond Safari. Great day! Lots to see and do. Food in the restaurant was served really quick and was lovely (soup, coffees, traybake/scone). Very reasonable priced as well, was impressed. Thought monkeys on the drive thru would be more interactive and be jumping about on cars etc, must have just been chilling 😎 🐒 . Would recommend going 👍 must purchase tickets in advance

A place visited by the family at least once a year. Went to the Christmas event this year and it was great. Keepers are knowledgeable and always helpful with info at the talks. One of the best things to do in Scotland.

First time at the Christmas Spectacular and highly recommend it. So much to see and do! Drive through enclosures, walk about animal enclosures, Christmas fair, food stalls, shops, Christmas show, anamatronic dinosaurs, parks, light trail. We spent hours there and had a great time (ages 6 months - 48 years old). Definitely go along.

  • 4/5 Colby a. 1 year ago on Google
Blair Drummond was a really good spot to take the family on a hot day. I would recommend listening to the talks. Staff are really friendly. The kids play was massive and there even was a bit sand bit for the kids to play in. The boats were amazing buy not enough room. The dinosaur walk through was amazing for kids. The drive through was outstanding 👏 I even got a few pictures. The ice cream prices were £5 for a chocolate Sunday which is a bit to expensive for a chocolate Sunday. And would of been a bit better if there was more animals.

  • 3/5 Lynn S. 2 years ago on Google
Very costly to go without a car on a rainy day. There are areas I would have liked to see but the bus or shuttle which was used for pedestrians before was not operating because if Covid. I also could not do the river cruise but still paid the same price. The weather played havoc with my hair

We had a great day here yesterday. We drove twice through the enclosures and had the privilege of lions walking closely to us and watching lions play together. The monkeys were all roaming about and grooming each other. Thankfully they didn't climb on the car though. There's plenty to do around the rest of the park too with loads of other animals to see. Sadly the Sea Lions weren't available to see as their enclosure is getting some work done. There are a few little rides available for an extra cost, and there is a huge adventure playpark too. The dinosaur enclosure was brilliant, but watch out for the one that spits! As it was Halloween, there were fire pits to toast marshmallows and the pumpkin patch too, which was really well set up. It was a bit muddy in places as there had been a lot of rain, but nothing a pair of wellies couldn't handle! Most kids had puddle suits etc on as well, which was a good idea for the play park (we didn't plan for that unfortunately). We found the restaurant to be quite pricey with a portion of "cheesy" chips being £3.75 (the cheese didn't melt over the chips, it was mostly in the bottom of the bowl and the portion was a small bowl). We had 2 sandwiches, a portion of chips, 2 cans of pop and 2 children's lunches which included drinks. This all came to £30.75. Overall, we had a great day and would recommend to everyone. Just don't forget your wellies! (And maybe a picnic if you want to keep your costs down).

I absolutely love it here, been going since I was much younger and I love it every single time. Went here recently with my boyfriend and we had the best time. Loved the added dinosaur attraction. Went to the birds of prey talk as well which I’d never been to before and it’s really good although a little scary if like me you’re not overly fond of birds. Great family day out!

A great family day out, there is so much to see and do its fun for all ages. We loved the safari tour in car and the walk up on the ramps. The walk through the dinosaurs was exciting, there's a huge adventure playground that kept the kids entertained for ages as well as a mini farm, pedalo ride and a small fair ground. Plenty of spots with picnic benches or cafes to purchase food and drink.

  • 5/5 Steven K. 2 years ago on Google
There's lots to do here, including a drive through the enclosures, where we were just 1 metre away from lions, to the play park, pedalos, farm park, and dinosaur park. The animals seem to ge well looked after, and you're unlikely to be disappointed with the range of animals they have. You do need to book in advance though, or you might not get in.

The best experience in Scotland.... I've seen some animals really close, they have a lot of play grounds for kids, special place for barbecue with grills and tables.

Amazing peaceful place to spend whole day with family. Lots of things to do and see for all age groups. Lots of shows birds of prey and sea lion just to keep eye on the timings. dinosaur section is amazing. Be careful while drive through animals especially lions 🦁 and monkeys 🙉.

Fantastic day at Blair Drummond. There's tons to do, even in the winter months. We easily spent the whole day and my 4 year old loved the animals, dinosaurs, rides and playground. Animals look well cared for and comfortable. Every single member of staff in the place was doing a great job, especially the keepers doing presentations throughout the day. Birds of prey and sea lions were big highlights. Restaurant was spotless, well priced and good range of choices. Don't know how I've lived in Scotland all these years and not been before - we'll certainly be back.

