I was just passing to the museum next block and was too early decided to have breakfast and one thing lead to another and here I'm great place food delicious waitress very attentive overall and for a great meal won't go wrong.

I can’t believe one waffle is $10.99 and it felt lighter than air and left me unfulfilled. Also ordered coffee, French toast with banana and whipped cream. The whipped cream was watery at the bottom and gross. I can’t believe this horrible breakfast was $40. Service was slow. The young kid took my order for a water to drink which I never received and had to ask another server for water. Just go to a diner. It will be better price and food. I really considered walking out and not paying because it was that bad.

I have no idea how this place received 4.5 stars. The only thing I can think of is maybe they had a bunch of family members write these fake reviews. I will tell you though I ordered a simple grilled chicken salad and they put it on a flat plate with little to no salad and a grilled piece of chicken breast. Aside from that they had no balsamic vinegar, or Italian dressing. I can understand running out of certain things, but how do you run out of Italian dressing? The staff was very polite. They were either above 60 or 18 and under. The place look like a 1950s outdated diner, which definitely needed some improvement. With all the other options I had no idea that this one which was rated 4.5 stars would have been my worst. I feel bad for posting this, but I have to be honest. The people were great, but the ambience and the food were horrible.

Loved the setting, old fashion diner set up. The pancakes were great, so was the Blt. I had a little of the steak, I really liked the cook on it; well done but not dry. The flavor was great but salt and pepper was needed. The service was slow although the place was empty. Our waitress was super sweet tho. Not sure I would go back, a little overpriced for the food and service($65) but I definitely do not regret visiting.

This was a blast from the past, a small but cozy little place that's oozing with personality and character. The service was genuine and fast, I felt very much so taken care of the entire time we were there. The food felt old worldly, if that makes sense! Like the kind of food your grandma makes that you have fond memories of. A really fantastic experience, I highly recommend you come here absolutely worth it!

Clean, well-lit, but wrongly named. The pictures in some Google reviews are misleading as far as representative of food. Coffee tasted burnt, and there was nothing special about this restaurant that distinguishes it from any other diner on Long Island. The prices are slightly less than other similar diners, but not enough to offset the "meh" of American Waffle House.

I have lived in seaford for 2 years and have always wanted to try this place. I finally did this week and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. My wife and I go out often and have gotten poor service often and this place was a breath of fresh air. The service is great and the food is just as good. Im happy to say I have found my new local breakfast nook.

Food was amazing. Best pancakes I've ever had. Busy place but the wait staff was pretty attentive. Prices are comparable to IHOP bit the quality was WAAAAAAY better. Will definitely make this a regular go to from now on.

Really wanted to love this place based on the reviews, we must have picked the wrong day to go. They were not full or busy. When we arrived through back entrance we waited for a few minutes before asking where to sit, someone yelled only the right side. It took a longer for service and to order than expected. People who sat on the left side after us were served and eating before us, not sure what that is about. When the food arrived the waitress asked me to check pancakes for pecans, they did not have them, but she was adamant I rip each pancake apart to check. She stated “I knew he forgot them” and took the plate (she had accidentally touched a pancake while looking for nonexistent pecans). 15 minutes later she brought back new pancakes that were not fully cooked and batter was oozing out, she took them back again and said “I can’t believe he did that” we never saw her after that-no coffee refills, not making sure my husbands food was good nothing. 15 minutes later and my husband has finished his breakfast (with no coffee refills), she brings back pancakes and I asked for them to go. 10 minutes later she brought back a box and the check. We wanted to check the pancakes before we left and my husband wanted to order something to go-she never came back. It took 45 minutes for not good pancakes with 1 or 2 pecans in each. I had no breakfast, and no apology and spent $60 to be hungry. We understand mistakes happen, but to avoid us after one instead of trying to make it right is appalling. We will not be returning. There are so many other small businesses that care about their customers to choose from.

Food was great and in well sized portions. Service was extremely slow and at one point felt we might have been purposely ignored since the place wasn't that busy but they were very nice and polite so I'm guessing that wasn't the case and they're simply slow at taking your order.

