Lovely, quiet setting. A nice piece of tranquility in the busyness of Pretoria East. The bacon, avocado and bree omelette was delicious with homemade bread and preserves!

Food was nice, but the service was very slow. We were there on a Sunday late morning and the cake options were limited. Burger was nice. With the pasta, they were very stingy on sauce (there was about 2 table spoons of sauce over the bowl of pasta). Their card machines are also not great. I think we had to try 5 times.

I’m very perplexed writing this one The place is exactly what I usually go for Aesthetics 10/10, organic food on everything and child friendly Yet this place kept falling short It took us 40 minutes to get our food,I don’t know if it was a general issue or something else, but we did tell the manager and he gave us free dessert But all these stars I’m giving are mainly cause of the friendly manager or waiter I’m not sure what he was but his name is Delminico (I forgot how to spell it) But he was way friendlier than our waiter and even asked us to come back

I was excited to give the cafe a try, and got even more excited when I saw the options on the menu - various boere kos options. I was met with really good and helpful service, and the cafe and garden looked very serene and inviting. The food portions were smaller than I expected. I had the biltong & brie omelette, and I had the melkkos. I would like to & want to try more items, and make a better, well-rounded review again. So I may be back, when I visit in Pretoria in future.

What a lovely restaurant! The interior is spacious and the couter has you salivating as you enter with lovely baked goodies. My friend and I had breakfast that included eggs, bacon, sausages, pap and sheba, and and and. We ended with the baked cheesecake, which is a banting one. Mmm, very tasty and not too sweet.

Tranquil gem hidden in the heart of Pretoria East with true South-African taste. Its is the perfect place for great food, a chill atmosphere and a glass of wine. Attention to the small details makes it a rare gem. Excellent for coffee lovers with a slice of decadent indulgence. Just perfect.

It is recommended that the credit card machine system should be improved. We waited for 20 minutes, but the card machine still did not process it properly. We changed the card to 2 different companies. At the same time, not only did we fail to swipe the card, but the same situation happened to other guests at other tables. 😡I didn't give it five stars because the credit card machine was so abnormal that it couldn't be used.😣
