I
am
compelled
to
share
my
recent
experience
with
Warden
Lodge
Medical
Practice,
and
unfortunately,
it
has
been
nothing
short
of
frustrating
and
disappointing.
My
family
and
I
recently
received
a
letter
to
schedule
vaccinations
for
our
children,
who
were
born
abroad
and
already
had
vaccines
documented
on
their
cards.
The
entire
process
at
this
GP
practice
has
been
marred
by
incompetence
and
a
lack
of
professionalism.
During
our
first
appointment,
the
nurse
struggled
to
match
our
children's
vaccination
records
with
the
UK
standard.
With
the
assistance
of
Google,
we
managed
to
guide
her
through
the
process.
However,
shockingly,
she
failed
to
record
the
vaccine
administered
to
our
son
in
their
system.
This
oversight
became
apparent
during
our
next
visit
when
another
nurse
informed
us
that
the
previous
record
was
not
on
the
system.
Despite
explaining
that
this
conversion
had
already
been
done,
we
were
told
it
was
not
recorded,
and
the
nurse
didn't
have
the
time
to
rectify
it
immediately.
Promises
of
a
callback
for
the
next
vaccine
were
made
but
were
never
fulfilled.
Attempting
to
address
these
issues
by
calling
the
practice
has
proven
to
be
a
Herculean
task.
The
front
staff,
especially
the
receptionist
Kate,
displayed
extreme
unprofessionalism
by
hanging
up
on
me
when
I
requested
to
speak
to
the
practice
manager.
Such
behaviour
is
unacceptable,
and
it
reflects
poorly
on
the
overall
quality
of
service
at
this
GP
practice.
Another
glaring
issue
is
the
appointment
booking
system,
which
requires
patients
to
call
precisely
at
8.00
am.
Despite
making
diligent
efforts
to
secure
appointments,
the
experience
has
been
exasperating.
Disconnections
after
waiting
for
extended
periods
and
a
lack
of
consideration
for
patients'
time
and
effort
are
utterly
disheartening.
As
contributing
members
of
society,
we
expect
the
healthcare
system,
funded
through
our
national
insurance,
to
provide
efficient
and
accessible
services.
Unfortunately,
Warden
Lodge
Medical
Practice
falls
woefully
short
of
meeting
these
expectations.
To
add
insult
to
injury,
we
received
a
recent
text
message
stating
that
walk-ins
for
appointments
would
no
longer
be
allowed.
This,
coupled
with
the
difficulty
in
booking
appointments
over
the
phone,
raises
serious
concerns
about
how
this
practice
plans
to
fulfill
its
obligations
to
the
patients
and
the
NHS.
In
conclusion,
if
there
were
a
way
to
assign
a
negative
star
rating,
Warden
Lodge
Medical
Practice
would
undoubtedly
receive
it.
This
review
serves
as
a
plea
to
the
relevant
authorities
to
address
the
glaring
issues
within
this
practice
promptly.
I
am
taking
my
complaint
to
the
necessary
bodies
to
ensure
that
the
vaccination
needs
of
my
children,
and
those
of
others,
are
not
compromised
due
to
the
inefficiencies
of
this
GP
practice.
