It is nice to see a small city like warangal have its own zoo, some of the bigger cities like Bangalore have very badly maintained zoo's. Was suprised to see it was very neat. No parking is available inside the zoo complex however there is a refreshments stall inside and toilets. I felt a little weird that this zoo was situated amongst apartments and houses all around it. The zoo has limited specimens but has a good mix of birds and animals to satisfy our little ones. The navigation and detail explanations can be improved a lot. There is also a large play area for kids and sufficient seating arrangement are present around the zoo for elders to sit down

Only 2stars for swings n slides. As my son enjoyed there only. It's just a place where u can't find much animals which you would like to show your kids.. They can enjoy near swing, slides n seesaw that's it... Ticket for adults 40rs n kids below 3to 12years - 20rs.

Zoo park is located middle of the hanamkonda city.It has parking lot is there two wheeler charge is 20rs, four-wheel charges are 40, Entrance tickets for adults and childerns following fare is 40and 20 rupees. In the zoo park childern play ground is there and public toilets are also available.In side of zoo very pleasant with somany trees and different kind of animals. Every information of animals on the board. Maintaining very clean in the zoo and it's ban single use plastic inside of zoo.This zoo gives you car driving through roads like safari experience,and also this zoo permitts for photo shoot.

Good one to see, with family and kids. Good trees that provide O2, you can see White Peacocks, white pigeons, variety of Parrot and Parakeet, Black n White Swans, Ostrich, crocodile, cheetah, etc..

Is a good basic zoo park (more of a park) kids would enjoy. Has variety of 🐦 birds, 🐊 crocs, tiger 🐅 and many other animals, will be fun for a curious kid. Entry fee is ₹40/- for adults. But more animals can be bought and can be maintained better.

It's good having almost all animals especially we should visit for peacock.

It's a small zoo, well maintained by the department. You have enough parking place & a small canteen. Don't have many varities of animals here..birds, tortoise, crocodile, etc. Leopard, deer park, bear, ostrich are main attractions.

Nothing special 🙂 attraction 🧲 only have one tiger 🐅 but that's very nice moment you also chil with your lovely family members 🥳🥳

Kids and adults can spend some quality time to this nearby place within waragal, especially for locals. Muxture of wild animals and birds As usual, the warangal is underdeveloped with a lot of corrupt politicians, government officials, and non visionary leaders. Scope to make it a world-class place. I'm hoping in the near future.

Decent place to visit. Don’t expect like Hyderabad zoo. But they are expanding. When I was a child this place doesn’t even exist. I think based on the funds being released they are expanding. Definitely recommend and lot of walking of course. Best time to visit when it is cold weather otherwise lot of humidity.

Not much to see, but a good place to spend some time. You won't find big cats or reptiles, but there are lots of birds, deer, one leopard, etc. The sweepers kept asking for some change for tea, etc. The place probably doesn't receive much funding, but what little animals they have are well-kept. The place is clean and tidy and ideal for picnics.

Nice atmosphere but small distrabence of lovers moments

The day we went battery car was broken down. The ticket was 50 for per adult and 25 for kids 3 to 12 years of age In the park you can see ostrich, zebra, leopard, lots of Deer, NeelGai, different birds, crocodile and many more. Approx time needed to cover zoo is 3 hrs but if you are traveling with please ensure you opt for battery car only. Else you will miss few animals as you will be tired and would like to rush back.

It has different types of animals, I felt very happy watching them.But the place should have been kept more cleaner as there is no maintenance regarding drainage and all.

It's a nice place to visit and enjoy for the animal lovers .....

Manually maintained park. Needs a lot of funding for: 1) Maintaining it at world class style. 2) lots of habitat still required(only 14 habitats in total) 3) Digitization of infrastructure and knowledge demonstrations are required. Overall, currently missing the above aspects. So, it is an improvised version of children’s park.

It is one of the most pleasant places to visit and spend time with family and loved ones or friends. I'm recommending to visit everyone whenever u have free time.

This zoo has it's legacy for decades in Warangal. Given what it used to offer years back, this definitely should have been even better than where it stands currently. It's decent for one time visit with kids. I only encountered one Leopard and there are no tigers or lions. Staff was saying Bengal Tiger was due to arrive. Snakes are free flowing in the Zoo and we did encounter one as we were walking. So please watch out and be careful.

Zoo is bit small, there are sloths bears, a panther, different types deers, crocodiles, ostrich etc..

A very wide range of animal species are found here and a nice play area and a good place for family to have a picnic here
