We placed a large order with the Farnborough store on 20 October 2019 for delivery on 21 December 2019. On the day of delivery, we had one package missing from the warehouse and no car seat and car base. We only found out after calling the customer service line that they had ran out of the car seat and base that we ordered and that it would be reordered and delivered by 1pm on Tuesday 31 December. Then on this date, nothing arrived and we again chased them to find out that they had issues getting the goods into the country and was again promised that it would be delivered on 9 January 2020. This time we were told it would be “guaranteed”. Again nothing has arrived and we are trying to contact the customer service team. We are due any day now and not having a car seat is causing us anxiety at this stage. I don’t know how an order placed in October is still not fulfilled today. The customer service team has just advised that it could come later this week or early next and that’s no good when I’m due any minute! The worst insult is that it takes at least half an hour to get through to them. Not shopping here anymore.

Customer service is really bad. The girls behind the counter were gossiping as I was trying to ask for her about buying a travel system as need one in a couple months. I was told twice that they will be there in a minute to help me but after half an hour of waiting i left and had been in the store for over an hour. Really disappointed. I went to baby gear in camberley to buy my travel system and the customer service there was amazing! Really a shame.

Excellent service and very helpful... Gave a demonstration on the pram and offered buy now, pay later offer which keeps the deal. Definitely recommend for first time parents Thanks 😊

I feel like 3 stars is very fair. Sadly I was rather disappointed with my visit I have been to other mama & papa stores where my experience was fantastic however, on my arrival I felt instantly out of place and found my self wondering to find what I was looking for with no help offered. Staff seemed disinterested and not very approachable, the people that where already with customers did seem fantastic and helpful this wasn't directed at all the staff on. I got very disheartened quickly and lost my interest in what I came there to look for. Seems such a shame when I have had good experiences in other stores. My mother however did purchase a lovely cot mobile which is shown in the photo. I fully understand it was a Sunday afternoon and its hard to keep up such high energy but I feel my 3 stars was more than far for my experience.

We can't Thank Emma enough for her help today. She was wonderful, putting my daughter at ease. And enabling my daughter to be calm about her "hate" of buying a carseat. Emma was down to earth and gave my family the time we needed to find what we needed. AMAZING LADY if only all shops had a lady like Emma ...

Although I don't buy things everytime I go in I always find the staff incredibly helpful. I always have questions and they always go out of their way to find the answer. I have also had them pricemtch for me in the past and this was done swiftly and easily. Highly recommend visiting this shop as a new parent.

Had a fantastic service from Angel at the Farnborough branch today. She made our baby shopping a pleasant experience .

There's a lot of choice and it's nice to be able to see things before buying them... But when you ask the shop assistant for help and they try telling you that pregnancy lasts for 10 months not 9, they can't answer any of your questions, know nothing about safety features (or features in general) and they're just trying to push you into buying their brands, it not very helpful and doesn't particularly inspire confidence.

We’ve been in a few times as first time parents with lots and lots of questions. Always super helpful, think we’ve spoken to a lady called Poppy a few times and she’s always great, very knowledgeable. Great range of products and space to test prams out. Staff are all great & happy for you to try out

Amazing customer service. Everytime I've been in everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. Earlier today a lovely lady Angel helped me with a faulty breast pump. I was worried as I didn't have my receipt to hand but she was able to locate it on their system and resolved the issue very quickly! Thank you again!

Really good customer service from Emma , Thoroughly explained the use and features for the push chair on a variety of models and we ended up spending around £1500 on other quality must buy items , Emma fully gave us her time and knowledge and it’s by far the best I’ve seen from Other stores. Well done guys

I think this store is fabulous! Emma was beyond helpful and spent easily 3 hours with us demo-ing prams and car seats etc. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so patient with all the mum-to-be questions! The store itself was beautifully clean and the facilities were excellent. Great variety of items on show and I left extremely pleased with my new pram set on order, car seat, bottle sterilising kit and teddy bear! Would highly recommend!

I could not rate the team at the Farnborough store enough. They were absolutely amazing. I got the baby’s car seat from them and when I went back three and a half months later to say that my baby doesn’t like it they were very quick to offer me another one with no questions asked, they did everything they could to make sure we were happy 😃. Best team ever x

Our recent visit to Mamas & Papas in Farnborough was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the fantastic customer service provided by Jordan. From the moment we walked into the store, Jordan made us feel welcome. We encountered a small issue, but Jordan's swift action and prompt resolution was genuinely impressive. Her friendly demeanor, coupled with her professionalism, made us feel at ease and confident that we were in good hands. I will undoubtedly be returning to Mamas & Papas Farnborough to complete our baby essentials shopping.

Me and my girlfriend were shopping for our first born and were not sure where to start with looking for a pram among all the other bits we needed. Tete was so helpful and friendly in informing us and showing us how it all worked and putting us at ease! I’d definitely recommend anyone in the area to visit here for their baby bits!

I will say the only time ive recieved genuine and good customer here is from a young lady called Hayley who i actually emailed mamas papas about but never heard anything back so im writing it on here. Any other time ive been instore the service has not been good i would say barely average. The product offering is ok but you can often find the same products cheaper online if not mamas and papas own brand products. Price match is available so that is a plus. I feel as whole its not the most welcoming and slightly off putting. They have regular promotions but the selection of clothes is not the best. Its more boutique for babies rather then practical every day wear. It is a shame. I felt i wanted to leave a review after receiving some really disssapointing service where i was left feeling unwelcome and actually abit incompetent when i asked 2 questions about a car seat. Not the nicest experience so im getting it from somewhere else.

Such a lovely store. Having been to Westfield M&P and being slightly overwhelmed we decided to try a different branch. We were greeted by Katie who gave us the most amazing personal shopping experience. It felt so personal and thorough! Katie thank you for helping us chow everything and giving us clarity! I went their today as my buggy was getting a bit of wear and tear. I spoke to the young girl at the desk with dark brown hair feel really bad now cannot remember her name. Anyway I went in and all I had was pleasant help and I was really happy with how quickly she delt with me. By far the best customer service I have had from anywhere. More places need to take a page out of her book and learn how it’s done.

Thank you to the two lovely staff who helped me last saturday morning to find all the things my wife had listed that I'd never heard of :). Great experience all round. ps. To readers - just to note that they open an hour earlier on saturdays, and the carpark is still quiet at that time.

Myself and my daughter went looking for a future purchase of a pram/pushchair today. We were greeted and approached without having to ask. The young lady that served us (name began with R) was so patient answering our questions and letting us try the strollers in the car to see if they would fit (on more than one occasion). She didnt rush us and didn’t tire of our very rookie questions. Even knowing that we were not purchasing today made no difference to the level of care she gave and I felt she gave us excellent advice. All that’s needed now is for a final choice of which bundle is appropriate and we will order :).
