I had a wonderful time at my appointment with Tim, loved every moment from start to finish and for the first time in a long time I’m really in love with my hair! Tim was excellent at making me feel at home and comfortable, explained the process of what he was doing to/for my hair along the way and even gave me tips on how to style it without using hair straighteners! The shampoo and conditioner I purchased has been lovely to use as well! Had so many compliments on it which has been lovely! Looking forward to my next appointment!

This salon is wonderful. I am very happy with my new hair. Anna was very lovely and professional and has done a fantastic job! This was my first time getting balayage and the team were super helpful in explaining everything every step, it was very reassuring and helpful - overall fabulous experience :)

The best hairdressing experience! I struggle to find a good hairdresser and discovered Wisteria Avenue after recently moving down south, and Tim is the best hairdresser I've had! I came in for a pre-colour consultation and was able to talk through what I was wanting to have done (after years of home box dyes) and was given a very realistic plan of how to get there. Tim and Matt listened to what I wanted, but also gave recommendations on what would work for me. Thank you so much, and I can't wait to come back for my top up :)

After having a bad experience in another salon, I was quite nervous about this hair appointment. Before the appointment, I had a hair consultation from Mike which was honestly the best I’ve ever had. He used basic terminology so I could understand exactly what will happen to my hair. I knew I wanted to be blonder so Mike advised highlights and it was the best decision. Tim was fantastic, talked through all the colours and transformed my hair from looking damaged to healthy, more natural hair. I wasn’t sure on how I wanted my hair cut wise so I gave Tim artistic control and he really didn’t disappoint! I can’t recommend this salon enough. For the service you receive, it’s very fairly priced! Can’t wait for my next appointment, thanks so much guys!

Really great experience having my hair cut here. The staff were great (esp Anna my stylist) and the cut looked good. They also taught me some tricks to help me at home which I am thankful for. Anna if you're reading this I promise I went out with friends to celebrate my new hair cut and I definitely didn't sit at home eating Jaffa cakes.

Great little boutique salon in central Abingdon. Tucked away from the main square and very calm and cosy. Always professional but friendly and relaxed service. They accommodate my super-long hair well and the 5-hour long colour appointments go by fast! I always get highlights, wash, conditioning treatment, cut, and blow dry, and the price is always incredibly reasonable for the service and expertise. Tim in particular is excellent, with years of colour experience. He’s fun and chatty but always professional and accommodating to my requests and I trust him with my hair completely! Mike is friendly and helpful on the phone and via WhatsApp too. Excellent products to buy as well. I also get offered coffee and water, which is always appreciated when I’m there for so long! Have been back many times and will continue to do so, wouldn’t use another salon in Abingdon now. Highly recommend.

I had a great appointment and Anna was absolutely wonderful, I really love my hair. The cut and colour are absolutely perfect and after coming in not entirely sure what I wanted I left completely in love with my new hair. I contacted the team on WhatsApp to see if they'd be able to help my brother with a hair makeover. They were quick to respond and gave lots of reassurance, as my brother was a bit nervous about going to a salon for the first time (he also has long hair that he is fond of, but not keen on maintaining!) Tim the stylist put my brother at ease straight away and made some recommendations on what style to try first. He did a much better job than I had at explaining how layers work, and how they would help stop tangles forming! My brother says he'd be happy to return, which is a big deal for him, so thank you very much 😁

I’m new to Abingdon and decided to try Wisteria Avenue after reading the good reviews. From the moment I walked in I felt instantly welcome, the team are lovely and it was overall an enjoyable experience. Tim did my restyle and it was honestly amazing. Tim instantly knew what style would suit me best according to my face shape and hair type. He also took the time to go through some easy to do styling tips. I love my new style and my hair now has a new lease of life. I would highly recommend this salon!

Great salon. I went in for a curly cut with Tim who was so friendly and listened to me when I explained how I needed my hair to fit in with my active lifestyle. I spoke with Mike on the phone first, which I recommend if you're having a curly cut. You'll talk through your hair type to understand how long your appointment should be. I'm happy with what I paid for my cut and have applied the curly-girl method to get those clumped, thick curls. Very happy.

Super happy with my balayage once again - not the kind of place you ever need to feel nervous of how your hair will turn out. Exactly what I asked for both times, and the stylist put so much time and effort into it. Didn't feel rushed in the slightest. A little expensive but will be back when I can!

Took my young daughter here for a haircut - she wasn’t too keen at first but the team were super friendly, engaged with her and even put a film on their phone for her to watch which immediately calmed her down. It’s hard to find a salon that is so accommodating for children so I am impressed! My daughter is very pleased with her hair and we will definitely be returning. What a lovely little salon 😊

So I got my hair cut a few months ago (first time in two years) and I am still getting complimented on my hair! I have a pretty low maintenance routine but the cut I had by Timothy is so great it really frames my face and gives me some bounce. Will definitely be returning and 100% recommend

Had my first curly cut here today. Tim was really knowledgeable and just wanted great results for your hair. Beautiful salon, lovely friendly staff and a lovely cut for my dry damaged hair. Would definitely recommend for curly girls!
