I've been with the Academy for just over 4 years now and managed to achieve my Black Belt in Kickboxing which I'm really proud of. My fitness, coordination and confidence has grown so much since I joined, and I really enjoy the lessons. The twice weekly classes are intense, but fun, and the atmosphere is really positive, friendly and respectful. I'm really pleased to have stuck with the course through lockdown as has been a great stress-buster and the social support is excellent. Master Williams' patience, enthusiasm and positive approach to teaching makes every class enjoyable. 5*

My 5 year old son started with the Academy earlier this year and my 6 year old soon followed suit having seen how much fun the lessons are! They are both getting a lot from the lessons - my youngest is developing his focus and attention, and the discipline of learning the moves really appeals to my oldest. There is something for everyone including having fun! The classes are well organised and Master Williams clearly brings a lot of innovative techniques to engage the children. Outside the lessons the communication from Master Williams and his team is great. I would definitely recommend Rising Spirit Academy.

The academy has a really great feel to it - high standards, careful and caring of students. I've only ever had respectful experiences from other students. Starting my martial arts training has been an eye opener, its a solid place to care for my emotional and physical health, and i wish i had started before i was 51! But im looking forward to growing older with taekwondo. Huge thanks to all the teaching and welfare staff at the Rising Spirit academy.

My Grandson has been attending for 4 years from Little Nijas and Now doing Black Belt Advance classes in King Boxing and Tai kwon-do. I can remember him he couldn't even carry his Bag and now he does 30 off all the warm ups. He fitness is probably Better than mine. All the Students are friendly and Mr Williams(master), Miss Ward are Outstanding and Professional. The Supporting are fantastic replacement when Mr Williams is away. Love to keep my Grandson on this Blsck Belt Course Regards Sarwan Suraina,(Rajesh's Suraina Grandfather)

Rising spirit Academy I would gladly recommend Rising Spirit Academy to anyone looking to learn and progress in martial arts. I joined the academy a year ago in dual martial art program of taekwondo and kick boxing and progressed in both styles to a whole another level. The program helped me to grow in terms of physique, skills and also spiritually. Master Williams is highly experienced teacher who pushes us to always deliver our best and motivates us with his own achievements in the discipline. The program is always challenging and entertaining with the opportunities to take additional classes like weapon defence. I am excited for my future path in Rising Spirit Academy all the way to the black belt and beyond.

This Academy is fantastic. My boys started and I followed soon after. There is good progress with regular gradings so it is always clear what stage you are at and how you are progressing. The staff are brilliant, and the atmosphere is friendly. Having been at this Academy now for a year I recommend them highly to anyone interested.

My son joined Rising Spirit Academy over a year ago. From the initial introduction and then the classes that followed, I can’t fault the service, guidance, encouragement professionalism and ethos, shown throughout. It’s not just about the arts themselves, but also about the respect, care and sense, shown by Master Williams and Miss Ward and all the students on all levels of the course. I watched my son, twice a week for over a year and saw the improvement in his overall skill and fitness and attitude and was so taken with the whole thing, that four months ago, I finally signed up!! So glad that I did. Thank you to the Academy. It’s just brilliant!

I am truly grateful for the impact that karate lessons have had on my son's life. Not only has he become physically stronger and more flexible, but he has also become more focused and disciplined. Watching him progress and grow in his karate journey brings me great joy and pride.

I could place a bunch of big and LARGE and IMPRESSIVE words to describe the enjoyment I had at training at the academy, but that would seem hollow, the last he while training here as been a huge and fundamentally part of shaping me as a human, the experiences teen drama worthy and teaching Friendly and works. It is a shame I am leaving, but h do so pleased with my time spent and people met. The tools and joy is there you just have to engage :)

My child loves this class. As a parent it's the attention to detail and the personalised approach that I appreciate the most. Every child has different needs and so the careful assessment of his challenges and aims for the class has helped make it a really meaningful learning experience as well as a lot of fun!!

Rising Spirit is a fantastic, supportive martial arts academy with classes suitable for everyone from 4 upwards. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the teaching is accessible but will push you to achieve your best, and the overall focus on wellbeing and achieving your own goals has made this one of the most worthwhile things I've ever done with my time. The whole family are benefitting hugely from both the Taekwon-do and kickboxing courses.

I went for a trial class a while ago. I used to train kick boxing but in Swindon (amazing instructor). During this classes I wasn't able to train much... And then the instructor insist on meeting to talk about price. Yes, he would not tell me the price. We had to meet. We met. Rising Spirit is a lot about coaching, etc. It was not for me on many levels so I didn't join. After Swindon classes i have high expectations.
