OK for the price. Self service continental style breakfast if you like that sort of thing but not my preference. Warm, clean and tidy. Has on site free parking which is a bonus.

Had a very pleasant stay at Kathleen House. Very easy to check in with their online service and then being able to collect the key from outside. The staff I met was absolutely lovely and helped me out soo much whilst there, I shall be forever grateful. It is very well located, can catch a bus, get a train and there is also private parking on the drive available. It is also near the local shopping centre that has all the latest shops there. I would definitely recommend this place 😊

For a 2 star hotel I was very impressed. The bedroom was a good size with clean/fresh feeling sheets and towels. Mattress and pillows were good condition and the shared bathrooms are cleaned every day. I was very happy with this guest house and would stay there again if I visited the area again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND...Management was absolutely amazing our weekend would have been completely ruined without him. J went above and beyond for us this weekend. We didn't stay at Kathleen house in the end as TripAdvisor had messed up our booking massively but J came to our rescue and boarded us at another place they had and bonus it was closer to our concert venue . We really can't thank him enough.

Clean easy smart TV kettle with coffee teabags and hot chocolate. Shared bathroom and off road parking was for 2 cars which were already there but it didn’t affect us. It was great. Would deffo stay again. X

Kathleen house was a perfect home away from home for my vacation all staff were very helpful and kind yet also non intrusive. This was my first time booking and staying in a hotel which gave me concerns but everyone I spoke to for help was really patient and understanding. The rooms are really well kept and the location is perfect. You're 10 minutes away from a large diverse shopping center and right next to that is a train station so you can go and do whatever you please with little worry on how you'll get back. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a nice affordable place to stay while visiting London for any reason.

Decent for the prices. Service is rated low only because no breakfast on the weekend which brought the overall down and also, whilst lots of guests are staying you may find that they run out of hot water for showers.

Excellent B & B and overall experience. Staff were fantastic, friendly and responsive- I booked this for a client and they ensured that they were well looked after and anything raised addressed straight away. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and all facilities were as described. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

We had everything we needed. Clean room, clean bathroom, simple check in and check out service. Would recommend and come back again.

I didn’t get to stay here, I tried to book a room and my card was declined so I was sent a message saying a room could not be reserved for me, I took this to mean I didn’t have a booking but it turns out they will just attempt to recharge your card at a later date, by which time another room somewhere else had been booked by my partner as I didn’t have enough money to book one and as we had a funeral the next day we needed a booking confirmed when I explain the predicament to the employee that text me to confirm they had then removed money from my account despite me not knowing it was confirmed I had also said I wanted to pay at the hotel, the employee was disgracefully rude. After arguing with me for ages they said they would speak to senior management which they didn’t and ignored my later message, I requested a cancellation on booking.com and that too was ignored. They basically took £75 and I didn’t stay there. I am actually disgusted with this as I expressed that I had not realised they had confirmed the booking and they did not inform me prior to attempting to take payment for a second time. This was a genuine mistake and completely made the funeral day 100 times worse because I had to sell some personal property to make back the money they took from me without my permission.
