Not being dramatic when I say this was the nicest roast I’ve ever had. We phoned at half four to see if they had space and they fit us in for five. Was busy enough when we arrived so there was a nice little buzz. Pictured is a children's roast for myself as I don’t have a full sized stomach, and my partners normal roast. I had chicken, he had beef. I appreciated that there were no questions asked when I ordered from the children’s menu as some places refuse and I have to explain the medical aspect which is often uncomfortable. All of the meat was cooked to perfection. Every aspect of the dishes was literally spot on. Spoken to friends since who have all said how lovely the rest of the menu is so I’ll definitely be going back to try more. Atmosphere was lovely, great ambience. Staff all friendly and helpful. Perfect Sunday afternoon here.

Visited: 02/04/2022 - 7pm We both enjoyed our meals and the food was tasty enough. The dirty fries were huge. However, after 15 mins of sitting waiting with no menu or drinks order being taken, I had to ask if we could have a drink?? Which wasn't the best start, especially as the was only two other table in. Would definitely give it another go though.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Sunday lunch can only be described as delicious and value for money. I recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, best I've ever had!

What a great find this restaurant is. We were in the West Kirby Tap next door and the pizza kitchen was closed. The brilliant staff next door recommended we pop here and they would allow the food to be brought into the pub. We ordered the three bao bun meal, cauliflower wings, salt and pepper chicken and wontons. Each dish was fresh and delicious and come in at £30, with the takeaway discount. We ordered next door and they kindly brought it to our table in the Tap. We'll definitely pop in for a meal in the restaurant. Very impressed.

Three of us had the Roast on Sunday . Pork belly and beef. Absolutely gorgeous and the gravy .. the best I’ve ever tasted. Really friendly staff and good atmosphere too Can’t wait to try the burgers next ! Thankyou

Lamb Gyro was incredible. Homemade pita and the lamb was delicious. Fries were some of the best I’ve had around. The manager is super personal and made a great wine recommendation. Will be going back!

Fab place, I stumbled across someone recommending it online. Took the whole family there! Food was great and the owner was amazingly helpful. Highly recommended the belly pork starter and Sunday roast.

We had a fantastic meal, everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. I had the Katsu chicken burger and my partner had the striplion roast. We ate pudding too and it was AMAZING . The sticky toffee pudding is the best I have ever had - it was beautiful - sadly we ate them so quickly I didn't get time to take a picture 😂. The food and drinks were also really reasonably priced and the staff were really friendly. I can't recommend Grand Ave enough, we will definitely be back.

Everyone is super nice and friendly! This was our first time eating here (my husband gets takeaways often). The burgers are amazing (mine was meat free and my daughter got a chicken one). Not one bad thing to say! Definitely recommend ❤️❤️

Went for a Father's Day treat and had an amazing meal. Pleasant staff, fast service and delicious food. We shared some of the small plate selection and were not disappointed. Be seeing you again (soon hopefully!)

I saw this was rated 4.7 and knew it must be fairly good. But even with this preconception the food exceeded my expectations. You can tell that the chefs take pride in the food they send out, because every small detail was really great. And the price is still extremely reasonable, despite being much better than your average burger restaurant. Truffle fries are delicious, and the katsu burger and superfood salad were spot on. Not to mention the friendly staff!

I visited with my young family for a Sunday roast after a couple.of recommendations. Definitely the best roast in west kirby and great value for money. Amazing service and overall a lovely relaxed vibe. I've had take away burgers in the past and always excellent. I cant wait to go back!

I was there a few days ago and the kitchen was nice enough to prepare a brunch dish for me, even if it was after brunch! The waiters were extremely nice and friendly, answering every question really quickly and kindly. I ended up there as I was looking for something to eat and most of the restaurants I had chosen were closed, I was prepared for some fast-food-type meal but got these and I loved them so much! The prices are not the lowest, but for £10-£13 you can get a five-star meal and service, also, the portion seemed small but I actually was full after meal. I will definitely be coming back, thank you so much for this experience, it was amazing!

Found this place looking for dog friendly restaurants in West Kirby and I wasn't disappointed... Phoned and booked a table without an issue with a nice friendly chap who was polite and helpful. The drinks, food, venue and staff are all top notch and cannot fault any of them.. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food, which is also a bonus... Highly recommend this dog friendly place and will definitely be going back.

Firstly how my call was received for a booking. This was received courteously and efficiently. The staff welcomed us to table. I ordered the Cheese Philly steak sandwich with fries and my son Steak n eggs. The cheese phillysteak sandwich was fantastic. The bread was fresh and light, the steak n cheese filling was sensational. The tenderness and flavour perfect. My son really enjoyed the steak n eggs. Both are plates were emptied. BTW Sunday lunch was flying around. The plates looked massive. Thoroughly recommend this eaterie

Absolutely gorgeous food. Just had a Sunday lunch and am so full ! Great selection of beers and the cocktails looked great too. The music and general vibe was so cool. A fab little find, definitely worth checking out.

Headed in for a late breakfast/brunch without a booking. Restaurant was busy but they were able to seat us quickly. Ordered a latte and an unusual breakfast of chorizo and black pudding with poached egg and hollandaise_sauce. Absolutely delicious. The right amount to eat and drink and really tasty food. We both had the same food and drink, so I can only comment on one menu item in this review. We'll be back and almost certainly, will pick the same items from the menu next time.

Had our Mother's Day Sunday roast here yesterday. My first time here but quote honestly, the best restaurant roast I've had. The pork belly was exquisite but then everything on the plate was too. Staff so nice, appropriately chatty and met all our needs. Thank you chef and staff.

Went in for a Sunday roast and loved every aspect of our experience. The service was impeccable along with the restaurant atmosphere which accompanied a beautiful meal and bottle of wine, not to forget the best stick toffee pudding I have certainly ever had! Recommend for everyone to go an try especially the sticky toffee pudding.
