This shop is situated inside Dobbies. It's brilliant, the staff are friendly polite and can't do enough for you. The shop is small, dark and perfect to bring the little ones to. There is a small outside section where the sell ponds and large filtration kits. They also sell large koi there and as an added bonus, which I think is a great idea, you can buy koi fish food and let the little ones feed the fish. Excellent shop brilliant service. 👍

Popped in today looking for some stuff for my turtles, although there wasn’t much for turtles there, the lady working there was super helpful and informative and I ended up leaving with some lovely catfish who are settling in lovely with my turtles! Would really recommend!

Great place! Staff are very friendly and helpful with excellent customer service skills. Feel like I have made 3 new friends as I've been in there a few times. The staff actually take the time to talk to you about your tank and what fish are suitable and also tell you in depth about the different species and advise you on the best way to keep the fish healthy. Not only that they are very good value for money, with multiple deals on the fish. All the fish in the store are healthy and well looked after and the tanks are all spotlessly clean. It can be hard to trust pet shops at times, but these people you can trust!

Been to 2 previous Aquariums gave us wrong info and weren’t very customer friendly, we then went to Maidenhead aquatics in Speke and would not look back!!!!, Sarah, Gary and Paul are all excellent friendly and very Helpful! give great advise, and don’t make you feel silly for asking basic questions in fact they encourage you to ask questions!, we love going to the shop for our fish accessories and also to see the staff, they have a wide variety of accessories an everything you want if you want it they have got it, overall we would 100% recommend Maidenhead Aquarium Speke and would not go anywhere else!!!!!.

Well what can I say that will temp you to visit this store? Let's start with the staff, they are very keen, knowledgeable and will try and help you the best way they can. The shop is packed full of Marine, Tropical and Cold water fish. Whilst I was in the shop they were waiting on a new shipment of Koi to arrive ready for the Pond season. I honestly don't think you could ask for anything more from this store. Worth a visit.

Great place to take little ones as they can feed the fish for just £1 , then look at all the other fish, you can spend an hour two here my granddaughter and her friends love it

Very clean shop litrally not 1 fish was dead or not for sale it's a little bit pricey but you pay for what you get really good quality fish, Sarah the young lady has done a real good job in this shop, would like too see some cichlids there or the odd oddballs made it clear no fish there would survive in my tank an she still talked about the hobby, plus shes fit big bonus!

Disappointed and saddened to see an entire tank of dead fish near closing time, conditions are poor and despite this the fish are expensive. Needs some TLC. Would recommend trying more local independent fish shops. Staff are kind and helpful however.

Have to give 3 stars as I asked for 2 doc fish and got a Corydoras and some weird fish haha but I will be going back for me doc fish as got one but want him to have friends

A friend recommended I visited here as the staff are so helpful and knowledgable. I found that to be completely the case. I purchased several fish for my outside pond which are in great condition and was advised against choosing one for my tropical tank as it is particularly aggressive. The young manager and his 2 staff could not have been more helpful.

Really helpful staff and a great selection of stuff. we were scaping a new tank and they couldnt have done more for us. lots of plants and fish, slightly more expensive than other places, but its in Dobbies so thats what id expect. x

Really like this shop go to it all the time have a nice selection of equipment and dry goods and some beautiful fish I ordered £40 worth of aquatic plants from my tank which were beautiful but the man put all my plants in one bag long stem plants when in first with smaller potted plants after that about 12 plants and all went into one bag so my stem plants which had beautiful red leaves on got ripped off and stands with broken I could not be used was not happy when I got home simple mistake which cost me not them

Fantastic place, they took my aggressive fish off me and gave great advice on how to look after my remaining fish. We are going back shortly to add more fish to our tank. I will not shop anywhere else for fish supplies.

One of the best Maidenhead aquatics in the North West. By far has the most friendly and Knowledgeable staff ready to help. Whether your a beginner or advanced in the hobbie the staff here will be able to help you with whatever you need. Great prices and a wide range of both tropical and marine fish you cant go wrong. The fish in the tanks always look amazingly healthy which is important, they look after them. Never any dirty tanks. The store also poses a massive range of decorations, filters and stones. Special mentions to Gary and Paul who always make you feel welcome and do everything they can to make sure you leave a happy customer. Exceptional customer service. I highly recommend 👌

Everytime I visit the young lad is fantastic his customer service is 110% I think he is about 21. He deserves to know how good he is good at his job and I will be visiting again very soon.
