Walked in and knew a few people who work here from Way Way back. It was good to see Tommy and Evelyn! Then I Taught some Pool for a while and had a Good Time. The Band was Very Nice as well ~ Friendly & Respectful

Loved bowling at this place Tuesday night. Great place to enjoy my evening. We only got mozzarella sticks from the kitchen which was good. Everyone on the staff were cool. Clean place too. Will definitely go back.

Pool was fun, drinks strong, you now order at the bar versus when they used to serve you at the tables while you play pool. Usually short staffed, but the food is great, environment is chill, and a good time

This place was one of my least favorite experiences in MA so far. For a place that looks so unimpressive, the prices are surely way up there. I was there with a couple friends and service was slow. Food was decent, drinks were horrible. Everything is overpriced and underwhelming. Beware, as gratuity is already added & waitresses will not give you a heads up if you don’t notice this and will happily collect more in tips if you’re not paying attention. I voiced my concern to management & though they were willing to make things right if I returned, I was already too appalled at the entire ordeal, I just decided to add this place to my burn book of places to NEVER return to again.

Okay, because I never thought that a bowling alley would have the type of food that Westgate lanes offered. Then I was blown away by the fries and the fact that pineapple actually tastes good on a burger. I haven't been here in a long time, but someone is definitely doing something right!

Been looking for a good standard ten-pin lane. Westgate was all that and more. The lanes were high quality Brunswick lanes, good oil patterns, and had very courteous staff. The pub staff were great and brought food right to our lane and were very kind. The alley also offers candlepin, has an arcade, bar/restaurant, a pro shop, and hosts many leagues!

after 9:30pm on Firda& Saturday nights it's $20 bucks a person to pLay unLimited amounts of games of BOWLING! They have LOUD music pLaying, sorta Like jamn'94.5 or Hot96.9 type of music, which kinda pumped me up whiLe bowLing! They have a LiVE band in the bar/Lounge area(away/separate from the bowLing aLLey)which was pretty cooL, considering my bf&friends&i got thier at 8:15pm(&decided 2wait untiL 9:30 to pLay-so we went in the bar, had a few drinks 1st&watched some older guys pLay cover Rock music & they were actuaLLy REALLY GOOD! after 930, we only played maybe 4games of bowLing, but it was great having a waitress serve us drinks whiLe we got 2continue bowLing! They had a good seLection of food to eat as WELL, we didn't order any,but saw a few ppL near us getting served food from 1of the waitress (&it LooKED YUMMY)! THE ONLY DOWNSIDE i wLd say, is that th3 music in the bowLing area was WICKED LOUD & we cLd BARELY even hear eachother taLking! but OVERALL, we DEF had FUN! Westgate Lanes was a GREAT inexpensive night out!

Been here a few times. Mixed experiences… while this is the cheapest place to go bowling near Boston, past few visits have come up short. If you’re just looking for somewhere reasonably priced to bowl near Boston, then this will work. But I’d recommend going elsewhere for food. A few takeaways for the 3-star review. The DJ for cosmic bowling had a solid playlist, and people were enjoying the music, but it was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation so we left after our first game. The food was a big miss for us, we had chicken fingers and fries, and everything had a fishy aftertaste. This happened during our first visit and haven’t had food here since, maybe they’ve made improvements? The Arcade has a wide range of options, but a number of the games were either broken or not fully functional. We left with money on our card hoping they’d fix some of the games, but they were still broken on our next visits. We’ve been back multiple times for the bowling hoping the other areas improve, but haven’t seen any major changes yet

Still in disbelief about how we were treated by the middle aged blonde woman at the bowling alley renting the shoes. We would have stayed for much longer if she wasn’t so rude. I would recommend anyone to not go here unless you’re willing to have a good time interrupted by arrogant staff. I will definitely never go back. Spend your money at Kings or Boston Bowl, it’s much better spent there.

I haven't been to Westgate lanes since the early 2010's, but, I have been coming since the really early 2000's and this place is amazing. I've been coming here since I was a child so I've went through the birthday parties here, family bowling day on the weekends and even having lunch and dinner in the pub. The Westgate lanes does get busy but it isn't busy enough for you to get a lane or a pool table to play with family or friends. It is always a good time and nice place to spend time with your people. Same with the pub. The bar and grill has always been a great place to eat and hang out. I have always enjoyed owning here just to eat and I plan on coming here when I'm back in MA just to have a bite. If you haven't came to the Westgate lanes yet or in a while, I recommend coming to this place and giving it a try. You won't regret it!

Pretty terrible all around. We went 6ish on Tuesday night wanting to grab dinner before bowling. Service was slow even though we were the only table in the dining room for a good half hour before one other table arrived. Food was just bad and way overpriced. $17 for sad picture included. Also, we were told no lanes were open since every night is league night. Would have never eaten and wasted the money if we had known.

