A beautiful and tranquil park with lots of places to walk, rest or play depending on the nature of your visit. A large duck pond can be found (more or less) in the centre, which is a great place to feed the ducks. There are lots of benches dotted around and a large playground as well as a basketball court / 5 a side pitch. Parking is very limited (but free) and it's a great place to go to unwind.

Beautiful park, lovely long walk, many dog walkers. Two small obstacles is that cattle at times free roam and out of respect dogs must be kept on a lead. Dodging cow poop and high traffic mud can make it a challenge so bring your wellies or boots in the wetter and sodden weather. Dog poop bins are mainly located in the main park and none in the back field so you will have to carry it some way if you choose to explore. All round this walk gives you a physically challenging workout with hills and dips all over. Highly recommend around sunset as the views can be spectacular. *****

Beautiful park. Could only spend one hour there during a work break, but look forward to going back again, and spend more time taking in the beauty of it.

Attended Barclay parkrun. My second visit to this wonderful event and it was their 8th Birthday and the 1st run on their summer course. A wonderful and friendly mixture of runners and walkers all enjoying the experience.

Well manicured, tranquil park with added open space leading to ancient woodland. The play area and lake are good for kids, and it's a great place to start a longer walk towards Hertford or Brickenden.

Clean, well kept park, great kids area and the urban football / basketball hardcourts are fully netted! So no long hikes when you hoof it over like myself.

This is my local park very close to my home. It's beautiful and very well kept by volunteers.

The best thing in Hoddesdon is this park. There is an area for children to play, a lake and beautiful scenery even in the winter. It has hills and also flat areas. I really love it

This is one of the best local park surrounded by woods, open grassy fields, walking tracks, children play area pond in the middle of the park with seats to sit, relax and enjoy the nature, dog walking and dog playing areas. Adjacent to the park are tennis courts, football club and cricket club. Literally stone through distance from Hoddesdon Town centre. If you are in and around Hoddesdon don't miss to visit the park

Came here for a quick walk in the not so good weather. Small park and it's quite muddy so make sure that you don't wear those white sneakers ;) It's quite gloomy weather when we went there, thus unable to bother to take photo of the park but managed to the photos and video of these couple swan :) If you just want to get out of your house if you stay nearby and have a quick walk, this can be a good option.

Really lovely place for a walk. Wheelchair and pushchair accessable. Short walk took us around 40mins to.go round the paths which included some nice views, a small lake with ducks and a large field with plenty of seats. We stopped for a picnic and spent in total around 2 hours here which is just enough. Really recommend for a short walk with little ones. Nice free car park although a little small so guess it fills up when busy but we arrived at 10am and there was still spaces. Looks like sports clubs work out here and the local highstreet is only a couple roads away so could "althought I didn't" pop to shops if anything was forgotten

Fab and beautiful undulating park with great equipment including a zip wire and lovely, short walk to the duck pond. Only minus is the ice cream van only takes cash (dodgy much?) and charges extra for sprinkles. You've been warned!
