We love this place, so went again… this time we had bad food. The salmon was severely undercooked. My son ordered the cedar plank roasted salmon and ate a few bites before realizing it. Staff remedied it and brought out an entire new plate with perfectly cooked salmon. The Went there for the first time for our anniversary had the velvet seafood risotto, and it tasted great. We also had mamas shrimp appetizer, and it was amazing!!! Went back a second time and plan on going there a lot more in the future, especially for special occasions. The atmosphere is casual but feels more than that. Staff is great and attentive. This place is definitely somewhere you should try, but I recommend making a reservation, on Fridays and Saturdays.

My brother has been referring me for weeks now. I finally came here on Father’s Day, and I ordered the chicken adriatica. OMG, let me tell you. Best Italian restaurant I ever been too. And puyallup mama stortini’s definitely ranks in my top 3 restaurants

What a lovely experience! Expect a little wait during busy times, but the hosting staff works quickly to prepare a clean and welcoming table for your party. Fresh baguette and house dipping sauce are provided upon seating. A full beverage menu is sure to quench your thirst. I enjoyed the chicken and mushroom ravioli for dinner. It was hearty, creamy, rich and flavorful. I definitely recommend it. The menu says the kitchen will attempt to accommodate dietary restrictions, but I wouldn’t advise bring a vegan or gluten-intolerant individual here at risk of no options apart from naked salad. Our glasses were always full, our food was hot and fresh, and all of the wait staff were refreshingly kind and helpful.

I got the salmon because it’s what everyone raves about it. Salmon was delicious. Zucchini was good. The potatoes were super salty. The French onion soup was really salty. My partner got some raviolis that were ok. For the price I’d go somewhere else. On the plus side our server was really sweet. If it wasn’t for Crystal’s kindness, I would’ve actually complained about the food.

The first time I visited this joint, I was not disappointed. The food... Oh amazing, good drinks, and the staff was nice and kind. But did I mention the food, omg so amazing. I will definitely be a return customer! If you're reading this and hesitant to try this place out, just go! You won't be disappointed!

I walked into the restaurant and was instantly taken back to my youth inside my grandmother's kitchen, after a few seconds my wife was able to snap me back into reality as we were escorted to our table. From head to toe, this place is great. The service is warm, friendly and fast. We never felt rushed or anything. It felt very family friendly. We ordered a cheese pizza for the kids and the server made a point to tell us all the different cheese that came with it just in case our kids didn't like any of them. The food is really good and tastes fresh. We didn't eat anything bad. After multiple trips my wife likes the lasagna, kids love the Mac and cheese and I enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs. We like to go during happy hour for the deals and the fried pickle spears! You should absolutely check this place out!

A nice place I would recommend it to all my friends and family. We went on a very busy night, we had reservations. It was a quick seating. The food was good.

Mama Stortini's catered my daughter's wedding. They were so easy to work with from the time I ordered through the event. I initially chose them for their price, but I'll go back for the service. They arrived right on time, set up quickly and unobtrusively so we could continue our celebration without disruption. The portions were generous. We had twice as much food as we needed for the number of guests. Everyone enjoyed the buffet, particularly the antipasto. Thanks, Mama Stortini's for helping us pull off a backyard wedding without a hitch!

The food taste good. Don't be fooled by the lobster Mac and cheese. Although it tasted great, I have to say the lobster lacked it's presence. I saw a few shredded pieces of lobster, but that was it. I order the large portion. It seemed pretty small for a large portion. The service and food was good over all.

My wife and I dined there during happy hour around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated us in a nice booth. First we ordered fried calamari which was the toughest I think I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the grilled salmon, zucchini and smashed potatoes and it was delicious. Wife got the chicken sandwich, which was also good. However, the sandwich was served in a wire basket that was insufficient lined with paper and the basket leaked out the side and made a big mess on the table, however it was tasty. The drinks were good but pricey for happy hour. The waitress did not offer us any table bread and I had to ask for a water refill. The food prices were reasonable and had good portions, however the drinks were expensive. Despite some issues, we had an enjoyable dinner date. I’m hoping some of the service issues and food quality and presentation issues are not the norm, per other reviews. We would love to come back again hoping for a better overall experience.

The food was very good, but just slightly a little pricey. We loved the atmosphere and lighting, and the portion sizes were pretty good. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. My only disappointment is that the waitress offered to box my leftovers and took my plate to the kitchen, but seemingly scraped the sauce off of the lasagna.

JUST A LIL SALTY! There were a number of cars in the parking lot, a sign that it’s a popular place. It’s very roomy and spacious. I think the downstairs area are for events and main dining is upstairs. You do have to manage a flight of steps. Staff are friendly and we got seated right away. There was no wait at 4 PM. Service was fast. Got our orders rather quickly. Portions are good. We ordered the roasted meatballs, three meat pizza and ravioli. The food was excellent but just a little salty. Pizza was salty and ravioli was salty too. Caesar salad was very good. Prices are reasonable. The place is very clean.

Delicious! Great food, terrific deals for Happy Hour with good portions, and nice service. The Caesar salad had a few crispy capers, which was a treat. I really enjoyed the flavor of the meat sauce on the spaghetti, and the meatball was pretty good. I would definitely go back!

