Probst has been in existance for many moons. I remember mom use to buy rolls here on a Friday when we were kids. For me thats already more then 35 years ago. Imagine it existed before I was born. The place is rich with golden memories, fresh treats, a great menu, great for a quick stop as well. And most of all a cuppa with a bestie! My pic is a take away of some delicious treats💃

The best Brötchen in Namibia. Be there early as they sell out quickly. Probst, increase the quantity that you bake!

Cashiers were friendly but the kitchen staff was slow. Had to wait over 20min for brotchens which the cashier in said will be done quickly. Decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund which took another 10min for them to get the relevant person in charge to sort it out and then my order magically appear and now they can't cancel it because the food is ready.

Get on the go a quick, enjoyable cappuccino for that extra kick that you need to get through the day. I love the beautifully branded take-away cups of Probst Cafe... "A place where friends meet." It couldn't be said better. Thank you for always making it worth stopping at your Cafe. 👌🧁☕️🍰🫖

A very pleasant place hidden in the middle of Walvis. Great selection of pastries and food with very reasonable prices too.

I have to give full marks to this place. A dear friend recommended the place to us and we were not disappointed. It was a very busy Saturday morning and all customers had big smiles on their faces. The staff serviced us in such a friendly and snappy way. The confectionary available is in another class. You need more days to try out all the available options. Very nice please do not miss this when you go to Walvis Bay. Well done all of you!

Use to love this place, waited to be assisted, while the people that got there after us, were assisted before us. By the time the lady at the counter finally deceided to take our order, the specific treat that we went there for, were all sold out. Will not bother going there again.

This eclair pastry changed my life. It was recommended to us by a employee and boy it didn’t disappoint. We just had lunch nearby and I regret not being able to come here for a full meal. The pastry was just perfect and the whip cream concoction was light and airy. Definitely stop by!!!

For many years it's been the best place in walvis Bay for a light lunch or coffee and a cheese brötchen.

We ordered take away Brötchens. They were very busy, but it was a good experience and their "Schweine Ohren" are the best!

We stood for nearly 15 minutes and waited to be served only to have a person be served before us who came in after us. Looked like person was known to staff. I walked.out as a result. Drove to Multisave and were helped within seconds. Extremely disappointing experience.

Two incomplete meals with an order of five dishes, waiter tried, but not much to be done about the kitchen... Rather disappointing for such a historic landmark

It's still the best place to have breakfast in town for as long as I can remember! They've been around longer than me, and great to see the family still operate it.

Allways nice to visit and we bought snacks there to take back to Jhb. The front desk girls made a special package up and 2 days later our kids enjoyed it still fresh as ordered by them. Well done and thanks again.

Many years ago, even 5 yrs ago, Willy Probs Bakery was know as one of thé best places in Walvisbay. Now, it's just okay, I was very disappointed when come back 5 yrs later and find that the quality of service, that was always Amazing, is gone, steaks are not prepared correctly, bread not that good, and the coffee ☕, really? It was always our first stop in morning, the Coffee was fantastic, now you ask for coffee, it's cold and.... No, can someone please bring back the quality that use to be there? I miss the old Probs, friendly, helpful, chatty waiter's that couldn't wait to greet you with a smile... Someone please 🙏 do something

Was a lovely experience with the family on our departure back to South Africa. The waiter Suzie was friendly and hospitable. The menu could cater for the client requiring either a small meal to a feast. On our way out we also had the opportunity to have some desserts. Will definitely return again when the opportunity arises. Thank you
