Because I made a booking at the desk rather than online (at 11pm & they had rooms available) they increased the price to double the normal rate! Disgusting. Very basic shower facilities - I know cheaper hotels that have far better showers, customer service and overall value.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights three days, staff were brilliant and offered us lots of advice as we were not familiar with the area. Right next to the main bus station, shopping centre, local food and drinking pubs and taxis are available to pick you up from right outside the main doors. The room was fantastic, beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. I couldn’t recommend a better hotel!

Booked for my birthday 10th Feb carpets in corridor stick and spilt crisps everywhere room stuck and hardly any toiletries in bathroom. Had the worst nights sleep ever awake till 5am people slamming doors and running up and down corridor and up above shouting let me in and banging doors and very noisy don't stay if you can help it it spoilt my birthday and few days away which both my husband and I really needed. One good thing reception staff on booking in was helpful. Will not be staying ever again it was always our go to hotel when we stay in town not again

Best thing about this hotel is the location but also has some other great qualities. Super close to a number of shops, restaurants and bars. Bus and train stations 5 minutes away and a good size tesco right next door. Bed was comfortable and room was really clean and great value for money at £40 a night

Premier Inn has always been one of my top choices for accommodation. My short stay here was good and comfortable. The room’s size is ample if you have luggages and the facilities were clean. Checking in and out processes were also smooth and efficient. My only gripe with this location is the poor Wifi speed and you have to pay if you want faster speed. Hopefully this can be improved!

The hotel and room was to a good standard. Breakfast was ok with plenty of cereals, and hot drinks. The heating in the room was not very effective and it took a long time for the room to warm up. No free parking as it's right in centre. Plenty of car parks nearby. Other than that, no issues.

Fantastic Customer Service all round from every member of staff, from Breakfast time to dinner, time run like a family business. Rooms are also good, if you have one with a window. Staff were more than helpful to ensure my request for one was fulfilled. Really enjoyed my stay there Thank you to you all at Hanover Street, Liverpool Premier Inn...A Premier Service from Premier staff. Ps. Hope you enjoyed the box of celebrations has a thank you. 👍😃

Stayed over during exam times and I have to say the staff were absolutely amazing. They took good care of me and my friend during the stay. As they knew we had exams, out of good gesture gave us some chocolates and note wishing us a good luck. They really look after there customers and ensure we’re comfortable. Any concerns or problems they will solve them in a tick. 100% recommend.

This Premier in is in the perfect location close to Paradise Street and only a 10 minute walk from Pier Head and Albert Docks. It's also close to Liverpool One bus station and there's a main bus stop right across from the hotel entrance which services the airport and most main routes. The rooms are a good size and the beds are super comfortable, though they are very high and as someone not overly tall, it did feel a bit like I needed a running start to hop up onto the bed!! Both mornings of our stay, we ordered breakfast which, for £9.99 per person, was excellent. It's served buffet style and includes both continental and cooked as well as unlimited coffee, fruit, cereal and pastries. Everything tasted really fresh and well cooked and we left both days really full and not needing lunch. My one complaint is the shower over the bath, it's so dangerous to get out of. Because the bath is so deep and the only thing to grip onto is a towel rail, you're effectively stepping out of a wet, very slippy bath onto a slippy tiled floor. I wear glasses and my depth perception isn't great without them, so when stepping out of the shower, I turned my ankle a little bit. For the price, I'd definitely stay here again though, because the location was perfect and it felt very safe. You need to use your room key to reach the room levels above reception, as well as to access the corridor within the floor. For such a central hotel, it is really quiet too!

My wife and I recently stayed here and had a great time. The hotel is well located and handy to shops etc. It's also only a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station and probably only 3 minutes from Liverpool Central Station. We had a top floor (5th) room which was clean and without faults. There was even a bath there too, which we prefer over a shower.

