The arrival was very welcoming. The food is well prepared and the waitress services are exquisite. The bedding just need to be changed regularly and checked because there was 3 small spiders in the beds under the sheets. The spacing is well done. Returning will definitely be an option for a next trip.

Foundry guest lodge Thanks for thee Waiter services thanks to Mr Fish for he's excellent service. we were handled with respect by all the workers. the arrivals was very welcoming. and they was every much loving. but however the bedding needs to be changed more often. but as for me I will give 5 for all catalogues. would not recommend. had a bath tub with no stopper. had to wake the security guard and figure out how to open the main gate at the restaurant ourselves in order to enter the guest house after hours. all this after the manager made me feel bad for being unable to book in early on a Sunday. but my favorite was struggling to unlock our room for 15 minutes. I was hoping for a calm and relaxing evening before my operation. Thanks for destroying it, as if i wasn’t a nervous wreck beforehand.

To Suzanne and her staff, we would like to thank you for your awesome hospitality. On short notice we had our rooms booked on both occasion this weekend. Friday night the lady in the office even walked us through the building as she did not want us to get wet in the rain storm. Saturday night they left keys out for us as we got there at 01h00 in the morning. This team is excellent in all ways. Thank you for your friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast was personally made for each one of our group members with no fuss. Your staff treated us with so much respect, our rooms was clean there is just nothing to complain about. You have a wonder full team, keep up the good work. Liza Venter

We were a group of 9 people that stayed there for a reunion. We had a great time in the Cottage, braai was lekker and swimming. The restaurant was great for watching the rugby and amazing food! Great price for the great quality and service

Went for lunch on Sunday 10 Oct 2022. Ordered the fish basket and a double Bloody Mary. The waitress was extremely slow and delivered the only a tomato juice and a glass with ice - no vodka in the glass. Then when the food arrived, it arrived without the fish cakes, no lemon to go with the fish basket and no lemon butter sauce that, for the price tag of R175, was all missing.. I was only then told that it no longer comes with fish cakes. By the time the lemon and sauce arrived, my food was cold. The service was slow and panful. A dog was barking incessantly during the experience that seems to live on the premises. When the live band finished, there was chaos with the music that went between Formula One, classical musical and a Christian sermon, all at top volume. I repeatedly asked to see the manager. Eventually the women at the table next to us came up to me to see what the commotion was. Turns out she is the owner\manager and just paid us no attention. She was very confrontational and the entire experience turned horrible. I will NOT be back there. I want to give a rating of zero, but this is not an option.
