Went with 9 of my work colleagues. Food quality is excellent and with authentic Sri Lankan taste. Also you can get Sri Lankan brand drinks like elephant house ginger beer, orange barley ,cream soda, lion beer. (Unfortunately the cream soda was out of stock on the day we visited.) I got chicken rolls as the starters and it was excellent.Had string hoppers with curry and sambal as main meal. Only downside is the portion size of the main meal was bit smaller for my liking. Hoped they had bigger size string hoppers or at least 10 string hoppers. Anyway my friends who ordered chicken kottu seems to be happy with their portion size. Restaurant was not crowded and service seems to be okay. Toilets are clean and well maintained. There are several council car parks within walking distance, so parking is not an issue. Although the prices are bit towards expensive side, for authentic Sri Lankan food this place is highly recommended.

Was part of a group of 8. Booked early ahead of a show at the local theatre. We were clear we needed to be out at 7.30pm. Unfortunately the food service was dreadfully slow despite being the only table. We had to chase and the last main course arrived at the time we had to leave. What food was served was nice but when you’re told that a large takeaway order took priority it didn’t make us feel valued as customers in anyway. Sorry but we won’t be back.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The design of the place is lovely and unique. The staff member who served us was lovely and very informative of a cuisine that was unfamiliar and the food....oh the food. Delicious! Full of flavours, well presented and the portion sizes are just right. Highly recommended

Great, friendly service. The staff give really good recommendations. The food is so tasty, with a punch. This is one of the restaurants that neither vegan nor meateater leave feeling like they got the afterthought in the menu. Good value wine too.

Visited last night as a couple, I was astounded by the quality of the food, every dish was bursting with flavour. Definitely the tastiest food in Macclesfield. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the value for money was exceptional. Well done Kandy we will return.

KANDY have great range of Sri Lankan food and I love their starter platters and Devil dishes .The starters are great. Very good atmosphere and staffs are friendly and polite. I have already booked our Christmas staff party in two weeks. Thank you 🙏

My first visit, and hopefully the first of many. The food was sensational, great flavours and very well presented. Server was lovely and very knowledgeable about all the dishes. We went on a Monday evening and it was quiet which is a shame because it was so good!

I recently enjoyed the Wednesday vegan buffet with my girlfriend, and it was fantastic! The food took me back to Sri Lanka with its authentic flavors and good spice levels. The vegan options were abundant, and the indoor decor added to the traditional Sri Lankan vibe. If you're a fan of delicious, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, this place is a must-try!

Just paid 6 quid for 3 pinky sized duck spring rolls with a sauce which wasn't what the menu states. The jackfruit delight is mediocre unfortunately it lacks in flavour. The pork Sizzler was tasty that's why there's 3 stars, it was asked for very spicy and it was, very spicy!! Staff took 34 quid and they didn't offer me my change. I will order again to try the Sizzler for myself as that tasted good. But I can't currently recommend...

Love this restaurant. Food is delicious, fresh, and dishes are far more varied & punchy than at an Indian restaurant. Service is attentive and the owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming and happy to help you choose. Had an amazing dinner at Kandy Authentic Sri Lankan Food Restaurant with a group of 8. We started with the Vegan Platter – so many delicious options! Our main course was the Kandy Vegan Special, and it was fantastic. The service was top-notch, with a friendly and welcoming staff. They made our dining experience memorable. If you're into authentic Sri Lankan food and great service, this place is a winner! Will definitely be back for more tasty meals. Highly recommend!

Superb! First time here and really enjoyed the authentic food. Delicious fish cake to start and rice dish with prawns and chicken and spicy sauce. Excellent serive and lovely decor...highly recommended

We had Mixed platter followed by Chicken Kottu and Pork Devil.Saffron rice and coconut beard. All Lovely. Me and my partner both enjoyed the New IPA They had for offer. We will be returne Soon. My 3rd time eating here. Normally just selecting off the menu which always has me excited at the very different dishes and flavors on offer. This trip however was for the Vegan buffet night. Such great value for money and the opportunity to try lots of new flavors and foods I would never normally go for. My 10yr old daughter really enjoyed the foods on offer and the variety. Overall, a wonderful place that adds a very new dimension to a wide range of dining choices in macclesfield and makes it's own unique place that should be visited and frequently too! Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff always add to ensure your experience leaves you happy.

Friendly, competent service, readily available to explain and recommend from the menu. Note to the wise: a "medium" here is a hot in your usual Indian restaurant. Every dish was beautiful and so flavoursome. Cooked perfectly. I had jack fruit for the first time and it was amazing! Reminded me of pulled pork. Was spoilt for choice so I guess I'll have to come back!

Eaten here twice - Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food, great and super friendly service and lots of gluten free options suitable for Coeliacs - including popodums, curries, noodles, rice, stir fries, dosa breads and lentil cakes - and a vegan and gluten free cheesecake for dessert. Will return :D

Came here for dinner last night with friends, one being vegan and one vegetarian. Soooo much choice and it all sounded AMAZING! ❤️ The mixed vegan platter for starters was amazing, so much flavour and just delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
