The
best
local
Honey
in
Australia,
well
that
is
my
opinion.
We
may
live
in
the
area,
but
we
always
love
coming
back
to
Beechworth
Honey.
Over
the
years
we
have
had
the
pleasure
of
watching
Beechworth
Honey
grow
and
expand
its
produce
to
buy.
We
were
even
excited
to
find
Beechworth
Honey
made
it
up
to
Townsville
while
we
worked
there.
When
we
moved,
we
went
and
bought
a
heap
of
Honey
to
take
with
us
as
at
the
time
not
many
supermarkets
stocked
it,
but
now
you
can
just
about
find
their
stock
standard
honey
in
most
supermarkets.
The
highlight
of
visiting
the
actual
Beechworth
based
store
is
not
only
do
you
get
to
see
the
wide
range
of
honey
you
can
purchase
that
is
of
course
after
you
have
a
taste
test.
But
they
have
a
wonderful
Bee
education
program
where
you
can
learn
about
the
extracting
process
for
honey
and
how
Beechworth
Honey
has
grown
and
developed
over
the
years,
this
a
great
supportive
education
visit
for
home-schooling
or
extra
learning
for
kids
I
love
the
fact
that
there
is
so
much
you
can
buy
in
the
shop,
there
is
such
a
huge
range
of
different
types
of
honey,
my
favourite
is
the
Orange
Blossom
Honey,
and
the
Lemon
Myrtle
is
divine.
But
you
can
get
the
traditional
basic
honey
through
to
different
Flavors
and
even
honey
with
honeycomb.
We
enjoyed
the
drinks
that
they
had
the
honey
Nectar
was
sweet
and
tasty,
at
$3.95
a
bottle
it
was
so
worth
it.
We
did
try
both
flavours,
but
the
honey
nectar
was
our
favourite.
Honey
pots
are
on
average
$10
+
a
jar.
The
shop
has
all
sorts
of
goodies
to
buy
apart
from
honey,
you
could
also
purchase
toys,
beauty
products,
bee
books,
souvenirs
and
heaps
more.
Access:
There
is
open
access
to
the
shop
and
the
bee
tour,
so
wheelchair
and
wheelie
walkers
are
welcome.
i
would
not
say
the
store
would
be
suitable
for
extra-large
wheelchairs
as
there
is
a
few
shelves
in
the
centre
of
the
store
and
when
it
is
busy
it
will
be
like
a
bull
in
a
China
shop
type
scenario.