Great time bowling but I loved the arcade. They have a very clean place and do birthday parties abs have packages to save money. If you have a few hours to kill I recommend to throwing some quarters into the air hockey table. They also have pool tables that are rented by the hour.

I came here with my family for a work related function in the pub area. I really enjoyed this place and thought the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place.

Enjoyed a few hours with my wife playing pool in the multi table hall. We had food and drinks delivered to us either in the bar or the pool hall. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent buffalo wings, celery, carrots, and blue cheese.

The bowling was fun. Probably the cleanest place in Brockton. They offer candle pin and regular pin lanes as well as an arcade section where you can play games and win prizes. They also have a restaurant that’s in the same building, stand-alone as well with its own door so if you don’t want to stay and bowl you can still enter and from another side. I got The Westgate Triple Play which had 3 chicken 3 mozzarella sticks and 3 stuffed potato skins.

Great venue to grab a drink and apps while listening to live music. The options are great here and gets crowded during the night time. Lots of parking and seating on the inside.

Nice neighborhood place. Staff friendly and attentive. Pool league on Monday the day I went on one side other side with plenty tables for non league folks. Bar food. Bowling and Arcade also. Something for everyone.

$6.5/person/game, $3.25/shoe. Or $20/lane/hour + shoes. Simplifying, it’s more worthy to do per person games if there are more than 3 ppl. Downsides are not enough balls and not enough varieties of weights. I could only find a single 6# with XS. People who play around you could be rude, or super high that make 2 lanes away can smell. Pros are their machines are sensitive and bring the balls back fast.

The arcade is overpriced, a lot of machines are consistently broken, and staff are unhelpful. Mondays are half price in the arcade so that helps a little, and there are a few fun games to play if you're here anyways. However, it is still a fun place for bowling & billiards. Bowling is a bit expensive at night but they do have early specials. There are candlepin lanes, as well, and they fill up fast. Regular bowling seems to have more availability. Very fun atmosphere. The billiards room & bar has a very chill atmosphere. Even on busy league nights, it doesn't feel too crowded. Nights with live music are livelier in the bar. The servers/bartenders are all very attentive & welcoming, and help keep me coming back because I know they take great care of their guests! There are some things that are still outdated here, like the parking lot, and the bathrooms could use some repairs, but overall Westgate Lanes is a fun & comfortable place!

Fun, low-key, inexpensive bowling alley. They have an arcade area now too which is fun after a few rounds of bowling. Food is good, people are nice, and even on a league night it wasn't difficult to get a lane.

The hourly rate scheme is much easier than the old way. Everything in some state of disrepair however the prices are fair for a fun family outing. Skip the arcade if you can the value is just not there. The prizes and payouts are good but the games are poor in selection and not great value.

Worst experience I’ve ever had a bowling alley. my daughter is autistic and will only drink out of her water thermos which is spill proof but was confronted harshly by the woman behind the counter. she would not allow it inside I tried to plead with but she was short and rude in her response stating "No exceptions " repeatedly

I would give this place 4 1/2 stars. It's really nice. Fun place. It's a little dated but still a good time. Fun for adults and kids. I recommend this place and would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Just had the worst experience on a Saturday night. Got switched 4 times because the lanes kept breaking down or they weren’t returning our balls. Was told by the kid working that he would tend to me after he helps get shoes for the lady at the front desk. Worst customer service ever. Only good part was the waitress was great person and helped us as much as she could. Even got a free round. Until the lane broke down again in the middle of the free round and we decided to cancel our food order and spend our money elsewhere.

This is a good place to go bowling and they also have a area to play pool in the pub. They have live music on certain days. They also have an arcade for the kids. The food here is outstanding. I totally recommend coming here for a night out or even during the days a good time..

I brought my grandsons and husband to Westgate lanes and was so surprised, since owners has changed I see this new owner did a lot of cutbacks and raised up the prices like crazy. The food sucks, my chicken fingers where smaller and hard and didn't have no taste to them. They use to be big and juicy. My fries was old and soggy with oil. My grandson loves fries and he said I don't like those fries. The quesadilla was so dry and was awful. My sister told me their food has gotten bad. I should have listened to her. When you cut back, cut the things that wasn't making money. People was coming there just for the food and drinks. So sad how this place went down.

Hi, there well my girl friend and I been going sense a very long time before it even changed owner probably from earlier 2004-2005, so I have my share of good time good food dance play almost every entertainment probably my first date with my present fiance. Just that 1919 with the pandemic everything slow down but still recommend to any one that want to have a good time and enjoy the good food and live music on weekends Thanks west gate lanes
