We have so much fun enjoying this little walk in our neighborhood. It's very well kept and makes you feel like you're walking through a portal to nature paradise. So much diverse plants and ecosystems on this easy walk. We will visit regularly!

We love this short loop! It's quick and refreshing as the swampland and trees are dense and you can easily forget you're in the middle of town. No dogs allowed but easy for kids, just have to make sure everyone stays on the boardwalk. Sometimes it's a little slick but it's always very manageable.

This was a very nice urban walk. I used to take my kids here when they were young. Very quiet and not many people, lots of vegetation.

This is a very nice walking trail with a beautiful view at the end. Easy walk/jog and not overly crowded. It does say that dogs and bikes are not allowed. There are a few areas that have picnic tables and a few benches to take a rest on along the way.

Beautiful small park. Great boardwalks though they are uneven and can be slippery when damp- even when wearing good boots. Small parking lot and clean. Trash cans only by entrance. Minimal signs. Lot of nature to enjoy!

This is our first time walking this trail. It is a great place to enjoy nature in the city and parking is free. It’s a nice walk and we spotted several wildlife. There weren’t that many bugs; however, it would be a good idea to put bug spray when it gets warmer.

Such a cool spot. Could use some clean up in areas and some parts are a bit slippery, but otherwise lovely. It's an easy loop with lots of information along the way. I'll have to come back for a picnic when the weather improves.

Relaxing and peaceful boardwalk trail. Easy walk. I walked the entire boardwalk. It’s about 1.5 miles and it took me about 45 minutes with a few stops to take in the beauty. I went on a chilly winter day so I did not encounter a single person on the boardwalk. It was nice. It may be a bit more crowded on warmer days.

Lovely place for a walk in the fall! Hate that I can't bring my dog, but the boardwalk is really well maintained and there's lots of great interpretive signage around.

My most favorite place for a walk in Federal Way! Very peaceful not a lot of people at anytime of the day. Parking is limited bit if you go earlier in the day there will be plenty of parking.

Beautiful Place for a community. Quiet and serene. I don't think it's a good idea to bring a dog to pee on blueberry bushes that I saw a child eat off of. Otherwise, great place to spend an afternoon.

Really loved the walk. Went early and didn’t see a single soul. It was peaceful and beautiful! Cute little informative signs about the plants and trees native to Washington state. Really clear to follow trails and the board walks were super nice. I will definitely be back! Nice little gem, you would never know your by the most busy area of town once your on the trail.

I went in to take photos of mushrooms and was greeted by a homeless man asking for a cigarette. I walked in further and seen another guy sitting on the bench with a lighter and a few loose straws on the floor looking like he already smoked whatever dope he had. There was a couple walking in my area so I was not as scared but I quickly turned around and left. I won't be going back.

These are beautiful wetlands on a gorgeous scenic walk. The only thing that I don't like is that the wooden walkways tend to get slick. Definitely watch your step because a slippery spot may catch you unawares... Like it did to me. I'm just happy I didn't break anything. I was carrying my camera as well as my phone.

Love this park, and for what it stands for...they are on the mission to preserve natural wetlands. It's a great walk easy access for wheelchair and children. Just note that dogs are not allowed at the park.

A beautiful boardwalk path through a bog. Hutton's Vireos were singing, and Western Skunk Cabbage were flowering. I enjoyed myself very much.

I love the feeling of being in the forest with all its beauty but I'm actually in the city. Great little walk and good to take the little ones on too. This place is beautiful ❤️

This is a very nice hiking trail with a neat old cabin and pretty views. There is a bathroom.
