Not the friendliest of receptionists. Not the worst just, meh. Pleasantly surprised by the room it was lovely. It would be much nicer if the wood shelves were dark, it would improve the room no end. The bed was really comfy and I would love to know where they get their pillows from. I didn't sleep well because the sound of the fans from the pub were quite loud and I can't sleep with the window shut. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

Great little hotel close to the town centre. Very friendly staff who were really helpful. I stayed for two nights as part of a large group, they ensured cots were put in the kids room and helped us with other queries like pre booking breakfast. Free parking to the rear. Little frustrating you can only check in from 3pm and no bar to wait in downstairs but rooms comfortable and breakfast was very good.

I was up from midnight to 4am absolutely terrified because of what sounded like a terrible argument bordering on domestic abuse or violence. The “24 hour service” was unavailable the 7 separate times I called between those hours. I called reception, and he LAUGHED. And said reception was dealing with housekeeping. He continued to interrupt me, didn’t care at all about the well-being of those in the hotel, continuously interrupting me. I now wander if I should have called the police, which is what I’m doing this morning, to protect the poor woman who was outside my door screaming while her partner was bashing around and screaming back at her.

Stayed here for 2nights in January when it was the coldest spell for years . The staff are great, the rooms and bathrooms have just been refurbished and are good. The attached area for eating serves up a quality breakfast. The only downside is, other guests, the inconsiderate ones, who bang doors loudly and parents with young children who let them run around in 1st rooms, Up at 6am crying and winging. Not really a reflection on the place as we were probably unlucky.

Booked this hotel for my parents from 17/06 to 18/06/23. We received the warmest welcome from Sofia who immediately made us feel at home. Her service was legendary and we were delighted to have chosen this hotel. The room was very clean and the location perfect. You sure have earned a repeat customer. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel with my family over the Bank Holiday weekend 28.04 - 30.04 The rooms were big, clean with good facilities. The reception staffs were very helpful. The location is perfect for our event nearby. Mr Farouk (Catering man) was excellent with breakfast service and always taking the order promptly and enduring the meal was hot on delivery. I look forward to be back here.

Have only been here one day of our weeklong stay, but I've already been charmed. Double decker buses stop right out front, it has a lovely cottage feel out front, and the service is very accommodating. Extra towels and blankets for our large family, offers to store our extra luggage behind their desk, and constantly-smiling faces always asking if we need anything else. They literally try to meet our needs before we even ask! Sofia, you're exemplary! I enjoyed what I feel is some nice British cuisine next door at the carvery.

This is one of my favorite premier inns. What makes it special is the staff. Always excellent service. Brilliant service from this evenings reception (2nd March 2023). Premier plus rooms also everything you need when away.

Really great service, clean and tidy room and the breakfast was amazing! Fluffy scrambled eggs and delicious pastries by chef Nehal. Farouk made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our stay here was very enjoyable and I would have no hesitation staying at this Premier Inn again.

Stayed on 20th sept 2023 for business, friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms, thank you Farouk and Rosie for having us at breakfast just before closing time and for being friendly 🙂 Hopefully see you soon again.

Wonderful visit back again as we do each year for our reunion. So lovely to see the friendly face of Farouk yet again and nice to see the same members of staff time and time again. Breakfast was amazing thanks to the wonderful chef Khilola, good quality food, very much value for money. Farouq you excel yourself each time with your warm welcome thank you! Reception staff very cheery and helpful (sorry didn't get a name) but lovely warm personality. Back again soon!

Arrived half an hour early, and although we were told our room was ready, we were asked to pay £10 per room to check in early. We declined and were asked to leave a review by the receptionist. Upon checking in, just half an hour later, the new receptionist was helpful enough, but also wanted us to leave a review. We hadn't even seen our room by this point. So we'd be leaving a review on the colour of the reception and the carpet leading to the room. Next morning, we made our way to breakfast and were assisted by the most helpful gentleman......but he also wanted us to leave a review. Premier Inn Loughton/Buckhurst Hill, you don't need to hound your guests for reviews. If I decide to leave a review, asking me over and over again will not make me leave a review straight away! This is my review, stop asking everyone to leave a review!! And also clean the bathroom better!!!

OMG. I was told that because there was refurbishment going on, the reduced number of available rooms meant I had to pay more. £161 for one night. No bar. Restaurant closed. Ice machine broken. Staff were apologetic and lovely. Room was VERY old and tired but it was clean and bed was OK. Hopefully I'll never have to stay in a Premier Inn again.

Great area and nice hotel, handy as it's just inside the M25 as I drove down to London this time as the return train fare has become a joke. No doubt car travel will be banned for little people in the future so I am making the most of it whilst I can !!

My rating has nothing to do with the staff at this location....just the room. Stayed in a lot of Premier Inns but this one failed to meet expectations. The room was noisy and felt unkept. There was a broken oil heater in the room with its wires showing and black mould in the shower. Light bulbs were broken. Only one pillow each. On the Sunday morning at approx 8am, cleaners were noisily cleaning empty rooms. On the plus side, the receptionist that checked us in was lovely and very helpful. Farouk and his chef, Camelia, at breakfast were very tentative and friendly. These staff get a 5* rating.

The hotel generally very good, breakfast menu sets you up for the day, gluten free option, However,as an invalid was rather disappointed, riser rail hanging off slope in bathroom pulled you towards the drain, hanging rail only suitable for children's clothes and no heating on a rather cold night Disabled parking inadequate

1/11/2021 our room was clean but dated the heating worked but took along time to warm the room but there was a portable radiator that helped speed this up the bathroom was quite small with a shower cubicle no bath Have stayed in a lot of premier inns this one is ok but ineed of a complete up date

It is very overpriced. Very basic accommodation. No breakfast included in the price. The rooms have musty smell. Will not be staying again

Staff lovely, rooms clean and tidy. Bed; linen clean, bed very high and mattress very uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep on that bed again! Not sure if you requested a firm mattress it's something they could offer.

Absolutely raging at their poor service. Came to this hotel only because its close to my training and got told the room has a leak. They tried calling me but no phone calls on my phone. The lady completely clueless on reception and tried to book me away in Stanstead so im sitting 11pm at night with no room and still waiting to see what this woman will do. Kept blaming management shes just a night worker???? What a strange and pathetic hotel. Im close to calling the police!

Rooms could use a mini fridge, and offer toiletry essentials to guests just in case scrambling guests need them. (Toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, brush, socks, etc.) Complimentary breakfast would be nice as well for guess already paying to book rooms, and/or meal vouchers to the pub next door. Lighter bedding for warmer weather would be ideal instead of waking up sweaty, and since ac is not common here . Otherwise, quaint place for temporary stay.

Rooms are very modern with a good shower. Ample parking with a pub restaurant on site as well. Only gripe was that we waited 20 minutes for our cooked Breakfast. It was nice and hot though when it arrived.

Stayed just one night, rooms clean although the extractor didn't work and the hum from nearby electricity sub station was intrusive at night. Cooked Breakfast was nothing special, but staff very friendly
