Fab location...lots of places to eat & drink around...went to black star - top quality food & service here but at b&b, the owner Dave was very ride stating he was expecting us at 1.30pm despite check-in being up to 5ish...stated he was half way through cutting his hair & was going to jump in the shower as he still had a life to get on with & was going out that night!!! Not the best way to greet customers...surely the b&b is his life!? Not the best place, very dated, squeaky floorboards, mini fridge in room did not work! Was clean but not spotless...shower tray & soap dish had gunky orange slime stuff around them. Room size was good for a family, was informed had the room with a dvd player but if we wanted to watch one, we would have to purchase dvd's from tesco across the road! My partner informed me that when our child was getting a bit restless, Dave scowled at him...he is 2 for god sake & had had a long day...2 hour journey & day out at west midlands safari park (which wasn't the best either)! Paid £95 for the room for 1 night, bo breakfast included but not sure I would want breakfast there...Dave was very unkempt...dirty shirt which was half buttoned up (yuck!) Would recommend cost to be nore like £45 for the night. Did have tea & coffee in the room mind which was a bonus! Room was very hot in night despite window being open! Was also informed that Dave had a dog & warned to make sure all doors was shut securely! Won't be staying here again!

Room was clean but, a tight fit with a double bed in it. A stirrer or spoon would be a good idea as there was nothing to stir tea or coffee. Shower was really dirty, so, did not use. Went down for a cigarette and almost fell down the stairs as I didn't see the dogs ball on the landing. No parking.

It was a great location and the owner and his dog were absolutely fantastic. The room had a lot of potential. We stayed in the room with a 4 poster bed and a balcony. It needed a good updating though. The carpets were very thread bear, it wasn't the cleanest and the woodworm in the paneling could do with being looked at. Would stay again if the price was slightly lower and the room a bit cleaner

Amazing time spent there, Dave went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, really helped us out with transport issues to a wedding, and was so accommodating for keeping my motorbike safe.Absolute icon and would definitely recommend/stay again!

Absolutely beautiful Georgian house with a nice central location to the town. Dave is friendly and courteous, as is the dog Princess. And the breakfast is great too. Comes highly recommended by a grateful guest. 🙂 Edit: Georgian, not Victorian. Sorry. 😅

A lovely little building in a nice part of Stourport. The room wasn't amazing, but it was OK and great value for money. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent - local ingredients and freshly cooked. Highly recommended.

Having very recently stayed here, its an old Georgian property and the decor reflects this.. It's not a high end glossy finish and the rooms one may say are a little dated, but, the rooms( we had balcony access), were very clean and bed was comfortable.. Dave was just the sort of gentleman who has that old British charm about him. Very polite, very helpful and a genuinely friendly guy.. Princess , his wonderful dog, is a very lovable bundle of joy.. Location is absolutely spot on for access to town and Riverside locations.. Breakfast was very impressive and cooked to order.. Fresh local ingredients, cooked to perfection.. And if you want vegetarian options, he catered for one of our party..so can't fault that... We won't hesitate in booking to stay here again when we return to Stourport-on-Severn..
