😠 Most awful company to live with. I live at Epping Gate. We have had no water for 15 hours, the emergency number in the binder they give you is just the generic office number. The maintenance team you pay ALOT of money for isn't actually responsible for anything. It's a sanitary issue, people coming... People often mention Fairview, property,

Came back home after a long day at work to find out no water in all the flats. Can't freshen up, can't cook or can't even use the toilet. Called the management and called Thames Water, everyone is saying issue was not from them. I somewhat have to keep myself isolated since I'm dirty and smelly. Had to sleep on the living room floor. This is not what I expected from a brand new home. Management takes no responsibility to look into this issue, instead leaving it for morning. I feel like Fairview don't care about the residents as long as they manage to sell all their properties.

Most awful company to live with. I live at Epping Gate. We have had no water for 15 hours, the emergency number in the binder they give you is just the generic office number. The maintenance team you pay ALOT of money for isn't actually responsible for anything. It's a sanitary issue, people coming home from work long shifts in healthcare, trades etc unable to clean, babies and children not able to be fed and sanitised, women on periods unable to clean, toilets not flushing, residents who are poorly and have health anxiety spending the night unable to wash their hands. The sales team once they've got their commission do not give a flying F about the welfare of their customers. Don't believe a word the sales team say either it's all lies. We've now got a chat with over 60 people in the building and every single person was told a different thing when purchasing the property. No apology yet from Fairviews.

What happened last night (2.11.23) at Fairview Epping Gate was a terrible experience. The main problem, of course, was not the mechanical failure at 17:15. This can happen at any time. The problem was that there was no one at Fairview or the management company who could have taken any action. The fact that the emergency telephone number provided by FV is a voice recording robot is enough to explain the situation. Until this morning no one in authority, apart from the residents, either knew about it or was not interested. This was of course not the first unpleasant surprise. There are other problems, such as the frequently broken lift, the base station, which was not mentioned in the sales pitch but will now be installed above us, or the water pressure problem unsolved so far. In short, Fairview did not get off to a good start in this new apartment block. Apologising is of course good, but it is not enough to solve problems. Fairview should review its decision-making processes and better train its staff, who did not take responsibility last night, to correct the poor impression it has created. I wanted to make a contribution to what needs to be known when buying a home from Fairview.

A resident here. I came home after a 12 hour shift, I’m on my period and the water supply is gone. No one to come and sort it out, management company says it’s not them, customer services say it’s not them. Water company says its not them. 200 or so people with babies, children and pets, shut in their flats with no water to flush faeces down their toilets or even wash their hands. Management company has time to write to every resident about dogs but no one to address this crisis? Maybe I’ll get a reply here. 16-11-2023: I would appreciate it if the answers were not copy and paste. Same answer has been copied and pasted with no relevance to the reviews. Please be serious.

Please do not believe the lies you are told if you enter the fairview offices, they will say anything to get your money off you, they will tell you that you have to use their mortgage people and solicitors and they are all in cahoots together! I currently have 49 serious snags at the property since jan this year, but not one has been rectified, and you will receive no help from fairview as they and the contractors will continue to blame each other.

Since moving in we had a number of issues with the property and property management. Very unresponsive and the urgency number they provided is a voicemail. There is a constant ping pong between people who should manage the property and they either don’t know or it’s never their job to do the job.

Don’t buy from FAIRVIEW! They cut corners everywhere. If you end up with uneven walls, consider yourself lucky! We are currently grappling with a faulty heating air pumps at the top of our development, and they are claiming this is up to standards. They refuse to take responsibility!!!

Be aware! Fairview is a big deceit led by scammers. They will tell you everything you want to hear just to sell the property. Once you sign that devilish contract, they send James, who will sweep all your problems under the rug. Leaking balconies, insulation problems, no fire safety sign-offs, and issues with noisy pumps – they disregard NHBC warranty reports and play games each time you encounter a problem! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