Well the food was pretty good. Honestly it tasted great, exactly what you’d want to expect from an Italian restaurant. The amazing part was the Blue Friday. Everyone was in their best Seahawks attire. Professional sportswear if you will. Our server was amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and not too intrusive. That being said, there was a manager/host that left a sour taste in our mouths. This lady kept walking around the floor with her tablet, watching everyone eat and staring at our tables. If it was once it’d be one story. But she kept on checking every five minutes. It’s probably their procedure, but people started to notice. It felt like she was putting pressure on us to leave. No smile on her face, just her nose in the tablet then the stares. One seriously odd encounter is how much she watched our waitress. Every time our waitress would have an interaction with a table, the tablet lady would put down her tablet and watch the whole encounter. Overall weird experience with that. Otherwise, the food and the service was great. I just don’t like having “Big Brother” watching me and my waitress the whole time.

My husband and I came in for dinner a few nights ago and we were both blown away! I will admit I was nervous to come because of a previous experience but our server Kyleigh was amazing!!!! I am celiac and cannot have any gluten whatsoever. Kyleigh was so knowledgeable, friendly, went above and beyond for us and just made sure everything was great. The food was amazing as well. We were able to substitute some things that I couldn’t have and the staff did it with ease. I appreciate that so much! We will be back! THANK YOU KYLIEGH!

Great looking place and great food, but have had service issues both times ordering takeout.

I loved our food and the server was nice and helpful. My only complaint is that after we were seated 3 other tables were seated several minutes after us. They all received their meal way before us. They ate their dinner and were leaving shortly after we were served our dinner. Our total time to order eat and finish was almost 2 hours time. I have no complaint on the food or our server other than people getting served before us when we were there first.

A place I’ve driven by for the last 2 and half years and never had a reason to venture in, given the ‘Italian Restaurant’ experience around Puyallup. It is very accessible from the freeways. The decor and ambience is awesome and the staff welcoming and friendly. THE FOOD …I recommend Goat Cheese Bruschetta, it’s refreshingly rich in taste and fresh, and it’s better eaten fast and hot. Remember to ask for balsamic vinegar and olive oil (they didn’t bring it with the order). “The fries are gooood, you won’t regret”, said the smiling waitress; they sure are gooood. The cheese burger was invitingly crunchy, moist … The boneless chicken wings are generic and on the salty side, the ranch dipping didn’t help. We ordered off the ’Happy Hour’ Menu (1400-1800 Hrs) and the regular repeat-clients we’re happy to get to know other guests. Be mindful to ask what order you wish your food to be served in, we were flooded with the three courses at once!!! I’ll try the ‘Italian’ side soon.

My favorite in the Puyallup area. Every time I go the food is terrific! And service is always friendly. I love the appetizers and especially love the marsala ravioli. Mama's is a terrific restaurant for dates or meeting up with friends. I've also had Mamas delivered which is just as good!

This is our family's favorite place to eat; we have been going to Mama Stortini's for years! We know the manager and they are so hospitable and kind, especially when it comes to our huge party of 10+. Food is fantastic! Favorite app is the zuchinni fritters and dip. Favorite dish is always the chicken alfredo, I ask for bacon and mushrooms added, but I've also had the chicken picatta and it's amazing! And dessert, they always have a delicious sorbet or ice cream that's seasonal so there's always a new one. Highly highly recommend 👌🏻

Everything was excellent!! The service and timing was perfect. Our server Kat was impeccable, the timing of our service was perfect and the food was delicious, the drinks were tasty at the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. It was a great place to have a romantic dinner for two.

I dont know why I waited so long to dine here. I've been driving by this restaurant weekly, since I moved to Puyallup a year ago. Wow, so delicious! My family and I dined for dinner on a Monday evening at 730p. It wasn't busy at all and the staff was friendly. My son has food allergies and they communicated to the kitchen, and reassured every time they delivered anything if it would be an issue with ingredients or cross contamination. I am so thankful for that. They give crayons and a color page, with an affordable kids menu of greats portions. We ordered the goat cheese bruschetta, small ceasar salad, papa's lasagna, salmon special, chicken tenders with fries and pineapple cake for dessert. Everything was fresh and seasoned wonderfully. We loved everything!! Will definitely be back to try many more dishes on the menu. Make sure to join their generous rewards program that has coupons and quickly earned points redeemable for cash off future visits. Thanks Lisa G for your attentiveness and great service.

I’ve always enjoyed the lunch soup/salad combo … the Tucson chopped salad was excellent. I’ll probably skip the French onion soup next time. A little disappointed there wasn’t the traditional basket of bread with oil. Last time I dined inside was pre-covid so maybe things have changed. This has been a girlfriends lunch spot for over a decade and I’ll continue to go back. Service is always friendly and good.

Went for dinner on Monday. It was about an hour and half before closing. Waited a little over 20 minutes to be seated. For appetizers we got the calamari, fried artichoke and the garlic cheesy bread. The calamari and artichoke were the best. I got the chicken adriatica, fam got lemon pepper linguine with prawns, & chicken fettuccine alfredo. My chicken adriatica was a little over done and didn't taste as good from the last time I had it. I dislike the fact that you don't get bread with your meal. The server was nice, the host up front was alright.

To see more reviews check out our blog killintheemptynest.com Celebrated a graduation. 7 of us in the group. The staff was ready to seat us a few minutes early, the table was set & ready to go, all in all it started off wonderfully! Timely in taking drink orders, appatizers order, and then came back for entree order. Food was hot and gorgeous when it came out and everything tasted awesome. Definitely a great place to go with a group. Clean & comfortable, and prices were really good for that quality of food & atmosphere.

We held a rehearsal dinner in the Fireside Room. The process of setting it up - from 4 states away - was seamless (thank you Jade!) The next day at the wedding, several people came up and commented how delicious the food was and that the servers were very attentive. A few locals said that they would definitely be going back. Their prices were super reasonable and they really delivered on the food - even packaging leftovers for guests to take home. 100% recommend, especially for a group event.
