Amazing shop.. love love love. Christmas is a Grotto on steroids and I had to stop my other half from buying a Giant Reindeer 🦌 because he loved it that much!! Must see if you are near one. Big shout out to the lovely Security on the door

Some of the staff working here can be quite rude to customers and seem obstructive to refunds for faulty goods they try everything to get out of refunding I've had a few bad experiences with untrained and unskilled staff at the bromborough branch. I've also seen products that are clearly returns as the products where sellotaped up clearly having been opened before. I used to shop here but the customer service level is very poor which is just not acceptable in today's marketplace the range needs to remember its customers can choose to shop elsewhere they also should remember customers statutory rights.

Great place to shop. Massive range of products. Prices are higher than the competition though. You can find the same products in B&M at much lower prices. Don't believe me? Look for yourself. Otherwise I love shopping here.

I love the Range. Particularly their range of products for home decor. They have some really good quality products but sometimes can be a bit expensive. Often can find clearance sale products too.

The blonde lady on the customer service desk customer service skills are absolutely shocking! This is the second time she has been extremely rude and obnoxious I didn’t mention it the first time I was returning a faulty torch the batteries that were in there had corroded inside and she blatantly said they are not from there which they was I had bought Duracell to put in there and it wouldn’t even turn on she was arguing to replace it but it was the last one so eventually got a refund when I asked for a manager. I have worked in customer service myself for 26 years and don’t know how or why she is in a customer service desk with no skills or friendliness whatsoever. I ordered a picture online for my mum. I took my driving licence as it asked on the email ( all my details ) to take ID to collect and found myself begging for my mums £65 picture as I didn’t have any ID in my mums address ( left home at 24 years ago ) my mum has just had major surgery so couldn’t collect but I had ordered it my email address I tried to tell her what picture it is and she said well we can’t see it can we as it’s all boxed up look! Eventually got the picture but this is ridiculous I never write reviews but I’m sure I’m not the only one she has been snotty and rude to - customer service counter without the customer service.

This visit to the Range was supposed to be a quick visit to get some fish food. £93 later I went to my car with so many interesting items. It has improved 100% and I found myself wanting to go up and down ever Isle as I didn't know what was going to be round each corner. It now has well stocked shelves and really good prices. I actually look forward to going again. The staff were so much more friendly too. Definitely recommend a visit!

Never any baskets. Poorly lit shop and the queuing system is ridiculous. I went in today and watched at least 5 customers walk out leaving their baskets in the aisle after seeing the queue.

Had exactly what I wanted and the very helpful Customer Services staff pointed me in the right direction, well done.

Very helpful, especially lady who served me Monday evening and Tuesday morning who was on Customer Service. Good choice of products, has Iceland frozen foods in side it too. Plenty of parking on Croft Retail park.

Love the shop but the toilets are in an awful state. The first one was blocked by a lot of toilet roll, the next 2 didn't lock as the door had either dropped or the catch was falling off one was out of order and the one I used was just generally dirty. I understand that customers can be filthy but toilets should be regularly checked and maintained.

I bought a remote control light plug set. 2 units with a remote. I had noticed that, of the two on display, both had been tampered with. One had the rubber key pad on remote loose and the set I bought had sellotape on one edge.. However I decided to purchase one of them. I tried the units at my home however the remote appeared not to function. My son had difficulty in putting the battery into the remote compartment. Despite this the remote did not work. I took the bus back to the Bromborough store and customer services. A lady named Collette according to my refund receipt served me. I explained briefly what was wrong to her. She then attempted to remove the battery.. Eventually using a putty knife to get the battery out! As she was doing this she has moved away from me to the rear counter of the desk. I then moved away from the till area. As I did I noticed her turn around and glance over her shoulder distainfully at me? She the turned further away and as I moved she retorted, " Don't watch me!". How bloody rude of her! I felt slightly uneasy and apologised. Now feeling slightly purturbed I ignored any further communication from her. She then went over to some plug sockets nearby to test the remote with another battery. Still feeling very angry at her rudeness I ignored her when she asked, "What are these for?" She then looked at me again, most distainfully and I replied, "ow, I thought you did not want me to watch you??".. She stifled a fake laugh then said ow it's just I don't like being watched! Why are you working in customer services then I thought? When I said that another member if staff glared at me as if I were being rude! This is simply not acceptable behaviour towards a customer. I got my refund and went elsewhere to purchase a working set. Totally unacceptable. Collette needs to retire or get restrained from face to face contact.Completely bad experience, undeserved of me. Just talking to my daughter about this and she said the same woman was the same with her and her mother. Collette needs to retrain or be removed from front of house.

