September 2018 Currently, work is being done to construct steps and pathways leading up the hill to the carved statues. Be careful of the garbage, broken glass, the sewage, and dog poop when climbing and descending. No information is available about the place and it’s history. Unfortunately, the site is being used by people (mostly locals) as a night drinking spot. I’ve added pictures of empty bottles along with other pictures in the hope that the authorities will do something to stop such behaviour and protect this historical and sacred site.

I visited this place with my friend in 2000 , there was no way to climb hill in those days, we took a easiest path we could find and climbed hill. These carvings just surprised us , we’re covered with bushes and no one knew about these in those days. Finally someone from archeology found them it seems. Now everyone can see them. This hill need to be protected, it could be an excellent tourist spot and govt can build a ropeway between this hill and padmakshi temple. It will boost tourism in Hanamkonda

Jain tirthankara is the statue of vardamana mahaveera on the hill in Hanmakonda near to bus stand .Now the Archeological department has sanctioned money for its development where many developmental activities are taken up....A great place to visit and very much near to Padmakshamma temple and the ancient temple built by kakatiyas in 14th century, siddeswara swamy temple.

Not an old temple but made just by craving Mahavir in stone. You feel like in a temple. The only benefits of following upstairs is that you can see Hanamkonda from a height. The whole city is visible from here.