We had some work in our building at home which meant we were out of water for a couple of days and were in need of a hotel. The hotel despite looking new from outside actually feels ancient and in dire need of a refurbishment. It strongly smells of dust from the carpets. The room is old with the bathroom needing much refurbishment. The window was significantly covered with bird droppings which is what you are greeted to. It looked quite old rather than fresh which is why it is disappointing they have not bothered to clean it or at least point it out before offering the room out of courtesy. They should be handing out two keys for a family room booked for three people automatically rather than me going and asking for it. I left my phone charger at the hotel (probably cost 15 pounds for a new cable and plug so no big deal) but I did call them. Got two promises for a call back and that they would retrieve the charger from thee room. Unfortunately, no call back or anything. It`s not worth calling any further for a phone charger. The interior of the rooms also looks all over the place with colors etc. It`s my first time in a premier inn and I must say I have been disappointed. I will strongly avoid it from now. My stays at Travelodge on the other hand have been immaculate and were true value for money.

Location , location and did I say location again ? Slap bang in the heart of the city but just a pigeon poo away from the hub bub of Liverpool one. Surrounded by top bars and restaurants but tucked away . It's just simply a great located hotel. The rooms were spotless and immaculate, Premier Inn seem to have got a grip of the budget hotel stay without compromising on standards. Breakfast was usual fare , substantial and quality and the lay out of the breakfast area is very good with a very relaxing ambiance . Staff throughout our stay were superb , shout out to reception whoc checked us in , girl from Allerton, didn't catch her name but was efficient and very knowledgeable. So all in all , thoroughly reccomend.

The hotel is centrally located to all the amenities and shops. The Albert Dock is walking distance from the hotel. Plenty to explore. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is made to order. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is parking next to the hotel but the carpark do not give Premier Inn customers any discount to park. I used the Park Bee Car Park on Heathfield Street and that was £10 for 24hrs. You then get 10% off for staying at the Premier Inn. Again walking distance from the carpark yo the hotel. Cannot fault the hotel.

We always stay at this hotel but the last 2 or 3 times we've stayed its been a let down ..first the room was ready but now charge an extra £10 to get in early..In the bar they advertise cocktails but haven't had the ingredients to make then . They have had no prosecco both the last times and the draught lager has been off . Our room was dilapidated and the air con didnt work . We've always stayed here but dont know if we will again . Big let down cause it's in a great location

Nice hotel, brilliant location, right in the center of Liverpool, we upgraded to a premier plus room and they are lovely definitely worth the extra money! The staff are very friendly and the view from the top floor is great! Would highly recommend if you are in Liverpool and on a budget

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed. Excellent stay staff all friendly nothing to much trouble. Location just right for all the sites of interest and the shops. Good quality food especially if you take up meal deal package excellent value.

The rooms were great. I mean they had everything I needed. I loved the whole lighting, the purple lighting, sets the mood right. And the room service, well even though I had to go downstairs to order, because they didn't have telephone services, the food was nice. The hotel is close to decent pubs and a convenience store. The service was alright, felt like one person had to do a lot of tasks like tend the bar and the check-in etc. The good thing is they were able to accommodate me even though I hadn't booked ahead. I enjoyed my stay there overall, the manager was nice.

This for me is situated perfectly and have stayed here many times. Standard prem in rooms, very cosy and clean. Only downside is that you have to notify staff for room service the next day, which means drinks or coffees are not replenished. Rather than it be an automatic things, in this case it's now not done unless you notify someone... From what I gathered from the info provided, perhaps I've got it wrong. Regardless, great location, quiet at night, windows, air con, generally love prem Inn standards so had a lovely stay as always!

Ideal location for liverpool one. Has a tesco express very close for all essentials, and at night has someone on the door so feels very secure. Room felt clean- you know what you're getting with premier inn. Very close to bus station for the airport bus. The guy on check in was very friendly and had some banter with us that made it feel personable. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Liverpool

The room was clean, but lacks a phone for additional amenities such as extra pillows or food getting brought to your room. The staff member with a distinctive gait appears to be dedicated and helpful, Lets do a around up I would stay here again and see if they can improve on some of the things I have seen.

