Suites were spot on, plenty of space, and nice decor. Warm welcome from the staff. Didn't try food or drink.

Stayed here for 1 night recently having been travelling southern England for 12 days. Our room and bathroom here were the cleanest and most comfortable of all the places that we stayed. I am not saying the others were bad but this stood out as exceptional. And excellent food too!

What a beautiful apartment this is. Finished to a really high standard and very comfortable, stocked with everything for a nice breakfast in the morning. Superb shower and kept really clean. Out in lovely countryside but not to far from civilisation and really quiet so slept well. Lovely staff that were really helpful with our arrangements as we were coming in late from a wedding. Though top end we used our club card vouchers so a real treat.

The Nava Thai menu is a shadow of its former self in that there are no sizzling dishes which we really used to enjoy.The bar menu for lunch was OK with good service and nice bright reburbishment and enlargement. However the restaurant is dull and could be anywhere with very little Thai ornaments etc. The menus in both parts are plasticated and far from clean, looking much like a foreign beach bar menu. Such a shame for a previously brilliant place.

Visited this place for a meal with family and having never hears of it didn't know what to expect. I found the staff to be warm and welcoming and the food to be top notch with a beautiful presentation on the set menu C we had. Price worth the value and quality of food and plenty of parking available to the rear as well as on street.. Would happily return... if can remember how to find this place again.

A quiet English pub that serves the most amazing Thai food. Service was excellent and very friendly. The Pub has had a good reputation for many years and it is deserved. Can't comment on any of the rooms.

Booked a table here on Sunday, service was poor and treated as if we had'nt booked. Food was good but the 'english' food was'nt topped up as regular as the Thai selection.

Pub with Rooms/Suites which are 1st Class. Stayed one night after a Wedding nearby. If it were a little closer to home would go back for a Thai meal.

Excellent Thai cuisine and very friendly staff. We were not quite hungry enough to do justice to the meal served, having had a late lunch, but the food we hadn't been able to eat they packed up for us and we enjoyed their cooking for lunch the day after as well.

Driving home from Dorset to East Sussex, we were looking for somewhere to have lunch. A sign pointed to the Hamilton Arms. We followed. Had no idea it was a Thai restaurant pub. Had a set meal for two. Thought the food was fabulous. Particularly the prawns in hot basil sauce and the pad Thai noodle, but all of it was excellent. The service was friendly and unpretentious. A lucky find for us and highly recommended as a result.

We had the Thai Sunday buffet. It was very good. All very fresh and a good choice. The owners and staff were on hand to explain the dishes if required. Their was also a roast for those less adventures. Very friendly. Will be back soon

Lively local pub offering amazing Thai food. Full restaurant menu available and take away. Rooms available as separate unit at back. Spacious, well designed and decoated, clean and comfy. Breakfast hamper continental style provided. Nice outdoor seating area on green - weather permitting. Rural location just off A272. Fabulous dawn chorus, and I did get back to sleep for a while afterwards!

The rooms are exceptionally nice with so many thoughtful and very welcome touches! From the very nice hamper breakfasts, the lit up mirror in the bathroom, the beautiful and comfortable decor, wonderful assortment of coffee, teas, biscuits, etc and really really nice staff! Everything looked so fresh, clean and welcoming! It really is a hidden gem that we are looking forward to staying at again and will also look forward to trying some of their Thai food offerings as well!

We stayed here for one night. The hotel rooms are immaculately clean, modern and very nice! Comfortable bed & complimentary breakfast left in the rooms. Like having your own tidy apartment for one night... Which we prefer rather than a hotel or BnB, can feel comfortable in doing your own thing. We didn't try the Thai restaurant food but also has good ratings. The owners and bar staff were all super friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I used to visit The Hamilton Arms with my Dad when I was a child and it was one of his favourite pubs. We absolutely loved the food and the service. I remember exactly where we would sit and the food we would order. I always loved the little stall selling Thai gifts in the corner of the pub. This was about 18 years ago if not longer. I visited today with my partner to celebrate what would have been my Dads 78th birthday. The food was exactly how I remember it and the flavours instantly brought back those special memories with my Dad. Even down to the little dish of the cucumber relish. I was telling my partner about the man who used to own it - I had assumed it had been taken over as it had been so long. That was until our bill was brought to our table by that very man! Amazing! So happy that this place has not changed one bit - including the owner. He’s still exactly as I remember him. My partner was so impressed with the food which has made me really happy. Cannot wait for our next meal here. I’m just sorry it’s taken me so long to visit as we have always been reasonably local. Also a shout out to the locals. When we walked in we were instantly greeting and welcomed with a smile and Hello. How lovely. Too often you walk into a pub and feel like you shouldn’t be there with some of the locals. Not this place!

One on the worst meal I have ever had. The starter was soggy and the chicken pad thai was bland . Not only that you can only order the bar menu at lunch. I used eat here often pre covid. Sad to say I won't be eating here again .

Food and service first class. Portions are big, recommend sharing noodle dishes etc. We over ate as usual. Wonderful flavours and lots to choose from. You can stay here too. We have never stayed over but accommodation looks lovely. Good atmosphere, booking essential especially at weekends.

Found this place on the last evening of our recent holiday. It's an absolute gem. Staff and service were excellent and the food is the best Thai food that I have ever tasted. I cannot praise it high enough. My daughter agrees and she has spent many years going back and forth on holiday and business trips to Thailand.

Restaurant Review: Really good Thai food in a surprising setting. The food was 10/10, service excellent and great value for money. Only criticism is a lack of music in the dining area means ambiance can be improved, but it's a pub at the end of the day. Will be back again.

A Tuesday night and we thought the pub/restaurant would be quiet, however, as huge testament to their service and food it was reassuringly busy. Our first time here and we stayed in our motorhome behind the pub. We thoroughly recommend it. The food was amazing. The service and welcome was great. The pub is dog friendly and the car park flat. The pub is well run, efficient and friendly. The food was just delicious. We booked in advance and they blocked off an area with bollards for us. The whole experience was really good and oh, did I mention the food 😋.
