Every single staff member I interacted with were so kind, warm, and professional. I am beyond grateful for their compassion during one of the most challenging days of my life. The wait was a little long between each step of my appointment, but I saw everyone there working their a$$es off so it definitely wasn't their fault, I imagine it's due to a funding/ staffing issue. But either way, they made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way and made sure I had zero questions left by the end of it all.

I wish I could give a zero star review, terrible clinic. The receptionist literally gave my drivers license to someone else and I got somebody else’s drivers license in return… Didn’t notice it until I went to use my license 6 days later and realized it wasn’t mine! Good thing I didn’t get pulled over or in a car accident or I would have been screwed. Lucky I got it back and gave the nice lady back hers, I had to drive almost 3 hours to get it back.. I’m thankful it didn’t fall into the wrong hands. I will not be coming back and will take my business elsewhere.

I wish there was a no stars option. I went in and had an out of pocket pay appointment. They treated me VERY unprofessional as I was in seeing the rude and uncaring nurse and the NP treated me poorly. Don't go here. They call me today and tell me they didn't even complete any of my labs because they got thrown out. So I paid for an uncomfortable experience for nothing. I will be contacting the Washington medical commission about it. Never been treated so poorly by professionals in my life. Waste of time and money and I left feeling very upset.

Honestly, I waited 3 hours on my first visit for my birth control insertion and it did cost me my job as I was working that day too. I understood it was Saturday but it was the way too long. The only good thing is one provider who did my insertion was really professional and make it pain less for insertion. She also gave me pain med afterwards which I really adores her! Then I requested for rescheduling my appointment with an African lady at the front desk for my annual checkup because I like the same provider. The African lady said she rescheduled for me to a further week for my annual check up , and it turned out she did not cancel my original appointment and it was hassle and made it like my fault as they called and emailed me said my missed my appointment. When I came to my appointment again for 1pm appointment on time, I saw her again and she greeted with bad attitude like she does not want to be at the clinic at all!! I mentioned that I want to check in for my 1pm appointment, and she rudely said just wait . So I waited until on I’ve in front her and she still did not talk to me. Eventually, I stood up and walked to her and for a while , she said, ok you can now because she has to check me in. I waited one hour and half again with my husband and finally got called in and said there are three patients are ahead of you, but the clinic actually will close by 4pm and it was already close to 3pm, so I decided to cancel and left with my husband. It is such a disappointment clinic. There was only one provider with so many patients, it is not safe for providers and patients care as well. I understand it is short on staff, but the clinic should not over schedule patients! I left because that provider is a sweet lady and I do want her help me but I want to help out her as well by not adding extra burden.

I cannot describe how just amazing of an experience I had. The staff here, from reception to walking out at the end, was truly amazing. I’ve gone to Planned Parenthood a few times in my life, mostly to the one in downtown Seattle, and have never had a bad experience. From walking in and checking in with reception to leaving at the end of my appointment, start to finish this team is truly amazing. They took the time to walk me through each step, answer any and all questions that I had, and reassure me during any moments of anxiety. I wish I could remember everyone’s names that I interacted with, but you all truly are spectacular and absolutely appreciated. Thank you!

Terrible clinic. Always running very late (45-90min wait for a scheduled appointment), the medical team doesn't seem to know what procedure they're supposed to be doing, and the reception staff doesn't understand how to appropriately scheduling time-dependent vaccines and procedures. Planned Parenthood Tacoma needs to try harder and do better.

Everyone was very nice and considerate Edit: I went recently and Dr. Mary-Kate is very good. She made sure I was informed on the procedure and told me how it would feel at every step. She made sure to get consent and asked if I was okay during each step too. She's very compassion and nice. She really seems to care about her patients and how they are feeling and their comfort. Overall very great doctor, not a great experience because of the procedure being done, but she made it better.

Twice now, I have paid money to get my blood drawn, for them to say "oops we slipped up and didn't test for what we were supposed to test for, we're gonna have to do another blood draw teehee." They seem to have no understanding that these things cost money for us. Also, the receptionists frequently deadname and misgender me, in front of the whole waiting room. Huge safety hazard for me and other trans people, they do not seem to care.