Enjoyed the shop but to have all customers queuing at only one till when four were open and shoppers given 10 minutes notice of the closing at 4.30pm on Boxing day was a disgrace . Many customers left all their goods at the till and left buying nothing .

Pushing a wheelchair, staff rude, unhelpful, asked to put bulky items behind counter whilst continuing to shop and push wheelchair but made to feel a nuisance. On paying, asked to hurry as other customers needed serving. Couldn't carry everything but two lovely customers came to our aid. Staff seem under pressure and queues were enormous. 😞

Visited store on 18-08-2022 at approx 5pm, store had a cleaning station at the entrance with blue roll and disinfectant in a spray bottle, there were plenty of baskets available and the store was well stocked, prices can vary with different departments but can find a good bargain, staff are friendly and always helpful

I had a very bad experience with The Range customer service team… purchased a 3 in 1 air couch with built in AC pump of bestway brand.. After two months I found the joint was ripped and couldn’t seal by myself and I haven’t used it frequently as well.. so for this I approached the customer service team of The Range but they didn’t look at it or replace it either…They were like the ripped one can’t be fixed.. Is this the right way to give value for customer’s money???

Situated on the retail park down the road from where I live. Popped in to pick up some paint for the weekend's DIY project. Good selection and variety of products from DIY to homeware.

Not always full stocked and there seems to be the same old products as there has been for years. Staff can be hit and miss ie some are very stern and have been on a few occasions where as others will go the extra mile. Overall though a good store

  • 4/5 Carrie D. 5 months ago on Google
The staff are great and its always well stocked. My only grievance is that even in peak hours when the queue is literally snaking around the store there aren't enough people on the tills. The wait to be served is a bit long

They have such a wonderful Christmas display, everything you can think of to make your Christmas perfect, from grand decorations and lights, greenery, to crockery, at such great affordable prices too, that you just can't go wrong!!! Plus a great variety of other items, again at affordable prices, plus with a lovely cafe, you could plan a day in The Range easily!!!! We love it!!!!

I definitely cannot let this go, the awful experience that my mother endured during her time at the Range store, at the customer service point. The woman who should have treated my mother (customer) with respect and kindness did the opposite, she was dismissive towards her and with a humiliating tone addressing my mother. Basically my mother bought a Christmas bedding set and the person who was packing the items in the bag forgot to add part of the bedding set and she went back to The Range in the customer service area where the employee spoke so disparagingly and without reason told my mother that she had to watch the security video to confirm my mother's story, even though my mother brought her the receipt and explained what happened. The employee made her feel like a liar, helpless, after a long wait and having made my mother feel miserable just because her English is not her first language, the employee decided to return the missing part of the purchase. The lady, a customer service employee, should be ashamed of having humiliated my mother just because English is not her first language. I hope that if you have a mother she doesn’t find the kind of person that my mother encountered, somebody without kindness and without the understanding to those that need the most.

Went for wallpaper, it seems like it's a dying thing these days the amount of decorating places that no longer sell it or sell it for 26 quid a roll.... we found the perfect paper to do the living room up & it was less than 15 quid a roll, very happy. All the xmas stuff is out too, didn't have time to look at it but I will defo be back 😁

I absolutely love The Range. It has amazing house and garden products and decorations. Also has a nice Arts and Crafts section. I love popping in at different times of the year to see what they got on and I never leave empty handed, be it a pair of curtains or simply some large sized herb jars. They have garlands for every occasion. Got our Xmas tree from here 10 years ago and it's still nice and sturdy. Every year I come back for more Xmas decorations to add to the collection and they never disappoint. Definitely recommend, especially on Halloween and Xmas, the store is at their best.

I find the range brilliant. If you need something, the range probably has it. It's wheelchair accessible and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It has a great range of products and the prices are usually really good. The layout is pretty simple to work out, and if you have any issues, the staff will be able to direct you. Bromborough has tons of parking spaces for all of the shops, so it's usually pretty easy to find somewhere to park. Definitely a nice place to shop whether you are looking for home essentials or the odd gift.