Incredible waffles, pancakes and french toast. Delicious breakfast options all around. The bacon was nice and crispy, home fries well done. Service was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is old fashioned with tons of American pop culture and history on the walls. I went in a Monday at 11am and there was no wait, I'm sure it's much busier during weekend hours.

Sooooo, me and my wife went to this establishment and Sunday and waited for 30 minutes. The kids that work there did a good job cleaning and serving coffee. Unfortunately the adults could not figure out who was serving our table. Even after the debate 10 miutes passed and we were never served. Unreal and disappointing experience. Its clear why it was not busy on Mom's day. Very very bad experience. However, Farmingdale diner was great!

One of my favorite spots for breakfast! I drive all the way from Suffolk to come here! Love the retro, cozy vibe when you walk in. The waffles are amazing and cooked to perfection. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice sized portions with reasonable prices! Family run business which I'll always support!

Tonight’s meal was NOT what I’ve previously had. I asked for a medium Burger, my burger came burnt and overcooked and dry. I should have complained, but I didn’t for fear of him spitting on our burgers. The cook had one job to do, cook 2 burgers according to my instructions and he didn’t, not like he had a lot to do,the place was empty when we got there so service should have been better and the meal should’ve been quicker. Extremely disappointing

Never had been here before but was very happy we decided to try it. The place is set like a 50's diner. We had the chicken and waffles and the Monte Cristo. Both were delicious. We happened to be in a rush so I let my server Cindy know. She was fantastic. Our food came out very quickly and was still made perfectly. Cindy was extremely nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

The food here is very good. And being from the South I was pleasantly surprised that they Serve grits! The only issue I've ever had there is the BLT Sandwich. I always ask for fresh bacon because I don't like hard bacon but it never happens. They do have a great veggie Quesadilla!

Absolutely love this place! Extremely friendly staff, great customer service, and excellent food. The atmosphere and friendliness of the staff reminded me of being back home in North Carolina. That is a major compliment. Hospitality is rare in New York. Highly recommend this place!

Do not go here!!! We went here for Mother’s Day and it was not even busy so we were happy about that. We waited 10 minutes for coffee and continue to wait for our waitress to arrive. After waiting another 15 minutes (total 25) we flagged down another kid to ask him who is our waiter/waitress. Three waitresses began to argue who was responsible for our table. After one lady reluctantly agreed that she should come serve us, she then went to clean up another table. I do not like leaving negative reviews but if it saves one person time that we wasted waiting for to be serve, then it is worth it. My husband and I had gone here once before with no issue but this time was a disaster and being that they were not even busy on Mother’s Day, I don’t think they can afford to loose any more customers. Anyway, the day turned out nice. We ended up going to Farmingdale Diner where we had the best waitress and a wonderful experience.

Breakfast was served quickly and was excellent. Place was nearly empty, but our server who had two other tables only took forever to greet us and then take orders. Brought someone else’s food and took forever to get the check and check us out. Other waitress buzzing around and filling the huge table that arrived right after us so fast. We almost missed our train.

Nice staff but the food was beyond awful. I get that breakfast is your specialty , but if you have a dinner menu the food should still be mediocre at best. It was barely edible .

First time going here and will be going back for breakfast when in town again. Everyone here is very friendly, They make you feel welcome and the food was good. If you love a family atmosphere you'll enjoy this waffle house.

Family establishment where after a few visits you only have to say good morning before the waitstaff asks you "The usual or something different today?" As some who is used to being critical of establishments and critiquing the lack luster service or silverware, I find that all drip away as soon as I get my diner style mug filled with the perfect temp coffee. The bacon is always crispy, the pancakes fluffy but able to withstand gallons of syrup, and the eggs always perfectly done.

Excellent service and delicious food. Don't miss out on the Funky Hashbrowns! Easily my favorite side dish! Both the waffles and the French Toast are outstanding. The coffee is neverending and the waitresses are simply the best. I love this place for breakfast and I am looking forward to trying it out for dinner one day.
