Have been camping at this site annually for over 20 years. This will be my last. The site is not for families or tourists anymore. Itā€™s full of workmen using the site as a base as they work away from home. The site is full of white vans at night and deserted during the day. The only positive is the ladies facilities are clean and free with no queues for the showers etc. if you only want to stop off for a night or two as you continue your travels, this site is fine. I think now is the time for a true review of the site, itā€™s facilities and most important of all, the type of people using the site. Thereā€™s no chance of chatting with foreigners enjoying a London visit, or fellow campers enjoying the weather or the facilities. The only people on site are workmen in their white vans.

I had the most excellent customer service from Brian. His knowledge and kindness was invaluable. He was beyond helpful and went the extra mile to meet my needs. Top top service and brilliant first impression, thank you.

I echo the opinion of all of the more recent reviews. The staff at this site are awful. Arriving alone with 2 small children I was told that the grass pitch booked was a bog and that the caravan would sink down to the axel. Therefore, the recommendation was to move to one of the hard standing pitches. I agreed but was then told I needed to pay extra. If the pitch booked is actually now unusable, contact should be made to communicate that a premium price will apply before arrival. The staff continued to bully me saying that if I chose the grass pitch and my caravan were to sink that they wouldnā€™t help. They then reluctantly showed me the rock solid grass pitch I was allocated and stomped out the 5m boundary, ironically attempting to mark it with a stake in the ground, which was so hard and dry that the stake couldnā€™t penetrate! Unfortunately, I suspect that itā€™s a tactic they are using to get extra bookings at a lower price and then intimidate and bully customers once they have already arrived. I have honestly never experienced a fellow ā€˜camperā€™ that lacked any caravan club spirit of helpfulness and camaraderie! The road is noisy, the showers are clean. Maybe promote the cleaner to front of house as they are clearly the only person taking pride in their job.

This was our first camping trip as a family. We visited Paradise Wildlife Park during the day and stayed at the site overnight for a Father's treat before heading home to the South Coast on Sunday. The site was very well kept and the facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely little play area for children that our 9 year old enjoyed. We really enjoyed our brief stay here and would definitely recommend it. Yes, you can hear the M25 but his wasn't an issue for us.

Just one night at this campsite, but we would have loved to stay longer. Extremely well cared for, everything as regards the facilities is spotless. Very well situated for visits etc.

Nice open site with fairly level pitches. Only one toilet block so some pitches could have a bit of a walk. Lots of visitor parking. The access road, which ends just past the site, is narrow in places and at the main road end can get parked up on one side by visitors to the Tottenham Hotspurs training grounds.

Friendly welcome. Clean site and facilities. Good space between each pitch. Reasonably quiet except for M25 nearby. Happy to recommend

A pleasant site with a "country park" feel to it, facilities seem fresh and maintained to a high standard, welcoming and helpful site assistants. Site is secured with barrier access. WiFi was a little flaky for us at times but not sure why. Prepare to both startle and be startled by numerous grazing rabbits and the occasional deer at dusk. The site is just off the M25 and A10 so there is always a background road noise which you can get used to but reminds you London is not so far away. A couple of London Overground stations are 30 minutes walk from the site for journeys into the city. (August 2022 stay)

Cycled here and stayed one night. Good welcome from the staff and they had thoughtfully chosen a spot where I could lock my bike. Nice, open and flat site with the usual good Camping Club facilties. Only downside is the noise from the M25 which is very close. Noticeable but I got used to it.

Easy to find, good facilities, very clean shower rooms/toilets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Personally, I didnā€™t experience any noise issues from the m25 as some others have mentioned in reviews. Would stay here again.

Being so close to the M25, it inevitably suffers from traffic roar. Nice welcome, and the layout is fine. Oddly, the units seem quite close together, yet loads of empty pitches. Would come back.

Lovely out of the way place to stay. I have seen mention of noise from M25 that is pretty close, yes it's there but nothing too intrusive

Excellent clean - friendly - welcoming site. Can't fault it - Easy directions if you click on their directions link on their campsite post on the camping & caravan website - We are members but you don't have to be - Open all year round it also says - Good for travelling to Harry Potter Warner Bros tour & lovely to return to campsite after busy day. Hope to be back in future.

Quite nice but was next to the motorway/main road so it was loud at night I would recommend for the summer but make sure you can drive to your camping area

Great place for location to m25, road noise high but acceptable. Pitches sizes very good, hosts are very nice and helpful.

I stopped in my small VW camper for a couple of rainy December nights. The welcome is very friendly and the facilities are exemplary. I wanted to visit central London - it's a 30 minutes walk to Turkey Street station then 30 minutes on the train to Liverpool Street station. Recommended - I shall return!

Great facilities just outside of London, kept spotless by wardens and staff. Site used to see Abba Voyage Concert, via Overland & DLR trains. Ā£9 local taxi to the station or 30min walk for direct trains into Liverpool St. Oct 2023

Nice site, reasonable price for small but attractive location. The only downside is the constant low-level traffic noise. However, it's close to London and the M25, so that's to be expected I suppose.

If you need any help for cables, hose, or any other essential staff they dont help. They have not any spare staff. All they say you have to have them we dont help you. We said its not helpful and the manager start talking really unfriendly and said we can leave negatif comment, its fine. We are so disappointed. Nice nature around but quite unpolite staff and manager. Never come back here. We couldnt use electricity or water but still charce 56 pounds for two people with small Van.

We dropped in too visit london branch of family , 4 nights so we could have our grandchildren for the weekend ā€¦.. site it easy too find and well situated from the M25 , staff really helpful and welcoming and friendly. The site itself is spacious, well laid out and well kept, clean and tidy. The facilities are among the best we have seen on club sites. Thereā€™s a small play area for the children and they loved the rabbits bobbin around . Yes u can hear the M25 in the distance but nothing major. Thereā€™s plenty too see and do writhing 2 mile radius and we will definitely visit again when we visit our London family
