Fantastic Scout Campsite. Brilliant campsite team who are very helpful. Good facilities. Lots of wooded areas. Great for hammocks and tents.

My daughter were in the Camp she is 8 years old. Parents were aloud to drop and pick up children in the car park. I did not visit or see anything else. When she came back she said they sleep on top of a bank beds and she could see the ceiling moving - .Not sure how bad or good does this sounds without seeing it with your own eyes. Otherwise she had a great time sleeping over there for 1 night.

Simply amazing though there's no game facilities for kid's but kid's have enjoyed the nature. The teachers and trainers has more room for creating activities for the training of the children. Cheaper than any other sites. We haven't experienced any harmful bites from insects and haven't seen foxes around. So secured and with a very wide space you have a privacy from other group. Safe drinking tap are just all around. We've been using this site for morethan 5 years now.

Son had Cubs camp and he loved it, great to explore, leant skills and have fun. Facilities are good for the group's to use.

Amazing piece of land for a camping or day trip. The building and facilities have been upgraded to an excellent standard.

Beautiful wooded Scout Campsite for Scouts, Guides and other youth groups. Modern toilet block with hot water and showers. Campsite is good for backwoods actitives, patrol or group camping.

No activities but amazing place to camp in amongst the trees and really get back to nature. Could do with a few more toilets really.

Back to basics campsite which is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), so ideal for nature lovers. Probably the only campsite in the UK where you can hear wolves howling at night, due to the Paradise Wildlife Park zoo which is a couple of miles away. Bookings only for Scouts, Guides and other youth organisations including schools, via the site website and volunteers.

Good scout campsite, washroom facilities suboptimal - no hot water, and no washing up space for those cooking outside

My family has spent a wonderful restful weekend with friends here. I recommend this place for those who respect nature and other campers