Definitely go for it..! It's an amazing experience to see so many animals at once and get to know about them through volunteers. Clean and well-maintained safari park. One of the main attractions was the bird show. You would also have a lot of joy rides including a boat ride. The safari comes with a ton of food options to choose from like burgers, donuts, etc but are on the expensive side. I would recommend taking a packed lunch. On the other hand, the Safari also offers a BBQ setup and a picnic area. Can spend an entire day with friends and family here!

Love this place. Been here many times over my 51 years. Was here with my daughter this time and it's as good as ever. There's so much to see and do that you need a full day there. Great for a family day out. Lot's of fun, I highly recommend it. Book online only now though as I discovered when I arrived, but they have WiFi at the entrance and it only takes a few minutes to do.

One of our favourite places to visit! We go every year and it's always a fantastic day out! This time we went the main area by the sea lions had been moved about a but so it was a really big open space and it felt so much better. Its always super busy but there's always somewhere to park, a spot for a nice picnic and you never feel rushed or claustrophobic because of the crowds. My kids love playing in the big Fort in the park and Went on some of the rides too. Even the queues for ice creams went down really quickly. The toilets are always clean and there are quite a few around the park and we never had to queue once for those. The staff are all really friendly and happy to answer any questions they get from curious little people ( and big people too). YOU CANNOT BUY TICKETS ON THE GATE ITS ONLINE ONLY NOW. Also for anyone who has visited before, the boats are no longer running but there is a path to see Chimp Island. Fabulous day out for all ages.

Great place for a day out so many animals too see bad things to do for all ages! Food is okay not the biggest range of things in the main eating areas! But there are some little food stalls around the park for sweet treats! They have information talks and feeding times for the animals that is great! Need the whole day to do it as the park is very big! Definitely worth a visit

Had a fantastic time today. We went as a couple on a Sunday, arrived at 9:45 and left at 3. So much today and worth the money when you know it goes to animals, staff, runnings etc. £21 for my ticket (adult) and £15 for my partner (uni student). Tacos were amazing, I got vegan and my boyfriend got chicken. Ice cream was yummy, loads to do and was really lovely. Only complaint was staff in gift shops /restaurants / etc all looked miserable and they were short. From the ticket kiosk right to the end with ice cream nobody had manners. When I ordered my ice cream I don't think I was spoken to at all. HOWEVER, the birds of prey speaker at 2pm today was hilarious and really worked with the birds, the animals are wonderful, the experience is fantastic. Thank you and we will be back!

We had an ecstatic day at the Safari park. The amusement park with the games and rides were fun. Paddling the boat, bumping onto other cars at the bumper cars after ages made me nostalgic. A great place for picnics and BBQsss..

  • 3/5 Kyle J. 11 months ago on Google
The park itself is very good with a wide variety of animals to see. The birds of prey show is definitely one of my favourite attractions and worth making your way there when it’s on. Food facilities are reasonable and okay prices There is a BBQ area which is also decent if you bring your own food to cook. Parking can be hard to find if it’s really busy but you’ll find something if you’re early enough which is recommended to get the full value of your ticket anyways Really, the only complaint I have is the lonely depressed elephant stuck by itself. Not fair on the animal to be in that kind of situation purely for our entertainment. If it wasn’t for the poor elephant it would be 5 stars in my book.

  • 5/5 Amy H. 10 months ago on Google
I cannot speak more highly of this place. It’s almost like you need 2 days here!!! The customer service throughout the park was fantastic and the choice of the kids is endless. The tokens are a little expensive so you do need about £20 purely for the rides. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing safari park. Lions and tigers view was breathtaking and mesmerising. Taking a car inside will give u much closer look n drive thru besides the lions. No car is no problem as all animals are within a closed vicinity’s n very well planned location. Huge play area for kids n loads of options to eat

I took my mother, wheelchair user, who enjoyed the outing. There was no trouble with access to the viewing balconies. However, some were steep and needed a good push up and care when descending. There is plenty to do and see for young people and keep them amused that doesn't cost any extra once admission has been paid. For lunch we went into the restaurant, which was going like a fair. Meals are ordered using the digital menus and qr on the tables. We did not have long to wait before it was delivered to our table. The food for what we purchased was reasonably priced. My only grumble was that the noise in the restaurant was quite loud. Especially with very excited young people. Some sound deadening cladding on the walls would help. There are plenty of areas for people to eat their own meals and even an area with many barbecue pits. There is even a fire pit that people can use to melt their marshmallows. Dotted around the park are stalls selling drinks and snacks. We spent a pleasant three hours at the park. I would recommend it. Lots to do, lots to see and I think it is good value for money.