This is a perfect location to buses, trains the town the docks. Absolutely spotless and the food was excellent. The breakfast was so hot and tasty and so much available. We will definitely stay here again. The rooms where so quiet we slept so well. The only negative is that we couldn't open a window. We love a bit of fresh air. The room had air conditioning so I understand why the need for unopening windows. Excellent Premier Inn and friendly staff

Perfect for a trip to Liverpool. Very central, a short stroll to Liverpool One, The Cavern Club, and the sea front. Staff at the hotel, were super friendly, polite, and civil. We stayed in a Premier Plus room, and this came with a fridge and a coffee machine as well as a kettle for tea. Breakfast was all you could eat, hot and delicious 😋 Will stay again for sure!! 👍🏻👍🏻

The location is fantastic. The restaurant is very badly run. The manager made the whole experience very unpleasant. Room not cleaned when requested. TV faulty. I could go on? Needs a refresh.

Fantastic location - easy access to Liverpool One/Albert Dock and very close to Liverpool One Bus Station if you're coming from the airport. There's also a Tesco right beside it for getting whatever you need like water! Breakfasts were good (kids eat free!). Staff were very friendly and obliging! We arrived early and they were able to get us rooms close together which was great! Rooms were clean. Left baggage was a godsend on day of arrival and departure! Will be staying here next time we go!!!

Air con wasn’t working, complained twice, once at breakfast to lady checking our room off the breakfast list (she made a note & said she’d pass it on) complained again on day 3 after a terrible nights sleep (had to have window open, room was still boiling and seagulls kept us awake all night) this time to man on reception, returned late lunch and still not working so we didn’t stay the 3rd night even though we’d paid as we were exhausted from no sleep. Complained to premier inn after, but apparently our fault for not taking the names of staff we complained to, so no money back…obviously wouldn’t recommend!

First time at this Premier Inn. A great location for Liverpool City centre. Only a short work to Liverpool 1 and the River Mersey, Albert Dock. The rooms are very clean and very modern. The beds are extremely comfortable. Easy to use air conditioning system to keep your room at the right temperature. I would happily return to this hotel.

We had a Premier Plus room. 5th floor, so super quiet despite the bustling city below. Great location, amazing bed and pristine clean room. The value for money for such a quality stay is unbeatable. Wi-Fi was a bit unpredictable, but that was ok

Best Hotel in Liverpool centre foe stag doo or just a general weekend away or trip. City centre. Close to train station and plenty places to park nearby. Could not fault it. Hotel was clean and tidy and very busy.

Easy to find, great location, clean and fresh room. Electronic check in is the only reason we gave it a three on service, check in didn’t work and as we were on a group booking we didn’t have the postcode or booking reference, member of staff came to help but was a little short in his handling of our situation. Qpark next door is literally a two minute walk so easy if your driving in and out.

  • 4/5 Derek B. 7 months ago on Google
Good quiet clean rooms. Great breakfasts and good blackout curtains and the quiet ment 2 excellent nights sleep. They gave us discount on the carpark which was also a good saving

  • 5/5 John L. 6 months ago on Google
Great location. Q park next door is expensive though. Easy to get to docks, shopping centre, bars and touristy bits. Rooms are very comfortable and good selection for breakfast

  • 5/5 John W. 6 months ago on Google
Great location in the heart on Liverpool docks area. Lots around the hotel to see and do. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and always plenty there. Didn't like the way you have to go up the lift to get to the reception on the 2nd floor, but in is what it is. No car park like most city centre places but a Q park 2 doors down. Would stay there again the next time I visit the area for work or a getaway with the other half.

The main problem with this hotel is the reception. None of the check in monitors were working, and there was no one to meet and greet you, so it feels budge end, but at £150 per room, it wasn't exactly. Security on the door at night check you are residents, which is both comforting and disconcerting. Breakfast was tasteless but fair with quite a lot of choice, it was a self-service buffet and was what you would expect for this kind of hotel. The room was spotless but very basic smemities. No toilet brush or bottled water or removable shower head, meaning you have to get your head under. The room was good temperature on a cold night. Bed was as advertised, very comfy, and nearby parking was £24 for £24 hours, so not too bad. Would I stay there again ....for between £80 and £100. Breakfast was only worth £8.99 per person.

