As a gay couple, we’ve had instances where we’ve had to ask if an establishment was LGBTQ+ friendly before making a reservation, and we're grateful that when we inquired with you, we were assured you were. That gave us the confidence to book, and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Andy, the most amazing waiter. He immediately made us feel welcome, and throughout our meal, he kept us informed about each course. He was attentive, ensuring that we always had a drink and never had to wait. When there was a slight delay, Andy took the time to personally apologize and gave thoughtful suggestions when something we wanted wasn’t available, making sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the meal, I made a light-hearted joke about being out of budget because of the fantastic drinks he kept offering, and Andy's response truly touched us. With a warm smile, he said, "As long as you're having a good time, that's all that matters." His kind and thoughtful demeanor added to what was already an exceptional evening. We did read a few negative reviews before visiting your establishment , but as we all know, every person’s experience is unique. Ours certainly exceeded expectations. We appreciate that your establishment continues to provide a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community, and we will definitely be returning. You've gained two loyal clients in us. I went out with a couple of friends late night around 10 on a Saturday evening, they told us they were closing in 30 minutes and said we only order one drink each. After we ordered and payed they almost immediately told us to leave or they will throw us out. Bouncers we're trying to intimidate us and swearing at us to get us out of there. Terrible service and extremely rude staff, which might be slightly daft. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, they might of had a bad day but don't take it out on the customers. Please stay clear!!!!

For someone who doesn't like going out it's an awesome place to be. Will definitely be going back. We have had Aaron as our waiter a few times always vibing and excellent service from him. Food never disappoints, besides cocktails on tap their in house cocktails are Bomb.

Love the vibe and the food is really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. They always have great drink specials. Always entertainment for everyone.

We absolutely love this place!! The staff is friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make sure their clients are well taken care of. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing while still making you want to get up and dance until the sun comes up! We have greatly enjoyed all the artists that performed live... We usually have "wors" basket while enjoying our drinks and we have never been disappointed. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Rep & Roer for anyone looking to have a great time

If Smoke machines, lasers, drinking and dancing to good music (sometimes live music performances) is your vibe then visit Rep en Roer. Bar tender did however put allot of energy drinks on our groups bill... None of us drink energy drinks... Sooo At like R60 a red bull that cost us quite a fortune... Great atmosphere, not so awesome service...

I so wanted to give 5 stars all round. The service is great. Atmosphere also. The food, although very well prepared and grwat quality, came luke warm. It was very busy. And a steak needs to sizzle. The Afrikaans band also great. Definately worth a visit. They are busy so get there early.
