This was the only pub open on the entire street when we needed a place to grab a bite before a performance at Real Art Tacoma. The music was extremely loud, although the regulars seemed to be enjoying it. This is a non-hip dive bar, which has several good things going for it: They serve a great, and large plate of fries, they were open when everyone else was closed, and the bartender was excellent, even though she was flying solo for the evening.

The staff and owner are absolutely amazing!!! Always a great time when spending time her, not to mention the food is delicious!!

Had a nice lunch there w my hubi ... best dang onion rings I've had in a long long time ... and crinkle fries... yummmmm...played a game of pool .. cant wait to visit again .... and lots of seating... old back bar ...

Dive bars are my favorite places and this one Hits the mark. Booze, pull tabs, pool, and other bar games. Had a nice drink, very friendly service.

Great dive bar on South Tacoma way. Warm and welcoming with friendly staff and new owners. This was in pretty bad shape before but now it's a cool spot to chill out with s beer or cocktail. The menu is packed with great bat food treats and a cheap pool table makes this one of my favorite places.

Nope. This place had some nice people. I liked the burger and frys. My wife wanted to dance with me and we were shut down. Anyways. Don't go unless you want to follow strick covid rules if your not friends with the little blond bartender. Her friends get a pass.

Drinks were good but the fry oil for the food made it taste very burned. The bartender was awesome though

Had a cheeseburger and a coke while waiting for my ladyfriend to select some fabric at Curtis Upholstery next door.

This is my favorite bar in town. People are wholesome and down to earth. The Rainer is a little expensive but I guess I'm paying for the atmosphere and I'm okay with that.