Rooms were lovely, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Reception staff were very uncommunicative and no help at all. Also, email suggested early checkin would be available on arrival. This was not the case. Would be much better if you could choose and pay for early checkin prior to arrival.

Great hotel in a brill spot for shopping and nightlife. Have stayed here a few times. Rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely nights' stay. Thank you

  • 2/5 Sarah J. 3 months ago on Google New
The location of the hotel is great for the city centre. Service from the staff was awful not understanding what we were asking, room booking was wrong on their system to what I had booked. The room was not great black mould from condensation all around the window, dust on tables and top of the bed, the purple lighting stopped working so was a nightmare when kids needed a small light on, air conditioning didn't work so even in winter with 2 adults and 2 kids in the room it was ridiculously hot. The bathroom was clean but the shower head had clearly not been cleaned in a long time you could see brown/grey slime over the surface of the head and all around the holes where the water comes out. Requested a room clean as we were there for a few nights and this did not get done. Had to ask on the first day for towels and only one big towel and a hand towel had been put in the room. I would not stay here again even with how convenient it is for the city centre

On our arrival we were greeted by jess extremely friendly and very helpful . It was our first visit to Liverpool and I asked for some recommendations of places to visit and eat . And on our return from our afternoon out their was a printed list of her recommendations and also a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my 50th birthday. I honestly can’t remember any member of staff going above and beyond like this In any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I would like to thank Jess and the amazing team at the Premier Inn Liverpool One .

Our second visit to this fabulous hotel in the centre of Liverpool. We loved it so much the first time we had no hesitation in coming back again. It didn't disappoint!

  • 3/5 Sean G. 2 years ago on Google
A little overpriced imo, no onsite parking but parking nearby for an extra fee. Room not quite as good as a typical Prem inn, bathroom a little dated and smelt old/of urine, needed a real good clean or starting again. Bed and staff fine.

Hotel staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you..nothing was to much for them especially Hollie(?) on reception was very friendly and sweet and liked having a giggle with you..Eleanor our waitress was great but the real shining star in our opinion was Rebecca from the restaurant at breakfast times who was exceptional in her customer service. She sorted out a very minor issue with tea trays being topped up and made sure we were happy and comfortable and the speed and efficiency of her service particularly stood out. I would definitely use this again. Rooms were clean smelt good and the beds were very very comfy

  • 5/5 M G. 2 years ago on Google
Overall a great place to stay. Clean throughout, very comfy beds, couple of minor repairs could do with being done such as broken items in the bathroom. And if you are claustrophobic you might not like the totally sealed window with secondary glazing making it impossible to open for air .... Other than that , really great place to stay. Location for shops etc you couldn't get better.

Excellent location in the docks. Poor room, the bathroom door did not shut, the walls are paper thin so everything can be heard within the hallway and adjoining room. No parking. Big fan of premier inns but this one was a let down

We booked this hotel for a birthday visit to Liverpool as it is very well situated for the centre. The hotel was very clean throughout, the staff were excellent as was the breakfast, which was cooked to order so was lovely and fresh. Definitely would recommend.

Check in was quick and simple process, they gave us room 455 on top floor, My girlfriend then realized the wifi was not working on the top floor where our room was allocated, also there was no coffee mugs in the room. Went downstairs to reception and the kindly offered a different room (234) on second floor. Next day we did not get any housekeeping service, but wasn't a big issue since reception staff was able to help again. Breakfast and dinner options in Thyme restaurant are excellent and reasonably price.Strongly recommend to anyone who stays here. All in all, I would happily return any time and by the way please give a wage rise to Stefan and Michelle, they are kind, helpful and hard working individuals. Thank You

Yes the stay and the staff were incredibly nice. Enjoyed our stay. But when we checked out the staffs service was appauling. My sister forgot to put a valuable item in her bag. Now the staff are very unhelpful. It was removed by a housekeeper and now can't be found. Apparently it was in the linen according to her. Which is impossible as it was plugged it into the wall. So therefore she would've had to remove it and put it in lost and found. So we would not recommend leaving any sort of valuables electrical money or anything that can be taken. What is most disappointing is how the staff changed their attitude when we needed to find the item.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. I was reassured that there was 24-hr reception (and bar). My room was spacious and spotless clean. It has everything you would expect, hairdryer, hospitality tray and air-conditioning/heating. Most importantly from my point of view, I had a good night's sleep. There was the usual offering for breakfast : cooked and continental buffet which represented good value for money. This hotel is ideally placed for the city's amenities and attractions.

