I have been searching for my go-to pizza spot in Tacoma and making my rounds and next jo with great reviews was Abella! I used their online ordering to place my order for pickup at a specific time which was very convenient. I made a note requesting certain toppings on only half the pizza and it was just as requested! My husband and I arrived at our scheduled pick up time but had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our food to be ready. We took it home to eat and it all looked amazing. The pizza was good but my husband did not like the pastas we ordered. All in all, decent but we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again.

Pizza is amazingly so well made, crust was crispy matched perfectly with the sauce and toppings. Staff was super friendly, courteous and the location has that historic Tacoma experience within it. Definitely lookout forward to having Lunch there again🍕

When I went to pick up my order no one was at the front. Made me wait, even though I ordered online and there was literally only one other person inside the store. Employees weren’t friendly at all. Didn’t give me a bag or fork to go. Fettuccine alfredo was nasty, sauce tasted like that cheap one you buy at the store and noodles were stiff. I threw it away. Pizza was hard and cold, also skimped on topping I paid extra for. Pizza very well could have been reheated from previous day they just added minimal topping which I paid for on it. I came here because the reviews seemed decent but clearly these people have low very low standards. Spent around $26 even tipped for a take out order. Someone said “best pizza in WA” absolutely not. Just go to dominos.

This is the best pizza in the state of Washington. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and order this ASAP OR if you are from out of state (like I am) maybe you should stay away, because you will be craving it and no other pizza will quite scratch the itch.

I love this Pizza. Honestly the best pie I've found in Tacoma so far. Amazing crust and very friendly staff. My go to from now on.

Easy 5 stars here. Ended up stuck in a nearby Holiday Inn Express for 2 weeks straight, and Abellas was by far the best food for the money that delivered there. Was also just downright delicious food. Pizza was excellent, and the ravioli was very good as well. Large portions and very reasonably priced compared to a number of other local areas.

Really great spot and pizza. We ordered two gluten free pizzas and were very happy with the quality. The crust is thin and just crispy enough at the edges and holds all the toppings well. Quality of toppings is really good and very well balanced. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I got the pesto artichoke pizza. Absolutely delicious. Big pie. Reasonable price. Fast delivery. I will hit this place up every time I'm in town. Oh, also Popper bread!

Great pizza, wings, rib tips, hot and cold subs.. the antipasto salad is a delicious meal in itself! Have ordered often and it's always fantastic! One of the rare places with their own delivery drivers so order direct and your food will be delivered by a super friendly, polite driver.

I've sampled pizza from the east coast to the west coast. Few places get a review from me. You won't miss with these guys. Good service, solid make for the price. Sauce doesn't overpower, evenly distributed across the whole crust. There’s a bit of spicy but it’s to the benefit above all. Wonderful pizza, pick this place over any generic spot if you're visiting Tacoma.

We order takeout from here on a regular basis. The salads are great, and the pizza is very flavorful, and they do not skip on toppings. We live within the delivery area, and there is no charge for delivery, which is great. While all their pizzas are delicious, I think our favorites are the Peppercotta and the Margherita are are favorites. They also have a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, and pastas (individual or family size).

my husband and I stopped in for lunch here recently and really enjoyed it. the space is clean and spacious. I got some slices of pizza and he got an Italian sandwich, we both really liked our meals. we will be coming back next time we are in the area for sure. 🙂

I have been ordering from Abella Pizzeria for about a year now. I appreciate the customer service they give me all the time. They are always willing to make it right if something is wrong. Abella even called me to inform me when my order got delivered to my pickup destination. They greet you so friendly with a smile. This is one of my favorite places to get a good salad or Pizza. Thank you for everything you do and the customer service you provide.

Love this pizza place! Lunch slices are GIANT and so cheap! All of it is made right in the back and you can see the crew making your food from the front. You can get beer or cider for your meal as well. Best pizza in town, hands down!

Decent little pizza shop I ate there multiple times in between getting tattoos. It was also nice that they sold beer. The pizza was yummy. I just went with the standard Peppperoni pizza. The workers were sweet and the establishment was clean. They even brought my food to the tattoo shop. I will definitely be going back.

I have had a lot of good pizza and I'm not sure if I was just starving or what, but this had to have been some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. Their home made ranch dressing for dipping my pizza in made a place that will be forever etched in my head as a place to find some great pizza.

I always love eating at Abella's weather alone or with a group; at home or in the shop. Prices are always excellent and the fresh homemade quality is unmatched! I love supporting this local business with their friendly and caring owners and employees.

Great pizza joint here in Tacoma. It was great to find out they offer gluten free pizzas that are 14” instead of the usual 10” or smaller like everywhere else. We ordered the GF Hawaiian, it tasted amazing!

Come in at eleven if you want to eat reheated pizza from yesterday. Crust was tough and chewy the rest was greasy and soggy. This place was good a few years ago.

Best pizza joint in my humble opinion. Everything is delicious on the menu... well, the hot-wings could use some work, but that's it :). Keep on doing what you guys do!

Fantastic!! I just ordered some for work to thank our employees. Thank you for successfully filling the order 100% correct and every single pizza was delicious! All the employees kept asking me where I got the pizza. The variety of the different pizzas was amazing. All the employees loved the different creations and LOVED the cheese. The pizza wasn't greasy or heavy on your stomach. Just thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I will DEFINITELY order from here again!

I've had lunch and dinner here. There's pizza by the slice for like $3 until 1 or 2pm M-F. the pizzas are a little more expensive than a chain joint, but they are significantly better quality in dough, cheese, and other toppings. Even a couple weeks ago, there was a mistake with my order (put bacon when I asked for no pork), I called and they were so kind! They found my order, it was a miscommunication, and they remade it for me right away. Great customer service and just good food.

The pizza was pretty good, the sauce wasn't too spicy, nor too weak, the proportions of ingredients were generally well balanced, the quality of the ingredients was very good, my only complaint is that the toppings didn't go close enough to the edge, so for a small size pizza, about 1/3 to 1/4 of it is all dough from the crust. It wouldn't be so bad on a larger pizza. As far as service: I stood around the front area for a several minutes in hopes that someone in the back would look to the front to see me. At the time I first came in, I was the only customer. Finally someone did see me, and she helped me right away. She was new, but very courteous. After I made my order, she brought me a plate and silverware to my table, and brought me my water. After the pizza was done, and I received my order, nobody came to my table again after that. The water glass was very small, and I had to stand in view of people in the back again so people could see me so I could get a refill. After I was done eating my pizza, I was hoping to get another water refill, but nobody was around. I think my main complaint would be that staff doesn't check the front area enough. Once they know a customer needs something, they're right there, but they need to go to the eating area more often.