Reasonable stock levels, but unable to find what I required. I found what I needed in the Deeside store. Cafe was good, staffing level of store not so.

Many different things all under one roof. Everything from cushion inserts to cat litter, light bulbs to ornaments. Pricing good. In particular the art department has basics at good prices. One negative, there always seems to be long queues and not many tills open

Decent sized store, usually have a great variety of stock. Now includes an Iceland which is handy. The staff are friendly, especially a lady called Zedenka who can't do enough for the customers.

Always busy in here but that's to be expected. The staff are friendly and helpful, customer service is right by the door so I think that is very helpful for the customer, over Christmas the staff are always hands on and deserve to be spoken to like a normal person... the staff are all troopers during busy seasons.

Very good prices although shop seemed a bit gloomy in places with some lights out, understandable with the price of power. One major item I was specifically looking for there was ordered without problem, complete with delivery date. Unfortunately with one item I wanted and a substitute item, they could not provide a delivery date as they were in a container on route. Another item on display they could not guarantee supplying at all. Member of staff I dealt with was very helpful. A good range of decorating products at good prices made me shop there instead of a dedicated DIY shop.

  • 3/5 Tristan A. 1 year ago on Google
Strange place, cool down stairs and booming hot up stairs. Half the ground floor is well lit and the other half was like the black hole of Calcutta, seriously the section near the mini Iceland's and home essentials was like the same sorta light level you have when you're going for that special mood lighting, no idea why it was so dark but for people with poor or limited vision this would be a hazard. Staff friendly and good facilities, toilets in a strange place but overall a tidy if not weird hot/cold or light and dark place to be..

Great service from Sue. Ordered a water feature for collection in store. 1) Arrived 24 hours ahead of expectation and 2) arranged for colleague to assist me to my car with large parcel. Excellent value on the purchase too, 240v water feature standing 1mtr high with LED lights for £120. Beat that elsewhere, I doubt it.

  • 1/5 Stephen A. 1 year ago on Google
Went in to buy a padlock and the price was £6 different at the till than was it said on the shelf. Was told that the price on the till is the correct one and there had been some stock movement and that was the problem. Wasn't happy with the attitude of the customer service person who assisted, very poor customer service

  • 5/5 Lee W. 1 year ago on Google
Has alot to offer. Toilet upstairs if you or children need to go. Travelator to get upstairs. Large craft area, garden furniture, outdoor games, Iceland, pet food, toys and litter etc. Good first point of call for most things

  • 3/5 john g. 1 year ago on Google
Great for lights, shades, wallpapers, cushions, pictures, bedding, festive and themed items. If I was manager of this place, I would make sure that price stickers hadn't come off items or rails, I wouldn't put something in my trolley I didn't know the price of. I will keep coming back as there are always bargains to be had. There is a dimly lit area of shop downstairs which could be improved. Toilets for disabled and baby changing next to cafe on upper level. Staff are polite and helpful

  • 3/5 Helene B. 1 year ago on Google
Shop had a good selection of goods in there. Staff were friendly enough and the lady who served us at the till was lovely. I visited the ladies toilets and they were clean but need a refresh! I was in the area visiting my family so I wouldn't normally visit this particular branch, but I was disappointed with the scruffyness of the store. Its very tired and it shows.

  • 2/5 Paul D. 1 year ago on Google
Helpful staff until I came to the till area. The attitude of the supervisor on tills was awful, ordering customers around and spoke to me abruptly twice, only had a few small items but rather than help, she made things worse with a horrible manner and attitude. I left the items on the shelf and made my purchase elsewhere, where they understood good customer service. Only gave 2 stars for other staff, zero for her

Nice store with lots of varying items you can purchase from picture frames, Iceland food, outdoor furniture, wallpaper and many more. Only problem was the till staff made myself and my father feel embarrassed. This was due to my father being on crutches from having a total knee replacement and myself wearing a neck brace from breaking my neck and a orthopaedic boot on from fracturing my foot. We were told sternly to remove the items from the basket and place them on the counter, which I was attempting to do already, I admit I was a bit slow, but due to my condition I couldn't do it fast.... she then said it would be easier to place the basket on the floor to remove the items, which I replied that I couldn't bend down due to the neck brace, my father was embarrassed and said give us a minute love, I'm on walking sticks and she's like that...... Referring to my neck brace and boot. No kind words, no thank you just very rude and we left the store feeling embarrassed