It's a Premier Inn, they're all the same you say. NOOOO! The staff here are so friendly and helpful it's unreal. We had a family room, we had pack of Family Circle biscuits as a welcome. The bag room that you store bags in whilst you go round the city and when you don't have access to your room. All administered by the staff, cheerfully and helpfully but not also taking any grief from other customers. They stood their ground. The room was clean and tidy and was a bigger family room that we have stayed in compared to some other Premier Inn. Great location too. Walking distance to theatre, museums, Liverpool 1 and docks. Tesco next door for anything you may have forgotten.

Myself and my partner stayed here last night as a final getaway before Christmas as we both work in the hospitality industry so know we won’t get to spend much time together over the next week or so. Upon arrival we experienced some difficulty paying due to a card machine issue but eventually got it sorted. We were in room 305 to begin with and upon trying to run a bath for myself, we discovered there wasn’t any hot water in the room, and went to reception to report it. A very kind gent came to our room to inspect and we were told we would have to move rooms, and for the inconvenience a free breakfast would be on them. We then moved to room 308 and everything seemed fine until i tried to run the bath again and found the tap was spewing out little black bits. Upon inspection of the tap, it was really grotty and instead of making a big song and dance about it - decided to use the shower to fill the bath up - I only have a shower at home so whenever we stay in a Premier Inn I always treat myself to a bath bomb so I can have a nice relaxing bath. When trying to turn the shower off I discovered that the tap was actually stuck on and this point I was that excited for my bath I’d already put the bath bomb in. So again, I went to reception and notified them of the issue and another kind gent came up and he couldn’t turn it off either, so went to try and see if he could sort the issue out for us. He wasn’t successful in doing so and again, had to move us to another room. By the time we had been moved rooms for the 2nd time, I didn’t want a bath as it had just hit midnight and I no longer had a bath bomb to use so went straight to bed. This morning I got up and opted for the shower and everything was fine. When we went for breakfast, the lady who checked us in, I believe her name was Bianca - informed us that she was notified of the issues we faced while she was at home and said a free breakfast wasn’t going to cut it and said she was going to refund the room for us, and that was incredibly sorry and embarrassed this had happened to us, especially because my partner is an employee of Whitbread. Bianca (apologies if this isn’t your name) you handled it so well and your team were amazing, and dealt with everything in a timely and professional manner, and for that I cannot thank you enough. The only reason I am giving the 5 star rating is because of the service we received from the Premier Inn staff as the bread for the toast this morning was still actually frozen.

The fire alarm kept going off about 1am-3am, even though there wasn’t a fire which wasn’t ideal as I was trying to sleep. However there was a lot of silence and a great location, loved being next to a big Tesco, easy to go get food and stuff.

Very good hotel right in the centre close to all the shops and a big Tesco & Home bargains just beside the hotel, I came from Northern Ireland and the bus from the airport is only £2 and it drops u off right at the hotel beside the home bargains totally perfect. The staff are all very nice both receptionst and the cleaners all lovely,. I would highly recommend this hotel and any time I come back to Liverpool I will stay here, I had originally booked Adelphi but the reviews scared me and I am glad I made the decision to stay here at the premier inn, I had a very comfortable nights sleep & great value for money.

Check-in at 3pm. At 5.30pm room still wasn't ready. A complete joke. Hotel itself if fine, nice rooms etc, staff are nice, great location.

Some reviews had this as tired and in need of renovation. I didnt find this to be the case. The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. We were allocated a room that smelt of cigarette smoke but were quickly and easily reallocated. There was a long queue to book in in reception and book in terminals were not in operation. Breakfast was adequate quality. Plenty of it but lukewarm and cold by the time I got to some items on my pate. Overall good value for money and a comfortable quiet night's sleep.
