The burgers were the biggest and best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth the price. The bartender was also really nice and helpful.

A good Local bar with a nice stage/music area. Food is fantastic...wine, champagne, beer, cocktails... Good selection. Staff was friendly, and it was set up with room to dance when they had live music.

The Philly cheesesteak sandwich is absolutely amazing, especially with the aujue sauce! The drinks are yummy, service was great and I had a fabulous time. Their outside area is nice. We had a group of 7 there and we had a great time!

Staff is awesome, food is great, beer is cold, bands that come through are always amazing.

My friend and I had an awful experience here and will not be going back. We met there before a work event and were deliberate in having only two drinks. My friend was charged for four drinks and I was charged for three. When we explained that we only had two we were accused of lying and the staff refused to refund us. They wouldn’t even look us in the eye. It was honestly the rudest treatment I’ve ever received at a bar and I will not be patronizing this mediocre establishment again.

Amazing dive-ish bar with great bands all the time (especially metal bands). Bartenders were nice, and all the patrons friendly. Highly recommend this place. Enjoy shots of whiskey while listening to a local metal band. They do have a kitchen but it was closed when we arrived at 10 pm. Will return every time I'm in Tacoma.

Delicious VEGAN options! The Valley is definitely a go to place for delicious burgers but now they are offering vegan sandwiches. I had the Vegan Melt and it was so yummy. I will definitely be coming back to try to he Vegan Reuben.

Excellent Food and Drinks. Friendly and Clean atmosphere with great entertainment. Staff is dedicated to great service. Recommend the Burgers and a Mac and Jack's on tap. Live music here is top notch.

Really solid brunch. Reasonable prices for the most part and not too crowded. Chicken fried steak was missing a traditional crispiness you'd expect, but was still tasty. It was more so just breaded. Still will come back again

The Valley is a casual type "dive tavern" with delicious food and live music..We had a really nice time when we went there over the weekend.

First time trying the Valley. I was pleasantly surprised that their cook is the bombdiggity! I ordered the shrimp & grits for me. But I was slightly hesitant because the last time I ordered it from a different restaurant, it was bland and had the least amount of seasoning possible. Well, I'm here to tell you, don't order nothing else on their weekend breakfast menu until you order the shrimp & grits! Daaaaaayum ... Thought I was visiting Texas or South Carolina or Louisiana! That flavor was off the charts! T h a n k y o u!

Visited on a Saturday night and caught three performances. Excellent quality sound that is not overbearing, friendly service, and a wide variety of drinks. Don't forget your credit card; we can't accept cash. The food looked delicious, but I didn't order any. It was a fantastic evening thanks to the helpful and pleasant employees.

Tried this place twice. I really want to like a place with live music and that old pub feel. First time (3 days ago), food is terrible, service ok and friendly folks at the bar. Second, dreads blonde spends her time talking to her friend at the bar mostly ignoring people. She is putting away glasses and clearly sees I have cash out for a drink. Ignores me until I pack my cash and leaving, with a grin wishes me a goodnight. I don’t have anything nice to say about that.

Friendly staff, good beer selection, live music. What more could you ask for? I've only been there once but I have a feeling this might be a local treasure. Next time I will try the food.

This was my second time going and we all had a great time! The burger I ordered was top notch, amazing chef with a clear passion for cooking, and the service was fantastic. The bartender was very sweet and helpful. Incredible sound stage and atmosphere. The sound guy is a beast on the drums and the open mic host is awesome. I highly recommend going if you're looking to join an open mic night, hang with a large group of friends or just go it alone. Thank you to everyone who works at The Valley for making another memorable night with my friends and family!

Dropped in on a Saturday nite to see 3 bands. Great sound, not too loud, great service and bevy selection. bring your credit card, no cash accepted. I Did not order food, but it sure looked good! Friendly and attentive staff made it a great nite!

One of the best dive bars around. Reasonably priced and while a smallish menu, the food is always great.

Decent atmosphere. Finally bartender. Good food nice place I just relax with friends and have a drink and something to eat.

Great place for a beer and small bite. Nice back patio to sit and the sun with a refreshing beer! Would go back!

Great food. Sandwiches are always tasty and ingredients are fresh. Salads are available but no fries. Chips are your other option. If you stumble in on a day when they have their Mac and Cheese, go for it! It's a dive bar delight that you weren't expecting. Friendly service every time.

Good food and good music. Many people like the "interesting" breakfast menu items, but I personally prefer a more standard set of breakfast cuisine. The sandwiches and burgers though are unbelievable. Great bread, more than enough meat, and delicious toppings.

A great spot for a burger or live music. Live Jazz Tuesdays, open mic Thursdays, live bands Fridays and Saturdays. The staff is awesome and they carry CBD tea (have them turn the raspberry one into an Arnold Palmer)...they don't take cash so be prepared.

The food is amazing!!! We reviewed all the reviews… we gambled and was incredibly impressed!!! You have to try… the chef makes sure his patrons are satisfied… watched him come out and greet customers asking for feedback… amazing !!!
