Absolutely killer bbq. I went with the medium hot brisket sandwich, side of smoked mac n cheese and pickles. Medium hot def leaves some heat, but nothing crazy. Mac n cheese is great, creamy and smoky. Pickles are sweet with a little kick - they brine them with ancho chilis and it works. Staff is awesome too!

Have been Pikes Pit - B - Que twice and both times just enjoyed the all different types of savory BBQ they had. Everyone is really friendly and full recommendations on what to eat. Would totally recommend this place for Excellent BBQ.

Dang- just so delicious. They were very busy but took my order quickly and got it out in a reasonable time. I ordered a side of the chicken - it was mouth watering, juicy, and delicious. The bbq sauce was amazing too. The Mac and cheese was wonderful - I'm somewhat of a Mac and cheese connoisseur, and this was high on my list. Depth in the flavor, bread crumbs toasted perfectly. 10/10. Plus the atmosphere of pikes place is a blast.

Overrated place. I figured I had to try it while in Seattle. Got the chopped pork sandwich with mild sauce, which according to the menu "has a kick". Unfortunately it had no kick and no tang whatsoever. Completely bland meal. My brother in law was disappointed too.

Got the pulled pork and brisket sandwich, it was a big disappointment. The reviews and hype got me to try this place but once I ate it, it was mediocre. The buns were soft, the pulled pork and brisket tasted the exact same , the sauce on the meats were way too salty like it came out of a can.

The food was delicious!! Amazingly tender brisket and the BBQ had a great kick! Bacon potato salad was great and the house pickles were really fresh! Very fast service and when one of orders was missed in a busy moment they whipped it up super fast and had us on our way. Highly recommended!

This place deserves a 2.5 star in my opinion. Let me share my experience. I ordered the beef sandwich and bacon potato salad for my side. The potato salad was the star of the show. Had a couple of fat pieces but it was so delicious it did not deter me from devouring it. The beef on the sandwich was tender but I ordered the medium sauce which had no kick and overly salted. I believe that's because the seasoning happens after the meat is cooked. Overall I would go back for the potato salad and with the sauce lacking the basics I don't see myself eating any main dishes. Try for yourself it's not the bad but 4.6 for a rating is a mistake.

I recently visited a barbecue restaurant and was disappointed by the brisket sandwich, but the potato salad was amazing! I went to the restaurant with the intention of ordering the macaroni and cheese, but it was sold out. I decided to get the potato salad instead, and I'm so glad I did. The potato salad was creamy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of crunch from the red potatoes. I especially loved the way the celery and onion were chopped so finely that they melted into the potato salad. To add, I do not eat potato salad so this is a new great experience for me. The brisket sandwich, on the other hand, was a letdown. The meat was tender, but it didn't have much flavor. The barbecue sauce was salty and lacked any other flavors. I also ordered my sandwich with medium heat for my sauce but it had no kick to the sandwich at ALL! Overall, I would recommend the potato salad at this restaurant, but I would avoid the brisket sandwich. If you're looking for a delicious and flavorful side dish, the potato salad is definitely worth trying. Here are some suggestions for how the restaurant could improve the brisket sandwich: * Use a more flavorful barbecue sauce. * Add some heat to the barbecue sauce. I hope this review helps you decide whether or not to visit this restaurant.

Ribs are firm and too salty even without the dipping sauce. The brisket sandwich was also too salty. The Smoky Mac & cheese was nice though. I doubt I will ever be coming back. Might get something from the supermarket hot foods if this bbq is considered good.

Omg! I just had their chicken sandwich with hot sauce. I am going to remember the taste for few hours. Amazing sandwich. Loaded with chicken, and bread was soft as well.

We got the shredded pork bowl and it was good. The beans were very spicy, but delicious. The coleslaw was very fresh and delicious as well. The staff was very nice and friendly.

I had the mac bowl with hot links. Now, I'm pretty particular when it comes to sausage and especially mac 'n' cheese. Compared to some really good BBQ joints I've been to on the East Coast, the mac was pretty mediocre and the sausage was good, but not incredible. I sound like I'm being harsh, but really the food was tasty, just the bar for good BBQ is really high. I'd give the restaurant a 4/5 for the food I ate, and a 2/5 for location because it's crammed into Pike's Market and there's not much elbow room. I've bumped up my rating to a 5/5, however, because their service is truly exemplary. Not only was the staff friendly, but while I was eating someone who appeared to be down on their luck (probably homeless, but I don't want to make assumptions) sat down after the line at the register was cleared out. The cashier asked them if they wanted something to eat, and asked if they wanted some mac with it. This didn't seem like a one-off thing, it seemed like they regularly help people out with the food left over after the lunch rush, and that put a smile on my face. The people who work at Pike's Pit are great humans.

Ordered the meat platter with brisket, pork, and ribs and mild and medium bbq sauce. The meat was INCREDIBLE (the brisket was my favorite) but the sides (mac and cheese, cornbread, chili) was just ok. Recommend only ordering the meat. Has a nice counter to sit at if you can get a spot, and nice service.

Just happened upon this after coming up from Alaskan Way. Great choice. Good selection and really good food. Big portions too! Got the spicy sauce and oh it is spicy but I can still taste the food!!

Seattle doesn’t not best BBQ in country but this place is good. Portions are large and prices are good. 3 meats option is 17.50 USD which includes 2 sides.

Great little BBQ spot right in the middle of Pike's Place Market. The meats were all very good. Selection is decent. The DAMN HOT bbq sauce wasn't, but it did taste good with the sweet potato and beef. Will stop in again after I try a few of the other places in the immediate vicinity.

This place is AWESOME! Great food. Great staff. Tried the sliders and a side of links so I can get a bit of everything, and it did not disappoint. The cashier was super helpful and offered me a sample of the hottest sauce before ordering it. It was tasty but a bit too spicy for me. The man and woman preparing the food were super fast and kind. Definitely would recommend and will eat here again 🤙👏

Very busy little stand with some great bbq food. I went with the classic pulled pork sandwich and loved every bite.
